That reminds me, wtf happened to the 3DS Persona game we were getting T.T

 

 

 

Oh yeah, Project Diva F 2nd has been announced for PS3 and Vita Spring 2014. That's nice, I suppose. Everyone on Silliconera is super happy and I'm just meh, not that big a fan of Vocaloid.

really i don't remember hearing anything about a 3ds Persona. It's ok i guess since 3ds got SMT4, the main series (i've never played any of the main series though). 

 

hehe i guess the recent one sold decently. And wow they are all really happy there in the comments  :lol:

 

 I want a DJ Max on psn for cheap, like 10-15. I would buy it.

can i ask what about persona4 makes you feel that way?

 

I personally think p4 is better gameplay wise than p3 in every single way. p3 just has the cool factor with it being a darker story and having the evokers. I don't remember p3's social links enough to compare those in the games. 

 

Initially I thought P4 handled Kanji's identity issues really well, but the more I've played it the more problematic I find it. I think I understand what they were trying to do given Atlus' handling of sexuality such as in P2, but I think they could've done a significantly better job at it. The spinoffs and other additions to P4 haven't exactly made my feels any better either.

 

I definitely agree that P4 had the better gameplay as it fixed alot of the problems I had with P3's, but I felt that P3 had the better storyline imo

sigh, i never beat Innocent Sin...i don't know if i can get into the whole negotiation/contract thing.

 

I don't blame them for the remake or the anime. Their parent company Index Corp. is doing very poorly and filed for bankruptcy so with Persona being the money maker for Atlus it's only natural we've gotten a remake of p3 and p4, anime adaptations of both, and also P4A. Not to mention the other remakes and anime adaptations for Devil Survivor also. 

 

P4's gameplay with P3's tone and story would be perfect.

I've never played Innocent Sin either. I just remember reading about how it was one of the first games to allow same-sex romances and that if it were up to the developer/head writer/director (I can't remember what his title was) that the same-sex couple would've been the official canon one and that's always stuck with me.

 

Yeah, they've gone overboard with the 'attachments' if you will. The P4 anime was rage-inducing when dealing with Kanji so I've never finished it and never will.

I'm still a little confused about the PS4. Do you HAVE to buy Playstation Plus to be able to play online? I might of misunderstood but I just want to confirm if you have to or not.

I'm planning on buying the PS4 but I don't know if I should wait.

well i won't be getting either any time soon that's for sure. At least not until a year or two after they release or a really cool looking jrpg comes out for it. Unless you have plenty of money to spend, i don't think it's ever worth it to get a console on day one. But that's just me.

 

But definitely ps4>xbox for me though. I don't think i even need to explain why at this point.

How does Steam gaming work?

Sorry, I don't understand pc gaming yet, I'm trying to get more into pc gaming but its really complicated for me. I just know that its popular. 

It is basically just an xbox marketplace PSN store, but for PC. You setup an account and buy games through the store and play them. Also, whenever you play a multiplayer game on steam, you use the same account for all multiplayer games and you can get achievements and stuff.

i can think of one person on here that would want it.  :hurr:

it's pretty stupid. It reminds me of the one about wanting to ban the newest DMC. I don't remember the reasons they gave but i remember it was funny to read.

That is so fucking stupid. Video game fans can be just as stupid as kpop ones in a lot of cases.

 

The last DMC game was pretty damn good imo. Aside from a need for a lock-on for gunplay, the combat was well done. I know people were bother by the change of character design of Dante, but its not like it annoyed me.

 

Either way, that petition isn't gonna do a damn thing. MS already know much they fucked up with the DRM and internet deal. So a few thousand dumbasses ain't gonna make a difference.

I know sometimes fighting games need updates and patches. And one or two is okay, I'll admit I plan to pick up DOA5 Ultimate.But this series needs a break. This is the like 3rd official update, and the game engine is well over 5 years old. Its about time to start on the next title.

 

And yeah its cool to add some new characters. But 4 of the 5 that are announced are just using recycled models from Street Fighter X Tekken, so this seems just lazy. I guess its nice for people who have hold out on picking it up. Its about $40 and you save on dlc. But for someone like me who already got it, its a pass for now.

This is pretty cool. Basically you log in using your psn id and use your gold trophies to bid on these things. I've always wanted trophies/achievements to be used for something, even as small as being able to buy avatars with them. I think i only have 50 gold trophies though haha.
