Death Stranding won't be at E3. :( I've been curious about that game for a while. Based on what I've seen so far, it seems like my type of game in terms of themes and setting.

 

I hope there's something about The Last of Us 2. The first game's ending still has me thinking about it sometimes even after a few years. And the only teaser for the sequel so far was very interesting and lots of talking points already despite it being short.

OMFG DSJAIDJ)JWE( I AM IN TEARS!! The first reveal screenshots were kind of meh to me ( esp the new characters ) other than the visuals and Sky characters. But now, we finally get a glimpse of Fie and Laura and omfg they look so badass and Fie with long hair JFC. And Ouroboros look so effing badass too... Iron Maiden and the Stahlritter, Shirley and the Red Constellation, Campanella, Mcburn... damn Falcom is going all out with this game

The Iron Maiden the strongest anguis and Mcburn the strongest enforcer and that's not even mentioning Campanella. jfc how are they going to be beaten? it won't surprise me if they take the W again like in CSI. 

 

Sharon is with them... sometimes it's hard to forget she's an Ourobors enforcer... i wonder what she's up to and her true strength... is she still loyal to Alisa's family?

im sure this has to do something with Zephyr and Red Constellation beef... please let Laura and Fie shine this time, Falcom. no more being baby sitted and saved all the time by adults! i hope these 2 can hold their own against these monstrous strength opponents... >.< excluding Rean who has MC perks, these 2 are the most skilled fighters in Class 7 by far

 

That and a bonding moment between the 2 and i'll be content even if they don't appear that much...

 

Arianhod (aka The Iron Maiden) and the Stahlritter (Ines, Duvalie, Ennia)

they have been mentioned and referenced a lot in the Steel series and Arianhod even had a cameo in CSI... i'm curious what's Arianhod's up to... in CSI, she saved Class 7 from Nosferatu.

Don't slander Duvalie like that, she tries her best with annoying companies  But yeah looks good, sadly I think Laura and Fie will probably just be cameos and not playable but finally we get to see the rest of the Ouroboros characters and Alisa is confirmed in the game too so I'm sure Sharon is still on the 'good' side

 

Aidios help that girl, it looks like she'll be spending more quality time with Mcburn based on screenshots lol

 

yeah, i'm worried they won't be playable.. :/ i'm hoping they could be playable for certain sections similar to Toval and Claire in CSII... i feel like they have so many unfinished businesses with their opponents/rivals. Anyway, I'm hearing we're getting a full reveal for Alisa and Fie on the 20th, followed by the others i think... it should indicate the extent of the old cast's involvement

tbh, it would be a bummer if he misses out on this game... he easily has the most entertaining side-quest in both Steel games

Seriously.... to hell with Akuma! He's so annoying to fight... why is he in Tekken? He triggers me so much. >.< And mess that you can no longer see who your opponent plays before the match. I can't be selective with my opponents anymore and I can't run away from Akuma players. >.<

Mess. I thought this week's CS3 news were going to be about Alisa and Fie and maybe the rest of class 7 after their silhouettes were teased but Falcom is like... "Nope! You're getting Elise, Cedric, and Alfin!"

 

 

 

 

well, i've always liked Alfin anyways! <3 Based on her profile info, Elise seems to be a much more interesting character than she was in previous games and Cedric doesn't look like the same crybaby prince anymore. He's giving me Patrick 2.0 vibes tbh lol

I finally started Steins;Gate 0 VN after weeks of procrastination and after watching Steins;Gate anime ( since I'm too lazy to play the 1st VN again ) for the nth time. And dayum, this is already hitting deep. I can tell I'm in for an emotional journey.

omfg, i just realized you could choose to turn off your phone and not answer Amadeus' calls... i've been answering her calls until then... now, i'm really conflicted whether i should keep answering it or not... i agree with Okabe's reasoning why not to answer, but at the same time...  this game is so cruel :(

 

i guess i'm going to make a bunch of save files and replay different scenarios like the first game

i  got my first Steins;Gate 0 ending and i'm pretty sure I got the worst possible ending

 

 

 

i'm certain  i messed up big time during the Pandora's Box chapter when I answered Amaedeus' call and didn't tell Maho the truth... at the time, i thought it was the correct decision since they escaped the ambush but only near the end did i realize what a huge mistake not revealing the truth to Maho earlier on :(

 

the fight between Suzuha and Kagari were so cool and intense to read through! i was cheering so hard for Suzuha to win the entire time.. damn, i wonder if they're really going to animate Suzuha fighting naked

 

anyway, there were already a lot of tear jerking moments and i haven't even seen half of it </3

 

 

 

fortunately, i have saved files and it's time to try again!

