Jung Yong Hwa Shares His Newfound Respect For Dance Artists - Soompi

n July 19, Jung Yong Hwa shared his experiences behind making his new mini album and said, “Usually, it takes me a long time to finish recording a song because I always have to go back and fix little details. However, this time, I just decided to go for it and focused more on the overall feel of the song.â€

 

He also continued, “After I finished making ‘That Girl’, someone in my company suggested that I dance to it because it’s a pretty upbeat song. At first, I thought that dancing didn’t suit me, so I compromised and agreed to dance for only small parts of the song. When it came time to shoot the music video, I was extremely nervous and now, I have so much respect for dance artists.â€

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Opens Up About Being Suspected Of Insider Trading - Soompi

On the June 20 broadcast of tvN’s “Life Bar,†Jung Yong Hwa revealed, “[When I was caught up in all of it], I was having all sorts of thoughts. I had never experienced anything like it before.â€

 

Last year, Jung Yong Hwa was suspected for insider trading when he acquired 400 million won (approximately $347,000) worth of FNC stocks, with which he made a profit of 200 million won (approximately $173,400) when FNC recruited a major celebrity shortly afterwards. After undergoing a prosecution inquiry, Jung Yong Hwa was acquitted of charges.

 

On “Life Bar,†Jung Yong Hwa said, “I am so sorry to the people around me, and am particularly sorry to my mother.â€

 

Jung Yong Hwa, who left for Paris soon after the incident to film a drama, continued, “I’m so grateful for those who believed in my innocence and allowed me to continue on with my work. I know people might see this as a bad thing, but during that time I just stayed at home to avoid facing the issue. I just hated the fact that I was mixed up in all of this.  I threw myself into my work, so I didn’t have any friends at the time.â€

 

Jung Yong Hwa finished by stating, “As these shocking events were unfolding, I felt so sorry and thankful towards the fans and people around me who believed in me. I have realized that there are many times I have forgotten to be grateful and have needlessly gotten annoyed at my busy schedule. However, because of these events, I have found myself to be truly thankful again.â€

In a recent episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,†Jung Yong Hwa appeared as a guest and performed his new solo track “That Girl,†in which he incorporated dancing for the first time.

 

 

 

 

After the performance, the singer claimed that he is the best dancer in CNBLUE. He said, “The members have acknowledged my dancing skills.â€

 

He also shared that he was excited to make his entrance from the audience during his performance, saying, “It was the last wish for my 20s to appear from the audience. I feel like I accomplished something.â€

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Shares How His View Of Music Rankings Has Changed - Soompi

 

 

 

 

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa recently appeared on the August 5 episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,†where he opened up his latest release.

 

He first performed his latest title track, “That Girl,†and entered the venue from behind the audience. After the song ended, the singer revealed, “It was my wish [to start that way]. So, I asked the producers for a favor.â€

 

During the subsequent interview, Jung Yong Hwa shared his thoughts on music rankings, and how his reaction has changed.

 

“In the past, I thought I had failed if I didn’t place first. Once, I released music and it placed 13th. I really thought it was a failure,†Jung Yong Hwa confessed. “Now, I’m feeling thankful for the very fact that I can pursue music. I’m really happy.â€

Park Jin Young inquired, “Let’s say you were on a date, and those photos were released to the media. Would you coolly reveal to the public that you’re dating, or would you try to cover it up as much as possible?â€

 

 

 

 

Jung Yong Hwa responded, “I would cover it up as much as possible.†As to the reasons why, he shared, “I have [to think about] my fans and the woman [i’m dating]. For everything to be harmonious, that’s what I would do.â€
