the launch lineup is honestly weak, if it wasnt for zelda i wouldnt even consider buying

What is the launch lineup besides Zelda? That weird motion game collection, Arms, Splatoon maybe, and.......The ports probably like Skyrim and Disgaea? That does seem weak. So people are basically buying this new console for one game, which is Zelda. That's not enough to get me excited. 

 

The whole thing was pretty underwhelming to me. They didn't talk about the console itself nearly enough and everything they did say was presented better in the trailer from before. I did miss some of it so maybe i missed some info, but are there still friend codes? Are they improving their store and internet? Is everybody going to have to rebuy all their virtual console games because games are tied to the console and not the accounts? Is that going to change because it has to. Things need to connect to an account instead. No specs that i saw. The important stuff you need to know to spend $300 wasn't given. It was just, here's Zelda and Mario. Go buy. 

the launch line up is basically only zelda confirmed and maybe the 1, 2 switch though it was confirmed. Meanwhile Arms is for springs but not for launch at least it wasnt announced, and Splatoon 2 is for summer not even spring

 

the only thing they said regarding online is that you can chat using a nintendo app which i guess means there wont be online function like in ps4 or xbox where it connects you to the people you are playing online with. Also the switch is gonna have free online for a few months and then in fall its going to be pay like xbox live,etc

Not even Wii U had friend codes.That definitely won't be a thing.

 

I'm still going back and forth between buying it at launch or Holiday 2016. Zelda is releasing simultaneously on Wii U, so I might wait for a Holiday/Black Friday bundle. Hmm.

well zelda yes, but im undecided on switch legit the only game is going to be zelda and i can get that in wii u but then again the switch version will be superior plus march is my bday so i mean a good time to buy it lol

I figure since I'm going to play through this game a bunch of times anyway, I don't mind playing it on Wii U and then Switch. And I have a feeling there will be better bundles and stuff during the holiday. 

if they say fire emblem warriors is for spring or summer then this will be me on launch date of the switch

the switch launch lineup is terrible, the only saving grace is zelda which is the only thing making people wanting to buy it but you can get zelda on wii u so that cuts it

 

i hope the fe direct gives switch some love maybe some PoR virtual console or something

They need to have a strong E3. The die hard fans will carry them through the first couple of months, but then they really need to make a strong push. 

 

There's that rumour that Pokemon will be coming to the Switch this year, so hopefully that is true.

 

Speaking of PoR, I wonder why they never spoke about virtual console at all.

maybe the same reason FE is getting its own direct

Most likely tho it's about the mobile game and the Warriors game.

honestly they should make a PoR & RD HD remake combined together and give us the ever so missing support convos from RD that existed but were cut due to resources

Fire emblem was annouced that is all i wanted. A bit hmm about it being delayed but if the delays means is better and that we hopefully get a worldwide release im okay with it

 

Hopefully they show some gameplay in the tree house segment
