I don't have an xbox one myself so i'm not certain about some things but I heard Dan from giantbomb talking about trying to do this with his gf on a podcast one time. Supposedly you can do it. You have to set the xbox one to being the Home console or something like that. And then use the Family Share feature to basically create a new account that will have access to games that were purchased on the the main account. If you don't make a new account, it won't let you run the game because you are technically already running it just on a different system. 

 

You log into the game with the main account on pc and your dad logs into the game with the newly created account on the xbox. This should work from what i've heard. Whether or not the new xbox one account requires xbox live or not i have no idea. I don't know if all accounts need xbox live or if just one account with xbox live on the console works for all accounts on it. 

Thanks for the advice here. When I was just about to do it just now, realised that it was only for digital games :( disc based games don't do it     but thanks you for telling me. Will consider telling my dad about this if he decides to buy another  game for Xbox one.

In a way EA shot themselves in the foot releasing both Titanfall 2 + Battlefield 1. I really don't understand. Who on earth would release two blockbuster games at the same time like.

 

As for Titanfall. It's good. I played the first one for a bit but didn't really get into it. The story is lacklustre but online. It's really decent.

But than your having people decide on B1 and T2. If you were a die hard EA supporter than it would just rip your wallet in half. Seeing the holiday coming up. some gamer (especially the younger audience) might be torn having to pick one or the other.but I guess profit is profit whichever way you look at it.

 

 

Also Star Wars battlefront 2 was announced or rumoured up. I want Kotor so much more

What on earth did I just watch, thinking Rouge was too relax and than Shadow owning Sonic and finally Silver       also going to be watching Sonic Boom, heard it was better than the game

 

Also completed code realise guardians of rebirth,  my first ever otome game. Man I just fell in love with each and everyone of the male casts. From their voice acting to the way they were portrayed, Even the villains I cared for. 

 

 

The art style        got my seventh platinum

Nah, I still have the first trails of the sky game on PSP that I can't get into no matter how much I tried so cold steel probably isn't for me

Oh really? What aspect can you not get into? The graphics or....? I'm still waiting for it to go on sale in the steam store before picking it up or if it will ever go back onto the psn store for my vita. :(

Just the battle system I guess, don't really like the hybrid tactics/turned based gameplay, either one or the other is preferable imo. Story was slow too but I understand these games have a slow start but yeah everytime I try to go back I forgot where I was up to and then the gameplay just makes me not wanna play again lol

Hmm hybrid gameplay? I'm not one to complain if the story is good. Sounds like they use the same one in the trails of cold steel. Lol. Is like you have to go though it all in at once to enjoy it fully.

yea Trails in the Sky's combat is basically Cold Steel if you take out the assist/follow up stuff. But it is more tactical and your position and attack range matters. It's not too tactical though. It's just enough to make you have to think and move around instead of bunching your characters up and getting hit with an AOE.

 

And yea the games are very slow and dialogue heavy. I love the series but definitely understand why others won't like it. I think Cold Steel might be more accessible than Sky though. So might be worth a try when it gets cheaper or something.

 

Also Ys Seven is awesome~ I bought all the Ys games on steam but only the newer ones have the party system and that's more fun to me than just Adol by himself.

I heard they were all part of each other. Would you recommend it to someone who isn't a big fan of the tactical. I've played Fire emblem fates if that means anything. /: Just like to see the story unfold. I for one love how the pacing for trails of cold steel was. And don't mind the slow pace.

If you liked Cold Steel you will like Sky. The main difference would be the school aspect isn't there in Sky. So no bonding events or school festivals. And also the lack of follow up attacks and rush attacks like i said before.

 

It is very light on the tactical part so dont' let that scare you. I kinda regret calling it tactical now. It's just grid based. It plays exactly the same as Cold Steel just 2d. You know that circle in Cold Steel showing your range and who you can attack? Just change that to a grid instead and that's Sky. I only said tactical because it's not as easy as Cold Steel fights take a little longer and you actually have to move.

 

Sky takes place before Cold Steel. Every time characters in Cold Steel mentioned Liberl or events that happened 2 years ago, they are talking about the Sky games. That's how they are connected. You might also see a familiar face

 

a visual (Sen no Kiseki are the Cold Steel games and the Crossbell saga hasn't been translated yet and Xseed might skip them but who knows)

I heard in trails of cold steel 2. It's the same thing. (seen some gameplay since I'm thirsty for it). The part with no school elements. Don't really mind it since it kinda did drive it a bit slower than i hope. Sounds a bit like chess XD. and i can actually pictures it more. At least how your describing it. Yeah I'll definitely be getting it. Hopefully black Friday deals on steam if not Christmas sales. Would love to learn about what happened prior to the events of cold steel and if i recall they did say a lot about their lore, history and background. How it shaped.

 

I even remember in cold steel how I thought I hated a character but instead love them and cared so much for the cast. The writing just drove with me.

