I have nothing but praise for Divinity: Original Sin 2. 13h in and I'm one fight away from advancing to The Hollow Marshes but it's already evident that this game has lots of replay value. Loving the story and the NPCs I've met so far.

it feels surreal CS3 is coming out in Japan today. I caved in a month ago and just pre ordered it. First time I'm ever importing a JP game. No way in hell I can wait 1-2 years for the localization. lol might as well play through it than get spoiled. I'm still 70% through with Ys 8 so I'm not in a rush to get my copy but I hope I get it by the end of the week. Spoil me much, Falcom. <3

 

I looked at a few chapter 1 streams and I already saw an emotional moment that wrecked me with Sky feels and heard a remix of Silver Will. Damn, i've never been this hyped for a game before.

 

The op is by far the worst in the series though. I love the song but the syncing is lazy and tragic. 

 

 

 

 

It's just the OP but I feel a little triggered. All the previous OPs were hyped af. I guess I have to get used to full animation now. I'm going to miss the flash animation OPs.

I'm not sure about danganronpa v3. Its so damn good however its gotten rid of my largest emotional attachment to the series since the first game very quickly yet it did it in an amazing way.

yeah, I think there are going to be 2 more arcs before all of this is finally over

 

I hope Crossbell gets brought over too. Most people who've played it has it as the best arc so far. And the whole series feel incomplete without it. There's an English patch for Zero but I'm not sure if it's any good. There's also bot translation for Ao but it's obviously terrible. lol There's currently a new translation project for both, I think they're more than 50% done so I'll probably rely on that.

 

I can understand a lot if it's voiced but I can't read text which is the problem since Kiseki are text HEAVY games. I won't be able to talk to all towns and student NPCs which has always been a Kiseki tradition for me. And from what I've seen, the voicing is still very inconsistent. There are still moments where other characters have voice while Rean is mute. This have been an annoying issue in the Cold Steel arc. >.< I'm just going to rely on picking up keywords and context to understand. lol

I do not know what went through Kodaka's mind when he was doing v3 but man........ THAT TRAIL HURTS SO MUCH. Kirumi exucation , I broke down so hard :( Her murder of Ryouma was understandable. Ryouma had no goal in life and he even said he would offer himself to die in chapter one. Kirumi  was the ulitmate maid, fufiflling duties for others , the prime ministor and she had such a bigger role as their salvation. Man when everyone was about to sacarfice themselves for her I was spending all my free time with Kirumi  as well,  I liked her and I adored her for being the motherly figure so that got my emotions :(

I'm glad it's expanding but chapter 3's expansion gives me the creeps, I hate spiritual horror folklore, that's one thing I can't stand and they gave me that.......

 

And yes Angie's death was needed, I hated hated her so much

But I'm falling in love with Maki, she seems to be a nice character, although that reveal of her true ultimate, assassin    she tops Kirigri for me as top waifu I think

So I got a SNES Classic yesterday. It's awesome. (:

 

I never had a SNES, so it'll be my first time playing quite a few of the games.

I just finished playing Muv Luv Alternative and I'm now crying buckets T.T

It's definitely one of the best VNs of all time and probably the most emotional (it's the only VN that made me cry)

I kinda expected the final outcome of the game

Squad 207 and Sumika being killed, save for Shirogane, in the BETA world

but I still cried anyways. I'm especially thankful for the lightheaded epilogue, after all that depressing episodes before it.

I highly recommend it, even if you don't usually play VNs. (It has some disturbing scenes though, so be prepared)

 

Anyways, now that I've finished MLA, I can finally start on Danganronpa xD (and fate hollow ataraxia after the voice patch is out next week)

I actually got Muv Luv, all three vn on my steam account, need to get around that vn in the coming few months (hopefully before Little busters is out).

 

 

Well Chapter 4 of danganronpa v3 completed and..... These trails keeps getting better each chapter

I'm actually a bit disappointed with something in Danganronpa V3 now lol

 

spoilers of course

 

 

They were doing so well slowly opening up Maki's character but now they've shoved her straight into Kaito's love interest so quickly its jarring. Chapter 3 she learns how to be friendly and trust another human but only with Kaito and Shuichi, yet in chapter 4 almost everything she says and does is fixated on Kaito including such dumb tropes as getting mad he doesn't pick her to go looking around for clues.

 

And Kaito is being a ponce going on about not carrying everything alone yet he won't tell either of them important stuff like how he's sick.

 

I'm starting the chapter 4 trial and it feels like every character is simply using Shuichi for their own ends, either implicitly like Kokichi or subconsciously like everyone else to get them through trials. Except Gonta lol.
