I actually got Muv Luv, all three vn on my steam account, need to get around that vn in the coming few months (hopefully before Little busters is out).

 

 

Well Chapter 4 of danganronpa v3 completed and..... These trails keeps getting better each chapter

I'm actually a bit disappointed with something in Danganronpa V3 now lol

 

spoilers of course

 

 

They were doing so well slowly opening up Maki's character but now they've shoved her straight into Kaito's love interest so quickly its jarring. Chapter 3 she learns how to be friendly and trust another human but only with Kaito and Shuichi, yet in chapter 4 almost everything she says and does is fixated on Kaito including such dumb tropes as getting mad he doesn't pick her to go looking around for clues.

 

And Kaito is being a ponce going on about not carrying everything alone yet he won't tell either of them important stuff like how he's sick.

 

I'm starting the chapter 4 trial and it feels like every character is simply using Shuichi for their own ends.

 

 

That's exactly what I felt throughout that entire trail of chapter 4. Just didn't enjoy how people were using him :(

What did you find out about the victim and the killer and motive? I just started chapter 5 and things been hell.

 

 

 

Just got to chapter 5 trail...... Just when things couldn't get more bizarre .....

I just finished danganronpa v3 just yesterday and well

 

SPOILERS BELOW

Chapter 5 and 6

 

Kodaka you freaking troll... I'm glad my waifu Maki is still alive but chapter 5 end was the perfect conclusion yet in chapter 6 Kodaka trolled the entire fan base of danganronpa, all along we were the ones that are the culprit behind the entire killing game.

 

Kaito's death hurts a lot and I was almost freaking out when Maki cried :( and Ouma..... Seriously a genius plan from him, he's the best character in the game.

My birthday's on my profile if you wanted to know  and I barely touched nor have the funds for all the 2017 games,  I wanted to play this year.   Just used my summer holiday to finish off a lot of the games I had on backlog.

I just finished Danganronpa v3. I feel cheated.

opinion on the end?

I have mixed feelings about it really. 

 

 

I mean I'm glad that there were survivors since I was quite certain that they were all going to perish at the end, but I was quite confused by what Tsumugi said. She said that the characters in Danganronpa 1 and 2, Hope's Peak Academy and the Remnants of Despair were all fake, but if that's true, what did I watch/read the previous Danganronpa entries for (I hope she was just lying)?  Also, I was already kinda pissed at Spike Chunsoft for killing off the female protagonist (Kaede) so early in the game but got even more pissed when I learnt that it was a wrongful death. Hm, but all in all, it's still pretty good with all the plot twists. 

 

 

 

 

It wasn't 'fake' from what she said, but more of the lines that it was all 'fiction' and that the older 2 games, trigger happy havoc and Goodbye despair were all just written by an author, the killing and deaths, along with the excuations.  2 different things in my opinion. You were just reading what the author wanted you to read, although that could be argued (as well as confirmed) that v3  was fiction, if you played through the final trial and when it offered you the chance to save, than that's one of the endings for the game. 

 

Play through the casino games and get the friendship fragments, some of them really adds a lot to the characters and also try out the rpg mode it's quite addictive once you played a few rounds of it.

Playing through Chaos;Child and it's a lot darker than I would have thought. Getting those Steins;gate feels

Just finished muv luv Extra and Unlimited, all endings

 

My thoughts spoilers obviously

Extra

 

I personally loved it the routes and all the girls. Loving and finding each one to be really a gem. Tears up for Sumika and Tama. Both my favourite girls getting to know them even more had me really care for everyone. The sport event, food cooking competition and holiday, alongside each girls individual event from Archery of tama and hospital accident of class rep and kei. Even got to know class press best friend.

 

 

Unlimited

 

The things that want down throughout the ten episodes had my heart breaking, from the elder woman to Protag passing out due to BETA attacks. That just made me freak out a lot. Thinking about the meaning of life and what Marimo said about not taking it for granted but living it to its fullest. Also that scene with Meiya made me really love her. The animation was so top notch. Missed Sumkia a lot.

 

 

Just loaded up Alternative today and the opening wow.. Got me hyped can't wait to get back to reading this epic trilogy

Glad you enjoyed Extra and Unlimited (Though not many people liked Extra because they thought it was boring). 

Be prepared to be devastated for Alternative though. That game is probably one of the most depressing VNs ever of all time (probably even more so than Clannad) and it will definitely make you appreciate Extra a lot more (since Extra is very lighthearted while Alternative is just screwing with your emotions).