Well darn. Just when i thought they couldn't get even more greedier by selling mankind divided with micro transaction. This seems leaps above it. Looks like I'll get FFXV goty edition if they do it and want more profit. That way i don't need all this. Hell I'm thanking them for doing this. Not getting FFXV at all until later using the money on persona 5

Edit; I'm in love with it so far so good. Played it for one and a half hour and I'm just back into it now.

I saw news that Falcom's earning reports said that Cold Steel 1+2 sold over 900k copies world wide up till September 2016. That is amazing and way higher than i thought because i don't think the Sky games sold that well. They were originally on psp though. CS being 3d also probably helps. Hopefully this convinces Xseed to localize the Crossbell games. Also saw that CSIII is aiming for a September 2017 release.

So glad that the CS series are selling well. CSIII I will guess it may take another 2 years for us in the west. I want the Crosbells games as well though.   also is there any news for trails in the sky 3? Heard they were planning on releasing it worldwide in 2017. Looks like I will just catch up with the skies games before the third comes out 

 

There's also news on CS being on PC and PS4, not surprising since CS3 will more or less be there most up to date game on the latest gen. I just hope vita will continue to have them. I like using my vita as a portable rpg & visual novel machine.   and the fact the skies series is on PC.

my second favourite girl in the game right next to my fav Alisa. Played about 11 hours+ and I'm feeling so much. Is just omg.

Are there any game mechanic changes from 1 to 2?

Not much that I've seen which is new. I'd say they added an overdrive mode healing and giving you all your sp back which allows rean + whoever you are linked with to freeze time for three turns that allows you to deal as much damage also your arts are instant casts. I just use that during boss fights.

 

You have trail chest as well that gives you a challenge of two characters (usually two members of class 7) complete them and you can use overdraft with them. Their a bit tough but I'm just playing easy to get the full immerse story of it.

 

Oh and If you completed the first cold steel game than

mech battle. remember Valimar? Rean VS Crow. There's a bit more in the game but one interesting new thing they added is allowing you to choose and change a member of class 7 to help with healing or boosting your attack or defensive or even skill.

 

I've also heard not seen yet but the game is more open to you. Meaning you can go anywhere you want. Unsure where that part goes into play but I'm pretty sure I'm not that far off until then.

 

You also have your typical dungeon bit of a jrpg. But their scattered throughout the game.

 

Cold steel 2 is so good. Highly recommended it. Only problem is the frame rate drops on the vita version. but other than that then it's so good.

Overdrive sounds OP as hell lol. Though there was a quartz in the first game that basically lets you get infinite turns or as long as you have items to heal sp. So not completely surprising haha.

 

Yea i kinda expected the part under the spoiler. It had to play a role going forward after what happened in 1. Can you explain the second part of the spoiler more though? You get to choose your assist manually now? It felt like i rarely got an assist to boost arts in the first game. Happened maybe 2 or 3 times ever.

Overdrive takes a few battle to charge up (usually from what i seen 5 to 6 battle) though i bet there's a quartz that allows for it to charge up much faster. It's not like your cp that adds up during each turn.

 

 

 

I've only played one or two battles with the robot but. Valimar is op man. His hp is just beyond a normal mech. I'm so looking to kick Crows ass with him. I need to for what he caused me in the first game OTL my heart still hurts from the first game. Also I'm not just talking about your boost arts. It's the fact your members of class 7 gives you boost if you let them use their arts. For example Fie gives you speed boost (if you activate it) that allows you to get more turns. Your class members gives you an extra turn. To heal or cast an art more related to their own skills

 

Edit: just read that you gain 30% of hp ep and cp back with overdrive. I just never bothered using it when I'm low on hp. Just use it at the start of every boss battle to boost my entire party with Rean and Elliot.

 

 

One more thing i forgot. You can level up your quartz slot level.

To be honest most games will not be on vita, pretty sure it will die after another year or two unless said otherwise, only thing which is keeping it alive is the JRPG or the visual novels (at least that's what I'm seeing e.g. Root double, Pscyho pass, Danganronpa v3, cold steel series, Ys series, Night of Azure,  and a few more which you can see here http://www.iplaypsvita.com/upcoming-ps-vita-games-2017/

Did they change voice actors, persona 4 golden's Igor I remember had a different voice. But than again Persona 4 did come out such a long time ago.

I'm aware of that, however it's a Miku game. Even the most recent one was released on the dead Vita. It's kinda a stab in the back to stop releasing Miku games on Vita. I'm really struggling to get PS4 just for two games that I'm interested in. Edit: Rather get Switch <3

You don't even need to recruit demons in Innocent Sin, the starters are strong enough to get you through the game. Eternal Punishment is a different story.

It looks so good omg, so glad I preordered it already and the fact it has Japanese voice acting.. My life is complete with that game + trails in the skies 3, my 2017 looking like a year full JRPG's already going to be spending over 100 hours just with those two. and than we have Kingdom hearts + Danganronpa 1 & 2 remaster for PS4. & Mass effect Andromeda