 

i'm not giving up until i get Okabe to Steins Gate lol

i've gotten more PS3 games for the summer sale tbh, especially the ones i skipped and missed out on... i'm glad i decided to check out the PS3 PSN since i haven't used PS3 in a while. Most PSN sales for the PS4 doesn't interest me and i've already played the ones that does. Ugh, and PSN EU has the Japan sales, there's some games there i wanted to get. Honestly, i'm triggered. PSN EU always seem to have the better sales for me, even back during Christmas. :(

 

sometimes, i feel really tempted to fool the system into thinking i live in Europe, but i'm not about that life anymore

i got Until Dawn in my library too and i'm playing it after i finish the games i'm currently playing

 

i do have to figure out a way to clear some GB though because Until Dawn has like 40 something GB... honestly it's kind of annoying having to do this all the time. i wish it was like back in PS3 days when you can have 50 something games and not have to worry about memory space :(

 

i think it's about time i get storage expansion like my friends suggested, but i wonder how troublesome is it? i'm too lazy to do it lol

YASSS! this week's Cold Steel 3 dengeki goodness will be about the WHOLE class 7! :D I already read the leaks info and saw the pics, but i can't wait to see the pics in hq. they look amazing <3

 

Anyone a Layton fan? The new one is coming out on the 20th for mobile

 

Not sure how I feel about the voices tbh but I'm excited for the puzzles and a new protagonist and focus on smaller mysteries sounds intriguing, hopefully they make them more challenging, the ones I played on 3DS were too easy for me

It's actually really easy now since PS4 can use external storage, just buy a HDD and plug it into the PS4 usb ports and move and manage your games from the system simple as that.

Me too :( i don't like the idea of downloading in the PS4 even the CD games 

you can't even play them without the CD even tho you downloaded it 

 

 

yeah, it's weird how it works it's one of the reasons why i just started getting digital copies instead of physicals unless if i really like the game. not to mention, i think they require the same memory space regardless

main Cold Steel guys will be returning for the 3rd game in the arc and a lot of them will have a major role to play <3

 

 

 

 

damn, I've never liked her a lot but Alisa looks stunning... she grew up well

 

Laura mastered Arseid school and now she's challenging Aurelia who she can't even look at w/o getting intimidated in CSII. I have a feeling she's going to end up as a Stahlritter at the end of the game. I hope her mother and her possible connection with Steel gets clarified too. I've always found it weird how her mother has never been mentioned especially despite the fact Legram is one of the explorable towns. No way Falcom miss out on a simple detail like this unless if it's on purpose. 

 

Well, Fie is a bracer now. She should have major skills boost during the time skip if she's going up against someone like Shirley. I love the long hair but it would take me a while to get used to her outfit. It looks like a bunch of random clothes put together. But then again, that's something she would totally do. Anyway, to hell with bonding events and freedom of choice! She and Laura are definitely gfs. <3 ;)

 

Jusis and Machias seem to have a much more mature relationship now, especially Machias. 

 

Emma is doing witch and Erebonian lore stuff. And Oliver is with her in his Liberl outfit, I feel sorry for her. lol 

 

Gaius is basically confirmed as a Gralsritter church member. There were so many theories about it but it actually turned out true. I wonder how much the church will be involved in this game. It could potentially put Gaius against his old class at some point. Also, I want to see Ein bullying Toval around in game form. :D

 

Millium still looks and feels the same which is always a good thing for me. :D

 

 

 

Finally, I can rest easy now. I was worried for a moment that they'll only be cameos.

I've been playing Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force and surprisingly, i'm liking and enjoying it a lot. I wish the game overall is a little more polished but i can live with it. The world building and story is very typical and cliche and it's not what i usually look for but it's okay. I like the Fairize feature, it kind of reminds me of djinns from Magi and the song that accompany it is cool. Nothing really special about the characters, but idk, i find them fun and enjoyable. :D I really like Tiara a lot and Ethel... well, she's adorable. lol

 

 

 

But how the heck do you get Ethel in your party? I saw her as playable in a gameplay video i watched before but she just died in mine. I wonder if I have to do the evil route to get her. I want to kill people with her. :3

i would only want the single player story content for FF XV but I don't mind trying out the multiplayer with my friends

I got to play Dragon Quest 11 for a little bit at my brother's place. Wow, the game is pretty good. First time I've played a Dragon Quest game. I didn't know about it but i've seen many people praising the game, so I wanted to give it a try. I'm not really into games with pure fantasy setting anymore but the visuals are beautiful! Too bad I wasn't able to understand what's going on with the story since there's no voiced dialogue which is weird... the only other thing I didn't really like is that I find the MC dude so annoying looking lol... i'm getting this game when it comes out in the west next year :D

