Typical fanboys. Anyway I gave away my copy of KH to a friend yesterday. Ridding myself of the basic.

I see through you. You gave it away because you already preordered the HD collection so you can relive it's basic glory in crisp HD.  :hurr:

seriously though, two of my friends said they're going to get it...

one's not really a gamer and had to tell him to start playing games on normal because he was playing all the Uncharted's on easy, so he gets a pass. But i am judging the other one

Haha oh yes, that's definitely the reason. I tried getting my friend into rpgs but all he plays is KH, even the ones on the 3DS. I can't.

Mitsuru <3333

I've barely even played Persona 3 FES -.-

I couldn't max out her social link in time...

Stupid Mitsuru wouldn't hang out with me until i maxed out my intelligence, which took me too long to do. And she was the hottest one too

I bought FES on psn but i probably will never play it because i can't stand not having direct command over my party in a turnbased battle system. I played the psp version instead which let's you change their tactics to direct command.

So the rumor of Nintendo going to buy Atlus is growing stronger every day

if they are really going to buy them we can expect more RPG/Social game power from Nintendo

imagine if they combined Persona's Social Link system with Pokemon games

Microsoft has confirmed that they are going to allow self publishing for the Xbox One: http://gematsu.com/2013/07/self-publishing-confirmed-for-xbox-one

“Our vision is that every person can be a creator,†"That every Xbox One can be used for development. "

"self-publishing and Xbox One dev kit functionality won’t be available at launch, but will be added at a later date."

yea...your big vision that you did not bother to mention months ago and won't even be available at launch. I would rather they just come out and say that they made some mistakes and are changing some things instead of acting like they did nothing wrong.

The being able to turn the console into a dev kit thing is pretty cool though.

Ozgameshop fucking increased the price of DW8 to 58 bucks and now I'm 3 fucking dollars short of being able to purchase it.

Fuck this website.

Does anyone know any good online retailers that use Paypal and ship to Australia?

why can't you just add 3 more dollars?

That's cool that you guys got a physical release of it over there. Here it's only digital on the psn.

I didn't directly link my debit card to my paypal account, just my bank account. Therefore if I add any funds, it would take 3-5 business days to be added. And the site is on the last copy. ;_;

DW8 got a physical release worldwide tho. Even in the US.

really? i thought it was digital only for some reason. Maybe i'm mistaking it for Warriors Orochi 3 that released earlier this year.

Does anyone know how to play the Virtual Console games on Wii U, specifically the ones that were made for the Wii? Do I have to go buy a classic controller or is there a way I can get a Gamecube controller on here LOL

There is a way to get the Gamecube controller to hook up with the Wii U, you're going to have to buy a gamecube adapter tho and hook it up to your wii

Like this

WiiMote-Gamecube-Controller-Attachment.j

It's apparently compatible with any game supported by Wii Classic Controller, Wii Classic Controller Pro and Wii U Pro Controller, but I've never tried it

The upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and 3DS will not feature cutscenes, creator Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed.

In his bi-weekly column for Famitsu (via Kotaku), the designer explained that many of the videos from Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode appeared online, taking away the novelty of the experience for the player, Sakurai said "Unfortunately, the movie scenes we worked hard to create were uploaded onto the Internet." Sakurai said. "You can only truly wow a player the first time he sees [a cutscene]. I felt if players saw the cutscenes outside of the game, they would no longer serve as rewards for playing the game, so I've decided against having them."

I will definitely try this. I played all of the Virtual Console games on Wii with a Gamecube Controller (and they worked perfectly), but the Wii U store wants people to play with the Gamepad. However, I bought Virtual Console games from the Wii store on my Wii U, so I can't play them with the gamepad or a controller and I've been helpless. Thank you so much for replying!

I felt the exact same way. People believe the story is going to be more like the ones in Melee/the first game. I'm upset because I think that's moving backwards. I understand it frees up a lot of space on the disc, but SSBB was so amazing due to its content. I also don't like that a real fighting game company is balancing the characters. Part of the fun of SSBB is how crazy and disorienting it is. I don't want everything to be level and boring like a Street Fighter game.

The omission of cutscenes doesn't equate to a lack of single-player campaign, however. Nintendo has already confirmed that Super Smash Bros. will have a single-player campaign, but it'll be different than Brawl's Subspace Emissary, without cinematics tying together the entire experience.

Booooo @ no story,  when he said that some characters were going to get cut from SSBU I thought it'd be okay (esp since there's no way my favs are getting cut lol), makes sense since brawl had so much content but IDK I really liked the story and all different characters interacting and working together, it was fun, whatevs~

EDIT:

JFC, I'm not the biggest fan of COD, but even I felt for bad for the guy who got this. While I do think gamers have the right to express their views if they dislike something, it never has to go this far.

Then again a good portion of the COD community are just some of the worst scum out there.
