The camera angles are suggesting Twelve Janggi, although I can't imagine what kind of items they can make for this game. Maybe the right to choose who goes first...? three items are usually given to each game, can't imagine what the other two might be. maybe undo one move?


poker is a favorite in the finals, Double sided poker is also very probable. although the rules need to be fixed in my opinion, the double bet rule is too off balance. items could be +2 to the number you have, maybe? and additional chips.

Guest participation is probably going to exist like it always did. Betting RPS looks weak, though, the new game might have the guest intervention just like Hap Gyul.

 

 

 

 

(+) Ugh, just noticed another cut in the preview that looks like Memory Maze. I guess it would be easy to make items for this game, like peeking at the map for five seconds or something, but I really don't want to see this game in the Finals... The map balance is too hard to keep. I'm rooting for Hyunmin all the way and I'd hate to see him lose because of the map.



About the guest supporting the finalists... the guests all follow the unspoken rule of evening out the items, so its going to be quality over quantity when it comes to guest support.

Prediction of finalist supports

Juri - Dongmin
Definitely Dongmin. They were the same team the whole time.

Kyunghoon - Dongmin?
I thought he would support Hyunmin because of EP1, but EP11 probably put him off.

Yongsuk - Probably dongmin, but maybe not.
Bc of EP3 I guess he would give it to Dongmin, but since his image is much more important than his personal grudge he might give it to Hyunmin as a peace offering or sth.

Hweejong - Dongmin
Another definite. They were strong allies and Hweejong was betrayed quite a lot by Hyunmin. Hweejong is very honest when it comes to personal feelings, so...

Sujin - Dongmin
Pretty sure, but if four players all support Dongmin she might give it to Hyunmin to even things out.

Junghoon - probably Hyunmin
He wont be there so he wont be able to even things out. He mentioned some past troubles? in Ep1, and looked closer to Hyunmin anyway.

Jongbeom - Hyunmin
Pretty sure. He's sorry about his betrayals and they look close.

Ahyoung - Hyunmin
The way she gave all her garnets to Hyunmin probably means shes gonna support him. especially since the early guests all support Dongmin...

Youhyun - Even things out
He was closer to Dongmin than Hyunmin, but he was mostly neutral anyway and at this point they even things out. Probably Hyunmin will have less items (very likely since he has less garnets) so Hyunmin.

Yeonjoo - Even things out
She was probably closer with Hyunmin, opposite of Youhyun, but she was also very neutral. Probably Hyunmin.

Yeonseung - Even things out
Also has a bias towards Hyunmin, probs, and he'll most likely be able to make 6:6 by giving it to Hyunmin.


Dongmins alliances were eliminated early, so we'll probably see an onesided support at first. Id like to predict Ep1 to Ep5 eliminees (Dongmin) vs Ep6 to Ep11 eliminees (Hyunmin) but they probably wont do this because of the unspoken rule of 6:6. The off balance shows too openly and this definitely pressures the guests.

Final Prediction for Ep 12.

 

 

 

JDM to take the win with a last minute upset which blindsided Hyunmin. (If the ep 12 preview is anything to go by)

 

 

 

 

 

Honestly the previews are mainly BS... They showed Yeonseung and Dongmin fighting each other like some grand battle in the preview for EP06 and look how that turned out. The previews are getting a bit more honest in recent episodes, I guess, but I'm still not believing the preview. If anything, I should probably believe the exact opposite of the previews...

My guess is the guests will give the extra item to Dongmin since Hyunmin is a better game performer, so 6 for Dongmin and 5 for Hyunmin. I speculate the 6 for Dongmin will come from Nam Hweejong, Yoo Sujin, Kang Yongsuk, Kwon Juri, Kim Yoohyun and Kim Kyunghoon. I noted that Yoohyun had some kind of weird obsession for Dongmin hence the guess. The guests probably already discussed beforehand who to give to to even out the games, like in previous seasons. 

 

 

 

 

 

but Dongmin has more garnets so he already has an extra item. Dongmin:Hyunmin=5:6 will make it fair. This is kind of stupid because more garnets were supposed to be an advantage, but it's become a disadvantage because the items are evened out anyway and more garnets only mean one less guest supporting you. Meh.

really evil lol, they didn't want to give a lot as prize money I guess? The director got back a lot of garnets, the final prize is only 60 garnets! (Dongmin 26+ Hyunmin 12+Yeonseung 22) considering that they gave away a whopping ten garnets in EP10 they're not short on money... I guess the directors weren't expecting the players to be this reckless with garnets. Especially with Hyunmin practically giving up all his garnets towards the end...

 

Yoohyun is practically runner up this season, he got nine thousand dollars with almost pure luck. considering the fact that the real runner up doesn't get anything, not even a nice ending like TOP3 eliminees, it's pretty nice I guess. I mean, runner ups get totally overshadowed by the winner.

honestly was not very happy with betting RPS. The items alone are op enough, but the difference in information is too hard to overcome. I know Im terribly biased towards Hyunmin but really? This was as bad as S1 finals where Kyungran got beaten by Jinho's guests. Geez. I thought the items would be 7 to 4 at the most but 8 to 3 was cruel. :( That said, Dongmin still deserves the win, he was good in round 2 and 3.
