I have to clarify that I am supportive for all these groups because I love all girl groups before. :D

2014 is not a good year for KPOP but these girls have prepared several years to debut. Let's give supports to them.

One trend that I can see from the list is there are many four-member-groups have debuted this year.

P/s: I will update with other new groups which debut after posting time.

I want to tag all the groups but the limit is only 10. So, I choose the popular ones. :/

January

Seventh Grade Class 1 (Oppa Virus) - Try to listen to this "Oppa" anthem. I love this song. It is for fangirls to sing this to their favorite oppa.

Kiss&Cry (Domino Game) - One of the strong debuts of 2014 but I heard they are disbanded already. I hope it is just a rumor.

Aila (Pretty Pretty Pretty Girl) - Mediocre debut. Hopefully, they can come with better comeback next time.

SwallowTail (Who Am I) - Dark song from new duo in the industry.

February

Lip Service (Yum Yum Yum) - One of the popular debut groups of 2014. Their MV has gained 500,000+ views.

Vetty L (Please Come Back) - Who like old sound of Kpop, listen to this song.

Bebop (I am The Best) - The only Kpop girl group band debut this year. They are pretty good.

M.O.A. (I'll Call Ya) - They have the potential but the debut is dislike by many people. Better comeback next time.

4G (Friends) - One of the groups that debut with ballad song. Listen to this song in the cafe in the rainy day.

Melody Day (Another Parting) - I love this group's voices. :D

1PS (Because I'm a Girl) - They have visuals and voices. One of my favorite debuts this year.

Bubble X (Whistle) - Hip Hop duo. To those who love hip hop, try listen to this.

Fresh Girl (Freshers' Song) - Busker Busker's labelmates. Both of them can play instruments and their voices are lovely.

March

Scarlet (Do Better) - Generic Kpop song and the MV can do better. Hopefully they can "do better" next time (pun intended).

Wings (Hair short) - First Sony Music Entertainment Korea duo. One of the popular debut songs this year. Their official MV already has 500,000+ views.

Billion (Dancing Alone) - The MV and song have 2ne1's vibe in it. I love them.

Badkiz (Ear Attack) - The parody of this song is all around South Korea. You can find it in Youtube. One of the debuts with memorable choreography.

Girl Hood (Darling, Honey, I Love You) - This group caught everyone attention because all of the members are married. The song is so-so for me.

Alice White (Baby Like That) - One of the groups who went to cheerful and innocent concept (which I love). The chorus is memorable.

April

Pritz (Go Girls) - This group's song, MV, and concept looks like one of the J-Pop idols and popular among the gamers because their song is used in one of the popular games in South Korea.

May

Bay.B (Quecera Cera) - Listen to their live voices! One of the talented debuts this year.

Berry Good (Love Letter) - I love these girls from the first time I watched and listened to them. They bring the old Kpop back. :D

Angel in Nurse (Candy Girl) - It is obvious that they target people with nurse-fetish. LOL

Smile.G (DoBiDoBob) - One of the memorable debuts. Who can forget their smiley-face-on-the-butt-side pants?

June

Rosemary (That's What They Say) - One of the underrated debuts. Their song has that American rock-band's vibe.

Bob Girls (No Way) - Crayon Pop's juniors but their song and concept are totally different and I like them.

Mamamoo (Mr. Ambiguous) - One of the contenders for the best girl group debut of 2014. Listen to them and it will not disappoint you.

Ouigee (Taeguk Warriors JJang) - They mix trot and pop in a song. Try to listen to them.

July

Top.ic (See Ya) - "I wanna see ya" part will stick in your mind. :P

Ye-A (Up and Down) - They have to do more than this to stick out among these debuts.

Eve (Mystery Love) - I am confuse because they sing in Chinese not Korean but still count as K-Pop group.

Step Girl (Step Girl) - the only group which use their group name as the debut song title this year and their song sounds cool too.

Lodia (I Got a Feeling) - New EDM girls in town. For the EDM lovers, check them out.

A.Kor (Payday) - They are infamous before their debut but their debut is not that bad. Hopefully, people can forgive them.

Taurine (Wish List) - The only Jazz group among these debuts and the lyrics for their debut songs are very creative. If you want to know, check their music.

August

Red Velvet (Happiness) - My current favorite group and the group that will lead this batch in years to come.

4L (Move) - Believe it or not. The offcial MV of 4L is only behind Red Velvet. They really grab everyone's attentions. :hurr:
4Ten (Tornado) - I love these girls. "You are just like a tomato~" :D

Laboum (Pit a Pat) - One of the groups that has potential to climb up the Kpop's relevancy. Many people including me love them. :)

September

Minx (Why Did You Come to My House?) - The title remind me of Hello Venus. Dal Shabet's juniors and also one of the groups with potentials to become popular.

Aneun Dongsaeng (Oppa, Where Are You?) - Maybe they can try harder next time.

NWhite (Hello Boy) - Another cute and innocent girl group for us. :D

Bikini (Switch) - Yes, we can watch a girl in bikini here.

October

Purfles (1,2,3) - Vocal-wise and MV-wise, one of the best debuts this year.

D.Holic (I Don't Know) - Not so bad. Who love girl group, Rania will love this.

November

Lovelyz (Good Night Like Yesterday) - Bring my J-Pop memories back. I will spend my attention to them too.

November, and December will be updated later.

If I miss somebody, tell me in the comments below (I did not include solos and subunits here).

So I'm just going to talk about the ones I've seen:

Clearly, I think Red Velvet is the best, but I also am incredibly impressed by Mamamoo. In both cases, but especially Mamamoo, I think the sound is different and interesting. I also really like Bob Girls & Berry Good and I LOVED Grade 7 Class 1's "Oppa Virus". I was/am obsessed with that song. I'm looking forward to great things from these groups.

I thought Smile.G's song was good, but I hated the choreo. It seemed really juvenile to me :\ I wish it had been a little more sophisticated. And 4L....that was softcore. That wasn't a k-pop mv.

Yess!

4L....that was softcore. That wasn't a k-pop mv.

I agree with you.

Thanks, op, for compiling this all together. I didn't even know there were so many new groups...that's sad.

I like Mamamoo...their vocal is a killer.

No problem.

Oh my gosh so many groups *__* Can it be that most of them don't even get articles on Allkpop? Did all of them perform on music shows? Because I have only heard of like.. 3 or 4 of these groups o_O

As for my favourite one - obviously Red Velvet :D

Berry Good's Love Letter

I'm someone who likes cute concepts actually, but sometimes it puts me off when it looks "forced" or "overdone" but they pulled it off really nicely. The song is catchy and the girls seem really interesting to watch as well so I'm really rooting for them.
