So this year, it turns out I had more money in the bank than I expect, like £200 more, so I decided to treat myself with this! \O/

 

 

 

I haven't gotten it yet but I am SO EXCITED, this is the first time I bought something like this and I wanted this for the longest time, shame it's based of the gross Metroid: Other M, but still, Samus <3

That's pretty awesome If only Nintendo made this high quality of figures then those Amiibo crap, I might actually buy some lol

I'm playing the new Dragonball game on PS4 and it's pretty nice, I'll only recommend it if you're a big fan though, some of the fighting and menu are a bit cumbersome. Still, creating your own character is pretty neat

Yeah, but it was £40-£50 lol I wouldn't have bought any Amiibo's at that price lolol

 

There was also a Zero Suit Samus one but Zero Suit Samus sux, plus it was like £100 lol

I was thinking about getting that one too, it was a fight between that and Samus OTL

 

I made the right choice in the end! I wanted the Samus one much longer, I just hope the Lucina one is in stock for a very long time until I have the money to make an impulse buy like that again.

Haha fair enough, I haven't really played any Metroid games but still think the suit looks sooo sick so you probably made the right choice. Tbh I would've preferred Robin over Lucina anyway, hopefully they bring out more different characters from other games, atm it's just mostly Japanese anime and games

Yeah, I got TLOU with my PS4 but couldn't play through it either, too fricking stressful for me hahahaha. Just read the rest of the story on wiki and traded it in. Horror survival games are just not for me >.<.

 

Super Metroid is available in the Wii U virtual console and it's an amazing game and cheap, play it when you can \O/ Just don't the Metroid: The Other M, it sux and was the only thing that made me not want to buy this Figma (cause this Figma was based of it OTL)

 

I initially wanted this

But it's $300 dollars and sold out OTL

 

And yeah, I would love for more figures, there is also a Link Figma, but his face looks awful and there is a Pit/Dark Pit Figma, but I don't care about them, I would trade an arm and a leg for a Skyward Sword Zelda Figma or a Mario/Peach figma

Daaaamn, that looks sooo sick, I'll assume you'll need a power source though but wow, $300 is a bit much. I could buy a whole new console for that price xD and wow, MKX looks pretty good, not sure if I'll get it though. I loved the single player content MK games have but don't really like the fighting mechanics especially the block button...

I'm playing Bayonetta (the first one) and it's fun but I really wished you could remap the controls as I'm used to the left button being the light attack and up heavy and L button as dodge. Thankfully the second one has remapable control I'm sure so just gonna go through this one quick :P

Watch Dogs is ok, the hacking is actually pretty unique and fun. I haven't finished it but I enjoyed mostly of what I've played of it so far and walking around seeing everyone's job and hacking into their conversations can be pretty funny. I'd say go for it if you like open world GTA sorta style with a unique twist.

Just finished Arkham City, great game Don't really wanna be burnt out too much so I just read the other stories for the other two games and now am ready for Arkham Knight Tbh I think I found it more fun to play as Catwoman as she can be more stealth based plus her moves seem more fluid imo, hopefully you can play as more different characters in Knight~

Arkham City is the only game I liked, Arkham Asylum controlled like ass in comparison and Arkham Origins was big but boring, also if you download Harley's Revenge, you can play as Tim Drake (The 2nd Robin) I haven't played it though and I heard it was rly short.

Oh cool cool, yeah there's crapload of extra content that I didn't even touch during the main story so I'll be sure to check those out soon~ Also got a few Wii games like Ghost Squad and House of the Dead, love me some light gun shooters, reminds me of the arcade days when they used to be really popular

My next purchase will probably be the Borderlands collection game. LOVE the series even if I'm not the best at FPS, the RPG elements and HILARIOUS characters and dialogue always makes me chuckle while I play <3

Yeah I like the game too but tbh if I wasn't such a DBZ fanboy I can see why people might think it's kinda dull. I also really don't really like the hub menu takes too long to get from one place to another. There's should've been a quick menu or at least make us allowed to run around or something lol

Got DKC Tropical Freeze and NSMBU, should arrive in the next week or so, time for some awesome 2D platforming goodness Btw, does anyone here play the Danganronpa series? I really do like it, so many goddamn twists lol

Lol you guys are lucky you don't live here, most of the new release games easily retail for about $79 and ebgames or GameStop as you may know it even put a premium sometimes with high profile releases like the recent DBZ game for like $99 wtf and that's not even the special editions which can easily go over like $120 :/

Welp, I just bought Sleeping Dogs on PSN, couldn't resist that sale, probably the cheapest it'll go for awhile and it's not like Physical copies matter anymore since they all install to the HDD anyway...

 

Also the new PS4 update looks AWESOME! Suspend/resume, 60fps remote play, button remapping! I should reassign the action button to circle to make it more like Nintendo consoles :P

Yo guys, I have the glorious dilemma of being stuck between two games. I don't know which I should get, Super Smah Bros. 4 or Monster Hunster Ultimate 4? Both are for the 3DS btw. Any thoughts on what I should grab first?

If you have a Wii U I recommend getting Smash on that over the 3DS ver otherwise MH would definitely last you longer and it's probably a good idea to get it now while the online is still really active. Both have demos though you can try

I won't be getting Wii U till May so I only have the 3DS version for now. :( Do you play MH?

Hmm I would say just wait till you get a Wii U then for Smash. I literally have not even touched my 3DS ver since I got the Wii U one and nah I don't have MH4. I put over 100 hours on the PSP ones waaay back then but I just don't have the time and patience anymore for those kinda grindy games haha.. (plus I kinda sucked at the game anyway and the demo confirmed it xD)

I am! OMG. I've peeked at some playthroughs and while it's a whole lot different from the visual novel game styles of the 1st and 2nd ones, it looks absolutely fun. I'm excited to play myself, especially since the player character's Makoto's sister.

Haha yeah I was surprised it wasn't a VN either but really, I love the games cuz of the story and twists so hopefully this one will just as good. I'm going to try and avoid everything about the game from the Jap ver so I don't spoiler myself when we finally get it :P

 

I hope Junko isn't the bad guy again tbh, as much as I love her. She's already dead lol

Holy crap, Sleeping Dogs is pretty fun. It's like an asian GTA and instead of shooting, you kung fu the crap out of everyone I even understand some of the Cantonese lmao
