No, but I definitely agree with the laying low.  Make people forget about the rumor and hope that all will pass.

 

It's a good thing there's a solo thread for him now. It's like I can breathe freely here.. >< That wedding rumor had done nothing good for the both of them. They didn't need any rumors of her being pregnant and whatnot. Seriously tho.. I might be being just protective of him but he worked hard and was really private and mindful of his actions.. *sigh* I'm sorry I'm just ranting.   

 

If the rumor is indeed true and there's just miscommunication with both parties and the wedding happens on Dec. then what's the point of this mess.. revealing, denying then happening eventually.

Hello, this is Sungmin.
What words to say first... I thought of it countless times, even just the first sentence.
I wrote and deleted countless times, and while doing that, I could remember the thankful faces..
and their voices more..
I write this letter with a heavy and cautious heart.
Everyone, I met a good person, and will be getting married on 12/13.
Thinking about you guys who received the news suddenly today, my heart aches.
I wanted to give the news to my precious friend, and those who love me, to E.L.F. first, and was thinking about how to say it and when.. Sorry that you guys learned through it first through the news article.
To be honest, before I passed this news, because of the decision I am making, and with thoughts about those who have been with me till now...
There was a lot of time that I conflicted (within myself) a lot and endured it alone.
Not because I was afraid of my decision, but worried how surprised my thankful people will be when they hear this news that they've never experienced before, worried about how they could be hurt.
It's a bit late, but with the courage from your big love and trust in me, I announce this news myself.
I really want to say that I am truly thankful to you guys, who watched me- like a shadow-grow up from nobody and cheered me on.
I am really thankful to those who helped me so far, and members and the company who trust my decision and respect it.
I will continue to work harder from now on, and will become Sungmin-ee who repay your love.

As for enlistment, I agree that Sungmin has a plan. He's a perfectionist. Public service is most likely for him, based on his anemia and previously auditioning for the police promotional unit.

 

From a certain point of view, it makes sense to get married first and then enlist, since that way they can live together openly and not risk getting caught in a scandal, and netizens will have two years to get over it. It's been pointed out several times that he'll  get hate no matter what. Why not go for broke be happy? And she clearly makes him happy.

I feel like I can't be upset...especially when I'm a fairly new fan.  To be upset over something that I'm not entirely all that familiar with, just seems...wack (for a lack of a better word).

Yeah I noticed it changed. And I think his previous signature was beautiful but we can't do anything if he wants to change it. He probably changed it because of all the backlash he got coz of the "signature with Saeun's name".

This fancam is so good Ming's such a pro at interpreting the song and acting in accordance with the mood, he does it 100% of the time in every Super Show. He also does that in album photoshoots too even before joining musicals. He's so awesome at this, definitely the best among all the members. I normally don't watch member-focus fancams but this is a must-watch definitely, thank you!

Kind of intrigued how She Wants It and Midnight Blues look in the bigger picture though, there are so many small details to pay attention to.

Exactly. It's a mix of understanding the song and giving the proper passionate interpretation. This is why, I believe, he likes musicals so much, these are his strongest points afterall. He sings well, dances well, has proper understanding of his character and portrays it well therefore can be a reasonably good actor. Sungmin is just made - and also passionate - for the stage. His multitalents are all what a good musical actor needs to have, I'm not surprised he has these many under his belt.

 

I'm yet to see a fancam or any video of his Vampire performance but I read from fanaccounts that he did marvelousy - surprise, surprise! - and I don't doubt that one bit because he killed it in the teaser alone. His intense facial expressions fit villain roles like a glove.

 

/Ming's hip moves in that MB fancam are killing me too.

I totally am!!!! This is the start of our next chapter with SJ--the truly everlasting part of our promise to them. As hokey as it sounds, we're not losing a member, the boys are gaining a sister. Our boys, who have given their youth and their all for ELF, deserve to be loved and totally happy in their personal lives, and I want to see Heenim's dream of ELF bringing our babies to Super Shows come true.

 

While I'm sure there will be some netizen negativity, there always is. And if K-ELF kick up another stink on the day of the wedding, or close to it, that will just prove that the original issue had nothing to do with their laundry list of weak excuses, and everything to do with a member getting married. 

 

And hopefully there will be one picture of the group together at the wedding (I'm counting on you, Yesung and Siwon). The one upside of Shindong's back issues is that he can be there for Sungmin, his bestie, on his wedding day.