 

Just so you know, there are fan discs to the franchise as well, namely Muv Luv Supplement (takes place after events in Extra) and Muv Luv Altered Fable (takes place after events in Alternative)

You will meet Sumika again in Alternative, don't worry

 

More than clannad? Clannad had me like seriously..... If it's more wow   and I already love Extra so yay more time to appreciate it. 

 

Do you recommend the fan discs? I'm just going to complete Alt, maybe in two to three weeks and than start Little busters (when it comes out on Steam).

   Getting so hyped up right now..... These games are really taking a toll on my money 

 

Completed Life is strange before the storm episode 2 and....

 

I absolutely love Rachel so much, the game is just making me adore and really enjoy whom she is, the way she acted for Chloe and trying to get her out of trouble. To the part where they were acting on stage.and enjoying it. The part where Chloe and Rachel kissed made my heart pound .

Also the twist in the end, Sera is actually Rachel's mom O.o what.....

Literally not feeling alright with how Muv Luv Alt is coming, Obvious spoilers below,  got to chapter 7 and....

 

 

I saw the spoiler of Marimo dying but seriously when that happened, my heart just froze (before when they were graduating I shared a tear for them and when Takeru was talking to her about it, just those lines about how she coached them made is so personal), she was going on about her past and that just made me feel so numb and btroken . When she got killed from that BETA :( Also the events that happened had me; like in chapter 6 where the team was thinking of a strategy, I cried for Class pres about hearing her dad dying, even Kei's childhood friend tore me.  Even the girl that Tama was talking too really set me going. Such a harsh world :(

 

Even seeing the BETA for the first time and seeing just how strong they are :( my heart is just in shambles right now.

 

Thanks goodness going back to Extra's timeline and Marimo   is still there. But things are confusing right now about his own PTSD and what happens.....

 

 

Just how much more devastating can this game get?

That trailer just screams beautiful. I need a SMT with a dark atmosphere although I'm getting Strange Journey when it release HD SMT     

 

I hear loads of discussions about Danganronpa v3...I've just finished the second game and I adore it! (even better than v1)

but I keep hearing bad things about v3...still going to play it this weekend tho

It's a huge mix bag depending if you like or dislike the game, have fun also what did you think about the ending of goodbye despair? Should watch 3 anime if you haven't already.

It's gonna get much more devastating, especially the final chapter (This is why many people appreciate Extra more after playing this game). The epilogue is pretty light hearted though, so don't worry.  

 

(The spoiler is safe for you to open, but I'm doing it for other people who haven't played the game)

 

 

 

Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting Marimo to get killed so brutally like that. Also, I really felt kind of sad for Capt Sagiri and that Finnish Eishi whom Tama talked to, but that's nothing compared to what's gonna happen later.

In Chapter 9/10 (can't remember which), 2 major events will happen which will be even more depressing so be prepared. 

 

 

I'm on chapter 9 just about to enter you know what, thanks goodness chapter 8 was a nice and calm chapter.

 

I fell in love with the Shogun Yuuchi, she's such a nice girl. During that mission  really make me appreciate Meyia for whom she is. Scarfing herself as a double of her own sister. When  Finniish died.and Sagiri died .. :( Poor Tama and Kei. Extra made me like Sagiri of what he is and how he thinks despite abandoning Kei when she was still a child. 

 

Extra time line was pretty well.... Devastating to say. Yuuko warning of Quantum causality....

 

I was celebrating and being happy that Extra timeline was peaceful until. Marimo's death came again, made me freak out and like.. Not to mention Sumika basketball hoop fall ontop of her reading her daires only made my heart hurt.... Sumika is still  my top girl in Muv Luv and just having her as 00 unit is making me worry.

 

Also Captain Isumi and the valks are really a nice addition to the team, really warming up towards them

 

EDIT: Chapter 8 was much more like information dump, G = Grey Dr. Grey bomb which is really clever and just having Sumika back despite being 00 unit. Those moments with her  just had me teary

OMG Captain Isumi died and she scarified her own life to blow up the remaining BETA's that is just a gut punch right to the feels :(  not to mention I was already feeling really bad when Kaswagi went KIA :(

 

First Marimo than Kashiwagi than Isumi just..... Stop hurting me with these feels too much..

