my friend recommended to me recently iplay the witcher,so i bought the 3 games because they were 10% off for all 3on steam at the time..im a little bitter tho bc this was just a day or 2 before the haloween sale so i could of gotten them for much cheaper lol..., but whatever im not that upset over it.

 

im only on ch 2 of the first game and im obsessed.it is rly fun tho tedious at times

I've only beaten the witcher 1 but what are your impression on the first game by the way?

 

Finally little busters came out. Just picked that up and playing through it seems like everything I wanted from a vn is back. Keys humour and I can't wait for my feels to get torn.

Just finished first route in Little Busters and well......SPOILERS

 

 

First ending got was Komari's route and it was bittersweet, I did tear up; thanks you Key for making me tear and playing with my emotions, it was 'weak' but I still enjoyed it and actually can relate to Komari of her past which only just pained me more seeing how she was broken before recovering at the end,

 

 

I'm also almost done with Chaos;Child's main common route and just started Chapter 11 SPOILERS

Chapter 8 was hell, just when they couldn't play with my emotions more chapter 9 comes right along and smacks me in the face, my fav girl died like wtf and with my second fav girl being the killer. Plus Chapter 10 WTH man wtf.... Like these twists and turns just breaks me to find out that the killer was working with him   .

 

 

Just when I was recovering from Muv Luv Alt ending both Chaos;child and Little busters smacks me in the face with this.  

 

Also got 176 moons in Mario Odyessy and having fun, got to the cloud world

pretty good, but make sure you have a i7 cpu . Ubisoft added double DRM to protect the game from piracy, which in english means the CPU usage is double the usual. 

Darn it. Only have an I5 6500 :( it looks really beautiful.

been though a lot of heartache in games for the past two months so I think I'm ready

 

Also finished LB main game. Loved it so much. It just really pulled my heart a lot and the twists and turns really just makes me think that it was going to drop but nope Jun Maeda really pulled it together. Great stuff. Will be playing ex later when it gets patch hopefully

considering upgrading after 5 years. I mostly play triple a fps + indie games (i.e. I wanna play fallout 4 finally! my current pc can't handle anything recent other than some indie games). Should I shell out $200 more for 32 gb of ram vs 16 gb?

I'm currently running my system with 8gb and can play most current games right now but if you have to decide 16 to 32,I'll get 16 then use the rest on a gpu and cpu only because there's not much games that demand more than 16. I wager 12 is enough right now. Also mining gpu price are lowing and ram can be upgraded easily if you really need that extra 16 for 32gb Edited December 1, 2017 by Salieri

Anyone play FGO, I just started and it's pretty fun, the gacha is pretty bad though, 1% chance to get a 5 star wtf At least we get Santa Alter for free at the end of this Christmas event

Played it before like the beginning part but didn't like it at all since it's a getcha and there's a huge money sink into which turned me off right away.

i really like the story and the gameplay

at first i thought it was going to be hard cause there were way too many rules and stuff

but i got used to it

and it also took me a while to get used to battles ;-; i think i died the most in the first palace

 

Don't worry as you play the game you'll just get use too the battle system, it took me like 5 whole days in game time just to finish the first dungeon

What's the GOTY for you guys?

 

A lot of people are saying Horizon but I haven't tried that one. I personally think it's Zelda followed by Wolfenstein 2

Nier automata still is my goty. Emotional roller-coaster and amazing game play. Been so immerse to it. Second would be Mario odyssey.

 

I'm planning on revisiting FFXV once I get my HDMI port repaired with all the DLC and such.

Come back to ffxiv and use the thread please I'm the only one on that thread

Another big FFXV update. Idk if I should jump back in to it again or wait for more content. I already planned to replay some of my favorite games this year after Tokyo Xanadu.

 

I've already downloaded the game again last week for whatever reason. The current file size of the game though... omfg... rip my memory space. </3

i went for the true ending

feeling, opinion, what's your impression of the game?

I'm happy with the ending, and i enjoyed the story overall

the gampelay is nice and  i would actually play it again if i have time 

i think there wasn't much time for everything tho, like some little tasks took the whole afternoon/evening (or the whole day in sundays)

so that wasn't fun

The music is good  

the anime videos are nice

it deserves the Best RPG award they received

 

i actually saw you guys comment a lot about it when the game came out, but i wasn't planning on playing it

so i'm happy that i got to play it

 

Sounds like you had a blast and I do agree with the sunday's taking over an entire day had to run the game like 3 times just to platinum it , who is your faviourte girl in the game?

Haru was my favorite too. She's so amazing and elegant especially when she turns into "Noir."

