Ermac revealed in today's stream. They also showed Kung Lao's fatality and Ermac's fatality. I was expecting some Kitana gameplay, but sadly they showed none. Other than that, PLEASE ANTICIPATE MKX

Some rather unfortunate news in MK. While there is always a chance some characters won't make it, you always hope it won't be yours.

Sadly it seems Jade won't be in MK X Though its suggested Kitana might have a skin/costume resembling Jade. Still in this day of age of DLC, if there is enough fan support, there is still that chance.

However, even though I like Jade, I found her to be a bit slow for my liking in MK9

Currently debating whether to pick Resident Evil Revelations 2 or not. Its being released episodic, but I know there is a full released once its done.

 

I liked the first one, but when it comes to episodic games, I'm not too keen on them.

I'd just wait until full release. I liked Walking dead but I don't like waiting for a game to continue very much.

Tomb Raider's on XBL this month but I already have the game

There were games you could only play on the DSi too, but in all fairness, they were shit (apperantly - I didn't play them lol) ={

And yeah, according to wiki, the DSi was released in 2009 and the 3DS was revealed in E3 2010 the DSi XL was released between that.

 

I don't like it either lol, but it might happen~

 

I'm still upset about them releasing the new 3DS. My normal 3ds is pretty much inferior now. ;_;

Mileena got a bit of a makeover, and her theme from Mk9 is still one of the few that I liked from the game. I think the way they made her look in this game is pretty cool.

What are your guys' stances on guest characters in games? Most of us MK fans don't enjoy them, but recognize that they bring attention to the games.

 

I okay with one or two but not too many. It just annoys me sometimes because it reminds me of all the characters that could've been in it. Tanya hasn't been in any games but she looks odd. I would've preferred Sindel but this is me being biased because I love Sindel.

Just saw the newest additions to Tekken 7 with Jin returning and the Josie character and am pretty shocked at how far the franchise has fallen off in regards to character design. Josie is a mess of ideas with no consistent tone, having a generic Asuka-esque intro, with overly confident taunts and then having her cry in shock at winning... I don't understand what she's meant to be. Jin's redesign suffers from what most designers suffer from when adding and changing characters - overly complicating/cluttering something for no decent reason.

 

Aside from that the game looks like it'll play amazingly well, so here's to hoping a few more of my faves get a confirmed return. 

Josie reminded me more like Talim than anything else, Jin's costume looks like it was recycled from Tekken 4, and Alisa's 2nd costume look hideous, almost like it was on clearance at Party City.

Whenever I think of Talim I think 'Sexy Toadette' 

I see alotta SC influence on this game as a whole tbh. Claudio reminds me of Maxi with Viola thrown in. 

 

 

I think Christie was spotted in one of the trailers for Tekken 7? I forget which though. 

Josie looks like several of her moves overlap with Bruce so it looks like he's the next name to be ruled out. 

 

Tekken did the whole cutting characters out last time they rebooted when they moved from 2 to 3. Amusingly 3 was the last Tekken game I skipped for that very reason (they killed off the one character childhood me cared for ¬¬) I'd guess it helps to shape the story better and remove that bloated feeling, but I'm with you in that I like lots of characters in fighting games. 

Lol why? And I see a lot of it as well but then again both games are made by Namco. I think I'll like Josie though since Talim was my fave. I still can't believe they didn't put her in SCV.

I finished Super Mario 64 with all the stars and everything, which is great cause I never did that before (I might've in the DS version? IDK), but after the credits rolled, it was just stuck on this screen

 

 

 

 

I wanna meet Yoshi but I can't D: I wanna play again but I can't D: Luckily I got a restore point just as I got my 120th star but it's annoying =/

 

Eh, I just went back to the restore point but that's stupid =/

Ofc, I pressed all the buttons. I think in the N64 you would just turn off the game and when you turned it back on it would be in the menu, but you can't do that on Virtual Console.

Yeah, I have no clue how it works on Virtual Console, but I guess I'll have to figure it out eventually since I plan on finishing the game this time. Don't you have to get 120 stars before you finish the game?

PS. If you get 120 Stars and a cannon outside the Castle will unlock and you can fly to the castle roof and talk to Yoshi! He'll give you 100 lives and a triple jump that makes it so you can't take damage no matter how far you fall.

 

It's pretty much the most useless 100% reward cause there's nothing else to do after that

I could understand if Yoshi gave out 100 lives after 70-80 stars, but after you've completed it? That's just pointless. So it's basically like Super Mario Galaxy 2 with the stars.

She's like so neglected by Koei-Tecmo, though 

People got early copies for reviews and whatnot and started streaming the game. Whole story mode leaked, including who dies. Some of the fans don't like how some new character killed classic characters in the story mode. I mean, it's understandable, the classics have been around for 20+ years and to be offed by a newbie is kinda meh. Also, almost all fatalities leaked and a lot of character costumes leaked.

Yikes. That actually kind of annoys me how they spoiled the game like that and the release is a week away.

Speaking of mobile gaming...

I actually don't mind Sonic Dash, fun time waster here and there so if this is free aswell I don't mind downloading it

Yes ikr, I wasn't expecting Injustice level of content and honestly I don't really care about the story too much in a fighting games, but to only have normal fighting modes with no variation whatsoever gets kinda dull after a while Even a simple survival mode would've done wonders imo, even Tekken and DoA have those Also really annoying is that you can't see the alternate costumes at the selection screen so it's pretty trial and error you find a nice one you like  and there's no gallery or anything to view them aswell...

I like story modes in fighting games like MK and Tekken but it doesn't take very long for me to beat them. I try to play online but I always get murdered.

I love Skullgirls, but I haven't played it in a while. Maybe I'll try playing again but I don't think anyone plays it online anymore.