 

also got to try out Blue Reflection and it's such a cute and adorable game... it's like a magical girl Persona <3 i'm definitely getting this one when it comes out too... i think it comes out in the west some time this fall but i already have Sen III to play so i'll save this after the fall semester

I've finally been playing the Trails in the Sky arc and I just finished the first 2 games. I can't help but start SC immediately after I finished FC. Damn Falcom and their ruthless endings. lol 

 

I like Estelle but I didn't really get into her and Joshua's story that much and I don't find Liberl as interesting as Erebonia, Crossbell, and Calvard. Overall, it was still an A+ world building as usual, a thrilling adventure, and Joshua's past connections kept me interested. Also, Oliver's antics kept me amused. It's a shame I already know of his true identity having already played CS. 

 

And damn, any mentions about Erebonia's Chancellor Osbourne and the infamous social conflict between Erebonia's nobility and commoners gave me a lot of feels. Already foreshadowed years before CS came out. It even makes me more hyped about the inevitable Calvard games. You rarely hear about Calvard without "Eastern immigrants," "Far east influences," "anti-immigration extremists" being mentioned. These are just the sort of relatable stuff that resonates well within me like Erebonia's social class conflict.

the old class 7 looks so badass! It's only 1-2 years timeskip but they've grown up and all <3

 

 

 

i'm warming up to the new characters now! i like Juna a lot, she's cute! and it looks like she and Kurt will have a cute relationship going on about them. :P Ash seems more interesting than I thought and Musse is creeping me out even more 

 

the part with the Ironbloods is so badass and heartbreaking at the same time... from CS1, i knew this was bound to happen at some point but I really don't want to fight Claire and Millium </3

 

it looks like Fie vs Shirley is going to be a thing throughout the game... so hyped watching them fight on top of a high speed moving train 

 

at the end of the trailer, Juna is all over Rean screaming to give back Crossbell... that's interesting... it could mean so many things :3

 

also, Aurelia is playable and Oliver is finally playable again! that brings a total of 22 playable characters

 

 

 

if you ever play Sky, try getting one that allows turbo speed because the combat gameplay is slow... like really, really slow... i turbo speed my way through all the grinding and all battles other than boss fights lol

 

 

 

 

also, anyone knows what happened with youtube videos on this forum? they're not working anymore, it's just blank... even the youtube videos in profile doesn't work as well

Finished Sky the 3rd! It turned out to be my favorite game in the arc despite it not being the traditional Kiseki game. Kevin and Ries are easily my favorite characters of the Liberl arc. The church's Gralsritter is as awesome and mysterious as Ouroboros tbh. I loved viewing all the Moon Doors and Star Doors. They did a better job making me like Schera and Klose than the entirety of FC and SC. lol

 

This game has so many spoilers and foreshadowing for future games (inc CS3) especially Oliver's star door.

 

 

Oliver and Mueller have massive death flags... most likely Mueller. Both of them definitely won't make it back to Liberl and see the moon in that place again. </3

    

Lechter telling Osborne he's probably going to betray him at some point and Osbourne not really giving a fuck about his warning. lol CS3 should reveal who Lechter really is. He's one of the most mysterious character so far.

I already knew Juna was going to be my favorite new character but I didn't see this coming.

playing Ys 8 and it's been pretty awesome so far... i think i'm going to be addicted to all Falcom games from now on. I need the specific release date for Tokyo Xanadu ex+ too. 

 

first time trying out a Ys game... fortunately, it works okay enough as a stand alone game and i don't really need to know the content of previous games unlike the Kiseki series

I hope Tokyo Xanadu is good. Some footage i've seen makes it look meh but other look like it could be good. 

 

All Ys games are standalone. The story doesn't even matter in the game honestly. You play them for the action and the awesome music. Though i did hear that Ys VIII is the Kiseki of the Ys game and they tried to have more story in it. I'm definitely going to be getting it but i'm still trying to catch up with the Kiseki series. Currently playing CS2 and I still need to play Sky 3rd too. 

 

Yeah, most Kiseki and Falcom people I follow says it's either the best or 2nd best Ys game in terms of story so I'm looking forward to it. I'm still currently on chapter 2. 

 

As for TX, their reactions are mixed from okay to good. I played the demo when I got a Japan PSN a few weeks ago and it seems interesting. It's already out on the Vita but I'd rather wait for the PS4's ex+ version. At least, the visuals are almost on par with CS3. And Aksys needs to fix those embarrassing name typos and translation errors too. I've seen too many of them. lol
