Went back to playing Killer Instinct today. I have a lot of practicing to do considering it's been months since I've played. I'm also plan to start Hollow Knight since I preordered on PS4.

Just got Shadow of the Tomb Raider as it was on sale (still is) and darn the graphics are so stunning

 Got Plat for FF9. Great game if you just want to enjoy a game. Didn't like a few of the characters though.

 

As for trophies, there is a bunch of cheap ones that will make you reconsider life. Speed run trophy was interesting. Shame you can't carry over the weapon you get from doing this trophy since it feels like your skipping a majority of the game just to go for it. I've never really played games quickly, so this was a struggle. I was neck and neck and sometimes even behind compared to the guide, but got it done with an hour or so to spare.

Did anyone else get red dead redemption 2? Gosh my back log just keeps getting increasing but darn I'm only on chapter 2 and the graphic and environment wow. Curious how it will stack up since Witcher 3 is still my favorite open world game of all time and that's saying lot since I loved God of war and assassin creed black flag and the original red dead redemption which came out 8 years ago.

With NISA sniping Ys (then fucking it up as usual) and now Brittany and Tom leaving XSEED and Sony going Hand of God over anything with a bit of fanservice in it, XSEED is probably on its last legs desperately trying to keep the lights on and Cold Steel 3/4 will most likely get butchered by someone.

 

Why do so many people who bring games over from Japan think that we shouldn't get the same product, fucking assholes.

L: We said it at the event last week so it's probably okay, we're currently sending the application to Sony. And the master is up already. But we've sent the application and it still hasn't gone through.

L: Nowadays, it seems that Sony's in the direction that porting R-18 stuff worldwide can't be done. This game's technically R-18 so it's under strict examination, and we get lots of questions. Like, "Please write everything in English". So, now we're answering all their questions, and we don't know whether we'll have the approval number or not. It's scary... but the master's already up. Internals are all done, and finally we have the trophy feature that needs to connect to Sony's servers, but in the company we're all "when's the trophy feature gonna be done~". That guy right there is in charge of actively translating into English and sending it to Sony, but it's making him want to say "You can't even understand Japanese?". For now when Sony's examination goes through we're thinking it'll probably be released around the new year (January)... If Sony doesn't work then we'll just release it wherever.

L: Right, waiting on Sony's examination. If it were Steam or something we can even start selling it next week. But, right now we're releasing this as part of a promise with Sony... Having to wait on their examination even though we're releasing under a promise is mean, right?

 

 

Where the policy directly affects XSEED though is Sony's forcing them to remove Intimacy mode from the new Senran Kagura game on the PS4's english release or they'll prevent the game being sold (which is something they already did to PQube's Omega Labyrinth Z), despite the mode being intact on every other platform the game is releasing on (after they had already done the work translating it). This has caused a delay in release and a lot of SK fans have cancelled their PS4 preorders which for a small company like XSEED is putting them in financial trouble.

I've been getting into the Touhou series lately. I always see fan arts of Touhou characters everywhere, so I got curious and I decided to check it out. And what do you know. I love it and I got addicted to it. I never thought bullet hells could be this fun (I hated them in Nier:Automata). lmao I played from EoSD to Mountain of Faith so far. It's very frustrating at times, but the REAL feeling of  â€œpride and accomplishment†you get once you finally figure out the patterns and beat the boss is so satisfying. :D

 

Of course, the main draw of Touhou for me are the characters and music. My main favorites are characters from EoSD (Remilia, Patchouli, Sakuya, Meiling), and Imperishable Night (Mokou and Kaguya. OTP tbh. Eirin and Reisen as well). I love Reimu, Marisa, Yukari, Alice, Yuyuko, Aya, Youmu, too, and a lot of characters tbh. They’re so awesome. <3

 

As for themes, I could be cliche and go with Flowering Nights or UN Owen Was Her? because those two are just too iconic. But I love others like Flight of the Bamboo Cutter and Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke too.

 

Where the hell have I been all these years and why did I just get into it now?! Lol, Umineko too which I had only discovered this year. Umineko was such a “life-changing†VN which even challenged my way of thinking and my perspective over certain aspects of life. I love both series and their utter wackiness! Both also happen to feature an abundant of badass, wacky, amusing female characters. <3

 

I wish these were my childhood tbh. Better late than never, I guess? :D

Well it was like this when Nvidia first announced them RTX series is pretty much a beta series. Waiting for AMD to implment it to budget friendly cards that don't cost over 499 to get the technology.

I got Detroit on Monday for $20 thanks to Black Friday sales... and finished it on the same day I got it lol

 

I got the best ending right away so I don't really see the need to replay it but it was cool. I wish David Cage hadn't used his god-character kink here (Markus gave me Fahrenheit flashbacks...) because lifeless Markus hogged a lot of the spotlight when he was undoubtedly the most boring one. I found it ironic that the leader of the deviants was the most lifeless out of the trio tbh (even Connor before going deviant showed more emotions than infinitely stone-faced Markus)

 

I really liked Markus in the intro when he was with Carl but after that his emotions just disappeared and I can't tell if it's the actor flopping at changing his facial expression to one that isn't stoic and dead or David Cage directing him to act that way (I'm leaning towards David Cage wanting Markus to be some sort of emotionless god lol)

 

Anyway Hank and Connor made everything worth it + their hug in the credits killed me + I loved the Luther/Kara/Alice makeshift family it was so cute. Lowkey still wish that Luther had joined the hug when they got through the border to Canada instead of just staring at Kara and Alice

 

Did I mention I love Connor? Because I love Connor. All of his scenes were so interesting to play omg I especially loved the chase. What a legend.

Own Detroit but still haven't sat down with it yet.

After adoring Red Dead 2 i jumped at the idea of online, but boy is it boring... (and clearly tailored from the ground up for microtransactions) Still a "beta" though so i'll pretend like its gonna improve lol

Have an absolute pile of stuff to play though, so i'll have pick something to sink my teeth into over Christmas.

I finally finished Ni No kuni II (iirc i started it in like march lol)

It's a cute game and i had fun playing it, but at the last parts of the game i just wanted to finish it

There were too much sidequests, and some of them were super hard to accomplish (like getting some material with 1% possibility of getting it). So instead of Trying to end the game 100% i just went to the final boss.

 

The fighting was a bit basic, i always found myself using the same physical attack.

But the worst of all, the letters were TOO small, my eyes hurt everytime i played it cause i had to force them to read the small letters in the screen (but i've noticed that a lot of new games have the same small letters so rip our eyes)

Know this is late but I just finished Shadow of the tomb raider and my gosh it was one rollercoaster of emotions. She's my faviourte all itme heroine for a reason and the game did her character so well..

I loved how they captured her breaking down and being so vulnerable to emotions which was so reltable, after seeing everything she went through it just hit my heart when she was just lost and emotionally destoryed and losing all hope during the end game part only to pick back up when Jonah came to her side.

 

 

Love the whole reboot but got to say this installment is the best .

A) I can't afford them.
B) The games more often than not nowadays are broken at release.
