Girls’ Generation Sunny’s remarks on an earlier broadcast of her radio show, MBC FM4U “Sunny’s FM Date†have gained attention in light of Jessica’s departure from Girls’ Generation.

 

On a recent broadcast, during her opening statement, Sunny had remarked after reading a listener’s story, “Coming to see something that you cannot see… your heart wanting to hold on to something you cannot hold on to. Love is like that too." Netizens have left comments, wondering if she was thinking of Jessica and the present situation when she made the statement. 

In other news, it was revealed that Sunny’s broadcast for today’s edition of her radio show was pre-recorded as a result of Girls’ Generation’s fanmeeting in Shenzhen, China. Thus, no comments were made regarding Jessica’s departure from the group. On the other hand, TaeTiSeo’s scheduled appearance on KBS “Kiss the Radio†on Thursday was cancelled by SM Entertainment. 

Earlier today, Jessica had commented that she was being kicked out of Girls’ Generation on Weibo. Since then, SM Entertainment has responded with an official statement confirming the speculations. 

In addition to Sunny’s comments, netizens also found an Instagram post made by member Taeyeon, possibly hinting at the departure of Jessica from the group.

seeing as how Jessica was really surprised about her departure (getting ready to go to the fan sign and everything else.) I think her getting cut off was more of a rash decision SM quickly made. If the members knew that Jessica is about to leave then I'm sure jessica would have known too (she signed a 3 year contract and the rumour about her leaving after one album because she's getting married is just that; a rumour - plus we now know they aren't planning to get married, I doubt she knew she was about to leave)

 

 

Let's not over dramatize everything. Maybe Sunny said that because she's been in love before and she was thinking about her relationship. Or, maybe she was thinking of SNSD and how no matter how much they love it it'll have to end one day; It doesn't need to be about jessica specifically, because If everyone truly worked hard enough to make it work, there would not have been a need for jessica to leave.
