How are you guys finding the Switch?

 

I'm still getting used to using it kek...but Zelda is truly so beautiful

Virtual Console is bear, but other than that I love it, the screen looks great, Zelda is beautiful, and tomorrow me and my little sister are playing Bomberman~ they need to hurry with Virtual Console though, not even Super Mario Bros is on there =/ also, I hope they let us transfer our previous purchases for free, paying for it at a discounted cost was bullshit on Wii U

Zelda truly is beautiful, the Graphics, the World, the music, how dynamic everything is, everything has meaning and exploration which leads to satisfying results. It's honestly a masterpiece, I've been playing Zelda Games for a decade and must say it is one of the best yet, I can easily see myself sinking 100+ hours into it. 

 

I haven't even explored the other games yet, but I tried 1, 2 Switch, it's fun, can definitely see it being handy at social events, but I'm not all that impressed with it, also I think I prefer to play the Switch Handheld >>> wbu?

 

& yeah, I also hope they can transfer over releases, but it's nintendo here lol, let's see~

 

yesterday i read on the newspaper that the Wii was a Hit, but the Wii U flopped (compared to the sales of the Wii)

i didn't know about that 

The wii sold 100 millions aprox

and the Wii u 13 millions (which is a lot too but, probably not what Nintendo expected) 

 

i Wonder how much will the Switch Sell

 

It's a pretty well known fact that the Wii was successful, it was really popular amongst Casual Gamers.

Kind of disappointed with the Switch when it plays as a console on my TV, it's fine handheld but I've been experiencing drops in framerate, and the left Joycon occasionally randomly switches off, also the screen is plastic and it's already beginning to scratch when I place it in the Dock.

can I ask a game player: how long does a session last? 

 

I'm talking about a game like Overwatch, I'm unfamiliar with all things game-related, but I'm curious how much time does one player need?

I game around 1-2 hours a day but I've been addicted to Persona, Nier Automata & Zelda so I'm gaming a lot more these days.

A typical session for me is usually an hour or so, followed by a break. When my bf hosts game nights with our friends, we play games all night long lol, depends on the situation and game.

I finally completed Zelda yesterday and don't know what to do with myself now. I guess I will go all in on Persona 5. o/ But yeah, it's high up there as one of my favourite games of all time, despite noticing certain flaws. The highs just make up for them and then some for me. I can't wait to see how the develop on this new formula in the future. I will go back to it to complete side quests and stuff that I never got around to finishing, and post-game stuff, but I'm going to let it rest for a while for now.

 

I also got Mario Kart 8 Deluxe yesterday and the battle mode is lit. My favourite modes are Renegade Roundup and Shine Thief so far.

Mario Kart 8 is so good, I am hooked. I still haven't finished Zelda, but have fun playing Persona 5, playing both at the same time currently lol

I was playing them both together too haha. They're both so different that it actually worked out well for me, even though they're both big games. I was always in the mood to play one or another.

 

We should play battle mode together online sometime. ^^

Everyone is on their second playthrough of Persona 5 and I'm still half way through the first lol, I'm reaaaally trying to stretch the game out as much as I can because I know I'm gonna be depressed when I finish it (even though I can play it again) lol

Nier Automata is the best video game OST this year tbh. Haven't even played the game myself yet but i haven't heard anything else that's even close, not even P5. The only thing that i can see challenging it is the OST for the new FFXIV expansion because FFXIV music is usually pretty damn good too. 

Agreed, XIV OST is beautiful.

 

 

 

 

 

I really like these songs, because they feel majestic and calming.

 

Persona had my favorite OST of the year (so far) followed by Nier & then Zelda BOTW, I may be biased because I love Jazz music.

I'm 70 hours into P5 and just finished the 5th palace. About how much do i have left? I have this week off and would like to try to beat it this week if it's possible. 

In terms of hours, I finished the game at around 107, Since you've just finished the 5th Palace you still have some way to go.

 tbh and there's way too many QTEs but it looks so good otherwise

Yakuza 0

Fire Emblem Echoes

 

But overall have to give it to Zelda and I don't see that changing for the rest of the year unless Mario Odyssey turns out super amazing and I can already tell next year DBFZ will be one of my top games, it just looks so good

A lot of people really seem to love Yakuza 0, I need to buy it tbh

You should!  I never played a Yakuza game before and it's so much fun, think GTA but set in Japan with martial arts and ridiculous minigames and sidequests haha

This year has had too many great games and I'm still so far behind OTL. 

I've heard so many good things about Night in the Woods and it's on my Steam Wishlist, I think I may need to purchase it soon!

Only bought like 5 or 6  2017 games but I have say ;

Nier Automata and Fire emblem Echoes shadows of valentia are my top 2 of 2017, runner up P5 (there were some issues making me question it). I recently got Horzion and Yakuza 0 which I need to play before judging them and getting Splatoon 2 soon  will need to pick up BOTW as well later down the line.

Haven't played Echoes yet, but Nier is truly amazing, my one complaint is that I wished it was longer, I loved it so much I wasn't ready for it to end .__.

And Danganronpa V3 trailer!
