I loved Arkham Knight too, only the tank sections really annoyed me especially towards the end and lack of good boss battles aswell compared to past entries, felt like they shoehorned too much of the Batmobile into the game just for the sake of it but everything else was pretty awesome especially the Joker parts :chu:

As for the ending..

My take on it is that because Bruce was unmasked as the Batman, he no longer struck as much fear into criminals as they know he's a man so he had to 'die' in order to become something more fearful again and the fear gas was used by Bruce on those criminals so to strike terror on them again that they used to feel for Batman

The DLC isn't too bad either but a bit short~

I can't help but agree. The tank section and just when you thought the

batmobile it's destoeyed Batman has a new one ...... Which is improved and upgraded too.

I didn't mind it much but. Seriously who brings a tank to a stealth simulation. I remember having to run and hide against killer croc, playing that horror scarecrow uses against you and even fighting joker was really fun back in the old games. But they really just shoved it down your throat. Also the arkham knight was very predictable.

Hmmmm I hope we get something from the developer (hopefully not broken on PC) that will really tell us what going on. Or even some type of footage from them.

Thankfully I have all of the dlc. So I can see what happens after. Harley Quinn story dlc O.O

Oh and I wanted more of harely but in

joker fear. You see her sobbing. My feels

Also how did you find the Riddler mission?

when you have to get the keys and save catwomen

Well danganronpa 1&2 reload special edition just got announced for EU. I hope it comes to the UK though

Well, I finished Child of Light. It's a really nice short rpg. Probably took me around 10 hours. It seems like a pretty easy game to platinum, too.

that game doesn't have a platinum trophy. I think /:

I think when I'm finished my PS plus this year (ending in Feb 2017) I'll end my subscription. Honestly there's like only 3/4 games of 2016 that I actually like or greatful for and they are Journey (still need to play it), Transformers Deveastion (same as journey), Grim Fandango Remastered (already own it on PC but glad they gave us it on ps4/ps3 and Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth (the only one I've actually played that was on PS+ (never would had played it if it wasn't for it being "free" this month. Been with them ever since I had my ps4 but the fact it didn't really do much for me personally. I'm waving the white flag. If they manage to capture my attention like how they did with code realize, freedom wars, flower, than I might. But so far I don't play online + the games that are there is not in my interests.

Though I did save some money on those 4 games which is = too the PS+ costs /:

Now that I'm seeing Ps4 pro graphical capabilities I'm more concerned for the Xbox one Scorpio. Their saying that it would produce 6 "teraflops" but even with 4 on the ps4 pro. It still lacks in comparison to the Gtx 1060 6gb. Slightly worser then the 1060 3gb. And if both are saying "4k" their not up to par with Nivida graphical capability. Are people going to be buying another ps4/Xbox after another 2 years (more likely 3 depending on how fast GPU improves and the games) When a console generation is about 6 to 7 years. Or are we getting a ps5? Xbox two (?)

Yeah, I think they will have incremental upgrades like this as the AMD processor which is both inside the consoles get more efficient rather than outing a PS5 and Xbox2.

Both ps4 pro and xbox 1 scorpio still lacks 4k gaming capability and true support for VR heavyweights like oculus and Vibe. PS4 VR are just dumb down to be even compared to Vibe/PC. So i think they will wait for this tech to mature and have the next generation of GPU's be more capable in the low end before jumping to the next generation of console.

AMD is known to be really slow to optimisie their components. Going back to the ps3 and xbox 360 and looking at the end. There was a few games that looked insanely beautiful back when they were at the peek of their life cycle. I just wonder how far the ps4 pro and Xbox would go until Sony and Microsoft decides to jump gun to the next gen. The thing with oculus and HTC vr is the fact that they need mid to high end PC components. You can build a desktop to run true at 1080 just on the vr specs for 750 USD. And not to mention the console still running 30fps at 4k whereas (from what I know) more people prefer games that run and more stable fps. Deus ex was poor on the console ends and the ps4 was still having a haed time getting 20+ let alone 60 or stable 30 constant dips. So with the ps4 pro going into 40 to 50 (estimate). Though that could just be poor optimisation yet even on PC it was hard to run x.x

Another question is just how long will this console generation last if there is constant upgrades

It's funny how much people think the first Red Dead game was Red Dead Redemption. Even some gaming news outlets refer to the possible next game as Red Dead Redemption 2 when technically it would be Red Dead 3 since Red Dead Revolver was the first game.

Lol I know right. But redemption really has is own followers so is no surprise a lot of people disregard revolver. But their right in saying redemption 2. Whereas if it was "red dead..... 3". Both would be the third one in the game franchise and series. When redemption 2 is the redemption series. Edited by Neo Galaxy

Well I just finished planetarium the reverie of a little planet and the ending was pretty sad, my hearts aches for the end..

Yumemi

the visual novel was pretty short. Done it in 5 hours, though I did play it and drop it and than picked it back up again. Could have done it in 4 I think. The visual novel was short, sweet and impressive, not much cast which I really preferred. But excellent story telling which is one thing I love about it.