I got the True Ending in Tokyo Xanadu and I almost wished I didn't. For me, Normal Ending >>> True Ending. It was beautiful and bittersweet but the True Ending turned it into some contrived BS. *bitter* >.< I'm just going to pretend the post-Last Chapter content are just extra content, alternate ending and that the Normal Ending is the "true" ending. The over-the-top heroic and friendship speeches made me facepalm sometimes, but it was very enjoyable and awesome overall. The plot twists were great! It took me a while to figure out White Shroud's identity and the story turned out completely different than I was expecting. 

 

Not quite on the same level as Persona 3 and Kiseki, but i love the characters. They're an adorable bunch. Not to mention, the game actually has their OTP priorities straight.  I thought it'd be another harem nonsense, but it's obvious who Kou's 2 legit potential romantic partners are. <3 I totally support all 3 of the game's intended pairings in the main cast. :D My faves are usually the likes of Asuka or Mitsuki, but I think my best girl is probably Rion. I found her moments the most enjoyable. Judging myself for betraying her for Haruna as my bias in SPiKA. 

 

My main complaint were the typos. I didn't mind some of the interesting "liberties" Aksys took with the dialogue, but the typos were so damn messy, especially in the later chapters. Geez, it was out of control. 

 

Darn sounds like you had a blast with tokyo xandu really thought it was going to be another hit or miss xD.  I might have to binge it one day just a question where you mention typos, are they frequent and do you think it had hinder your expereince of the game?

 

EDIT: I might get hellblade setsuna soon since it's on steam sales and it seems to be a good game, has anyone played it? Would like some opinion on the game before deciding to or not buy it.

Finished all of Havensward msq and now I'm finally on Stormblood. First thing first Lyse is so beautiful *.*

I'm so sad Trails of cold steel 4 screenshots been out for about a month now and I am still waiting for cold steel 3 release for English version I want CS3 so badly but now with 4 screenshots coming I'm just like.... :(

I mean, like, obviously we been knew, but it's nice to see them acknowledge it once in a while, Dragon Age 4 is still on its way!

Honestly I'm incredibly hyped about DA4, and... barely not hyped at all about Anthem. Which sucks cause they're probably prioritizing Anthem right now, and I'll have to wait until that one is released to, maybe, hopefully, if Anthem doesn't suck too much, get in hype mode for DA4. Or they could just scrap Anthem altogether and give the gays what they want, aka DA4. But maybe that's just me

In before Dragon age is another flop just like how they destoryed Mass effect series :(

 

 

Can't believe it took me this long to find out trails in the sky actually have Japanese dub, I'm going try to finish it one day xD  got walking dead a new fronteir, dies irae, VA-11 Hall-A Cyberpunk Bartender Action to finish before I attempt to do it.

Just finished Trails in the sky first chapter and that ending.... Darn it falcon, even back in those days they really know how to make a story. I'm in love with the main protagonist Estelle and Joshua but that ending.... That ending...

Joshua being an assassin not able to talk and the magician made him into a killer.... Just..... And now that Joshua told Estelle about it. I'm heartbroken just why.... Things really didn't have to go this way... Estelle and Joshua

can't wait to see how Sky second chapter is. I've bought Third chapter two days ago too seeing how much I love the first.

Haha, Falcom really loves their cruel endings, don't they?

 

You should look out for certain details in the sequel. ^^ Without going too much into spoilers, Sky SC has stuff that plays an important role in CS3. I just find it amazing how this arc has set up a lot of important events for the future games, really.

 

Prepare yourself for it though. SC is even more of an emotional rollercoaster. omfg

I said before cs2 is the most heart wrenching game that I've played in the last few years. I wonder how sky 2 would handle against cs2 xD

 

Edit: I'm planning to play the crossbell series soon and been looking at falcon reddit for the progress of is translation. Wondering if I should really wait for the final edit of the first crossbell game (saw it at 50%) or not. I'm used to games with iffy translation from kdramas and some visual novels I've read. As long as I can understand the story I'll be satisfied.

i think i might give up on the platinum for persona 5 (for now)

 

i'm just about to finsh the 2nd to last palace, and i couldn't max out the sun confidant so i lost that trophy 

haven't finished all books, i still need some more personas for the compendium (i have satanael tho )

and i didn't buy all the drinks 

 

aaaand i can't defeat the Twin wardens (how did you guys defeat them?)

 

so i think i'll finish the story for the second time and i'll play FF XII now

 

For the twins I just used yoshimitsu and spent like all my yen trying to create the perfect being from there it was pretty easy xD.

 

You need to increase your speed in reading, honestly it's one of the eaiseist things to do.

 

As for getting all drinks make sure you keep track of the ones you have and note them down, should be easier during October time as you'll have most of the locations.

 

I ran through the game three times (Japanese first time, English second, speed run 3rd). After second time most of your trophies should be unlocked if not all (I just made a horrible mistake of ignoring one important side quest).

 

 

 

 

Edit: Also just finished chapter 1 of trails in the sky sc and it seems pretty challlanging,
