The Ideal J-Pop Artist Face-off 2013: Round 1; Pairings #3 and #4

It's been nearly a year since I started doing the J-Pop Artist of the Week threads and for fun, they will now face off against each other to determine which is the best out of all of them.

This will also help me determine which type artists to go forward with in the future, but mostly it's just for fun.

 

All you have to do is vote for your favorites!

 

It's okay if you don't know them. You can still participate because you're free to decide which is the best however you like. Be biased or be unbiased. Base your vote on music, live performance ability, or don't do either and just base it off of looks. it's up to you!

 

The pairings for this first round will be switched out every two days for brand new ones, so make sure to vote and then check back! There are 64 artists and 32 pairs total. All pairings are completely random.

Quite fond of both Kanon Wakeshima and Akina Nakamori but Kanon Wakeshima has much more unique and varied material that sets her apart from other soloist. I've never cared much for Yuka Masaki because the majority of her material is incredibly dull and boring. Naoto Inti Raymi on the other hand has a lot of excellent and exciting material underneath his belt. I'm going with Kanon and Naoto!