I enjoyed the ending quite a lot, Chapter 6 was amazing, I loved how everything came together and all the plot-twists (like revealing Nagito's motive for wanting to kill everyone due to them being the Ultimate Despairs + finding out Hajime's true identity) honestly I was kind of dead inside because of Chiaki - I loved her so much the fact we lost her like that was heartbreaking but I love how she ends up being a sort of guiding light in the ending

 

 

Do yourself a massive favour and watch Danganronpa 3 Despair side anime, you will get more of your girl

I just happened to come across the Danganronpa anime, will watch it and might bring me into the game

Don't watch it before playing it. The first anime is really really weak compared to the game itself. And 3 anime will spoil you of goodbye despair game

Just finished Muv luv alt and..... Spoiler obviously.

 

 

I actually thought I was spoilt in terms of the ending where it ends but man chapter 10 was a hell of a ride. Everyone that I came to love, Kei, Tama, Class pres, Mikoto and even Meyia whom I didn't like in extra yet grew in all of Alt I cried my eyes out during the final part. All the girls :( just too much feels. I seen all the endings and their wills just broke me even more. Tama one made me cry, I just love her so much throughout Extra and Unlimited and than in Alt

 

 

 

The plot twist in the end was seriously wtf Sumika being the causality conductor, I loved her why must they need to go yandere on her/it. Just discovering her as 00 unit and about her past about the BETA's just totally made my mind blow and than and just cripples my thought,

 

And yes it's even more emotional than Clannad and that's something I haven't thought would happen, I just love my emotions being wrecked so that was an amazing experience.

 

 

 

Seriously one of the best vn I've ever read. Given it a 9.7 out of 10 my highest on my vndb list .

 

As for Mario odyessy, been playing that; got to the third world (jungle) and that's the furthest

Well I finished Doki Doki Literature Club!

 

 

It was a nice read but a lot of the things that were hinted out I felt really forced. It was too obvious as a twist the last bit before you delete Monica's character, I found myself reading for like 40 minutes just getting to know her and understand what type of character she was. Found her twitter too and well I really did like her as a character along with Natsuki who too was a great character The thing that made Yuri interesting I felt really 50/50 because it felt she was actually being a total yandere and her shyness didn't even come close to being portrayed that well. Also didn't really care much for Sayori whom for the later most part wasn't in the game although her death was a sudden wtf moment.

it was a good story but had too many things that I felt was wrong/irreverent to the plot.

I'm glad you enjoyed it; it's certainly much more emotional than Clannad. Sumika's past and Squad 207 really got me good 

 

 

 

 

I sort of expected that Squad 207 would end up all dead (except Takeru) when they infiltrated the Original Hive but I still end up being emo and all after all their deaths. I also expected that Sumika to be the causality conductor but i never thought she would die in the Original Hive (I honestly thought Takeru would have to be forced to kill Sumika in order to return to his own world so I guess it's a blessing in disguise (?) ) Well, at least I can take comfort in the fact that Kasumi survived because I sort of expected her to die as well but I'm glad she didn't because I would have been even more depressed 

 

 

 

P.S Are you going to play Altered Fable?

 

 

I wished they could have been together, Takeru and Sumika. Like the past about the other realities such as Class press, Mikoto, Meyia, Tama, Kei with Takeru and just having that flipped on it's side really made it just totally ... :( 

 

Glad that Kasumi is still alive but I do wonder what will happen in that time line now that they only just defeated the main hive of the BETA. 

 

 

 

I'm not sure if I'll play altered fable yet, got Little busters coming out this Wednesday and Fate Hallow as another vn to read through, alongside SubaHibi to purchase and read. Oh and I am also reading through Chaos child right now.

Wow you are certainly an avid VN reader. Meanwhile I'm reading through 4 VNs at the same time, though Devil on G String and Fruit Of Grisaia are my priorities atm. Btw, is there a way to play doki doki literature club on android (I read that the game's running on the Renpy engine)?

Please I only recently got into visual novels lately (despite reading my first one back in 2011) because of the stories I've encountered. Actually I finished Narcissu 0 just today by the way g senjou no maou is one of my top 5 visual novels, what do you think of it? Also been wondering about the garisa series. Saw it on steam before as it was on sale but wasn't sure if it be good.

 

 

I've seen a few videos on how to make Doki Doki Literature Club run on android. Although unsure how reliable they are. I know it can be run on mac and obvious windows but as for Android unsure sorry. It's only 4 hours vn not that bad is a nice read.