Also did finish one ending of Code realize and that was really really depressing.

Well the switch "hand held" battery life is rumoured to be 3 hours (guessing this would be with full brightness and WiFi/data and other thing's) but darn.....

Source: http://www.technobuffalo.com/2016/10/21/nintendo-switch-battery-life-rumor/

If this is true then how is it portable? O.o

Also is no backwards compilable. So for people buying it. They'll have to buy the game again.

That's pretty much in line with most modern devices tbh, don't think my 3DS and phone even lasts that long but yeah if it's just gonna be enhanced ports of Wii U games, I'm not gonna buy them again except for the ones I don't have like Zelda or Splatoon

Eh what? 3ds is said

New 3DS XL – 5 hours 45 minutes

New 3DS – 5 hours 23 minutes

3DS XL – 5 hours 01 minutes

2DS – 4 hours 36 minutes

3DS – 4 hours 05 minutes

On Sony's side the Vita is said to get

six hours of intense gaming out of the Vita Slim the original one was 4 hours

Source: http://www.trustedreviews.com/ps-vita-slim-2014-review#doSBi3PyZSeuVXQG.99

I can play Pokemon go for over 3.5 hours (on my old phone) without needing a charge /: and that's a heavy game itself (considering it needs maps+ data + game so it uses a lot of memory, cpu and your gpu on the phone) a normal game pulling only gpu and some of the cpu would only go up to 4 hours at least.

Where the Switch is at 3 hours it's just what the heck. There Ds were and are still the best to this date.

But if your saying a gaming laptop than I guess that's aright but we need to take into consideration that a gaming laptop is much more on the heavy front compared to a gaming console/handheld

Now they are all rumours don't want to get the Nintendo hardcore fans a heartache on it but seriously if it is as poor as that. Than how on earth would people take it out and about?

I have no idea what Nintendo is doing with the GPU performance of the Nvidia X1 chip, not even close to the Xbox one ATI GPU.

"It's in line with the Nvidia shield"

that means it's going to be up their with their 3ds. So is Nintendo going to sacrifice their 3ds handheld system market? Cause that's just suicidal for a company where their not hitting profitable margins. Well at least we finally have a console that has Nvidia own gpu in them O.o

Nintendo Switch price in the US?

In the US, the only indication we’ve had on price has come from credit-rating agency Macquarie, which thinks the console could retail for between $300 and $350

The agency took this price as an indication that the console might struggle, since it’s a price that’s comparatively higher than what we’ve come to expect from Nintendo in the past.

Nintendo Switch price in the UK?

Our only indication of how much the console might cost in the UK has come from a listing that was made on Tesco’s online store before being quickly removed.

According to Tesco, the new console is expected to cost £349.99 in the UK, but there are a couple of reasons why you might want to take this with a pinch of salt.

The first is the fact that, as mentioned, the listing was taken down very quickly after it was noticed, indicating that it might not have been final.

The second is the fact that the release date that accompanied the listing, December 31 2016, is a far cry from the March 2017 release date that Nintendo itself has mentioned, which suggests that whoever made the Tesco listing isn’t as knowledgeable as we might have hoped.

Nintendo Switch price in Australia?

So far we haven’t heard any Australia-specific Nintendo NX price rumors, but based on the rumors above the console could cost anywhere from AU$390 to AU$560.

Bear in mind that the upper price is only so high because of how exceptionally weak the British pound is right now, so in reality the console’s price is likely to be closer to AU$390.

The Nintendo Switch's Competition Isn't The PS4 Or Xbox One, It's The iPad

http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2016/10/21/the-nintendo-switchs-competition-isnt-the-ps4-or-xbox-one-its-the-ipad/#13b81d0d3135

Would not be surprise if Nintendo loses interest in competing with the console front but just with the tablet since mobile gaming is becoming a huge norm lately.

I didn't know using my phone while charging it deteriorated the battery. I will remember not to do that with the Switch, if I ever get it.

Since i can't afford a gaming pc, I'm wondering if I should buy a handheld console or a home console, knowing that I don't have a TV in my room  :unimpressed: and i'm not that into jrpg

ANY batteries for an electronic device will get degraded over time, if you unplug it from the wall often than it's best not to touch it. In my case, having a gaming laptop. I kept it on charge just to maximise it as the cells in the battery did not degrade when I use it. I'm pretty sure a lot of the handheld that people have has lost some of it's battery life when their using it. It's often the case for all electronics.

If you don't have a TV in your room I highly suggest a 3DS would be the better option if you are choosing between the 3ds and vita. 3DS seems to be more for the causal gamer. You have Mario to Zelda to Hyule warriors to smash bros, pokemon fire emblem and much much more. Plus it's not too expensive to get one compared to a home console in which you'd need to get a TV for. Vita I'm using as my portable visual novel machine XD and it's more for JRPG's some which are coming soon to the West and others are planned for them. Just don't expect to see any first parties from Vita.

Otherwise wait for the switch and you can play some of the Wii U's remaster on the handheld of the switch though it might be very expensive even for a Nintendo console.
