The D day has finally came. The day to enjoy, to feel, to celebrate, to live the LOVE BETWEEN CNBLUE and US, all reunited at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. After the release of the mini-album 7°CN, CNBLUE finally met their fans for two awesome and unforgettable nights on June 3rd and 4th in their own country more than one year after the last tour Come Together in Korea.

The venue was smaller than Jamsil Indoor Stadium. So the standing zone seemed to be very crowded. The standing zone was separated by an extension stage. On the main stage, there were long high screens and a big circle on the middle and two high screens on a circle at each side as well.

​Same as in Tokyo two weeks ago for Spring Live Shake!Shake!, there was an opening act with a new band from FNC Entertainment in order to promote him. This time, HONEYST, formed by four musicians, performed for two songs. 

 

At the beginning, we heard a strange message and a disco intro music started. The boys came on stage from the back, near Minhyuk's drums.

​The concert started with Radio and it was like an explosion! The song and the stage were impressive. The boys and the audience were screaming and singing with full of power. The walls were vibrating, the floor trembling. Fireworks exploded and confetti fell down on stage and standing area. It looked like it was the final of the concert but no, it was only the beginning and it was going to be even more impressive!Yonghwa was so excited the first day that he fell down from the keyboards at the beginning. Hopefully, he was ok and even laughing.

 

The set list was good and satisfied the venue. The second track was When I Was Young to put a sensational ans emotional atmosphere. Yonghwa played the chorus at the keyboards with much concentration and sometimes he was doing some weird dances. They mixed the end of the song in order to do immediately a transition with the next song, Domino. Then Yonghwa replaced the keyboards for his electric guitar and the new version of I'm sorrystarted. It was the same version fans discovered during the Spring Live Shake!Shake! in Tokyo. If the verses are quite calm and slow on that version, the chorus is still the same and still bring the same power to made the audience singing and jumping. The hall got hotter as there were flamethrowers on stage. It was not 7°C there in the hall. It was like 77°C!

After a MC, they decided to be more emotional and proved again they couldn't stop loving us with Can't Stop. This song is always a pleasure in concert and you realize that you really can't stop loving them! Yonghwa repeated "I can't stop loving you, really, we can't stop loving you". His voice delivered lot of emotioms that your heart would stop beating at any moment without warning. Yonghwa's voice can make you feeling an infinity of emotions, no matter the song he's singing. I could be rock, pop, rap, ballad, acoustic, you can't stay indifferent by hearing his voice. And when they continued with It's you, you can't stop thinking "You make me crazy, so crazy!" So beautiful boys !

They made a goodwork for the stage production. Flamethrowers, fireworks, confetti, colored laser beams... Animations on the highscreens put the atmosphere of each song. Sometimes you will be like in a old house with a clock remembering all the time and years already passed with the boys but still with the same passion before travelling to a beach with a little agitated sea.

​

They came back to their first years of their career with old songs like L.O.V.E GIRL, Sweet Holiday, LOVE, Lie... Yonghwa was performing on the extension stage and making heart with his arms during L.O.V.E GIRL. He couldn't stop laughing while doing fan service and feel amused when girls were screaming for him. These songs brought much fun and the boys often moved on the extension stage and jumped together. During LOVE, Yonghwa andJonghyun were close to each other and Jonghyun touched Yonghwa's cheeks. It was so cute that many BOICE screamed at that moment.

On the other hand, they also played the Korean version of their famous songs released in Japan like Blind Love and Royal Rumble.

Rearranged version of In My Head (but in Korean) was also welcome these nights, for BOICE's big pleasure. Even if that version sounds less rock than the original, it stays incredible and it enables Yonghwa to leave his guitar to enjoy more the extension stage, jump and interact with the audience. Sometimes you may wonder where he can find all this energy and power as he always give everything for live performance! Drinking RedBull seemed helping him to get even more energy than he already has!

 

Same for feeling. By hearing these news versions, you can realize that the boys and their music really grew up and became even more better than they could be until now. They got the talent to surprise their fans and give another color to their songs. If feeling usually sound like a ballad with Yonghwaplaying the piano, this new version sound like a funny pop song with guitar riffs stronger than the piano. During the last chorus the boys were all reunited around Minhyuk's drums, jumping and dancing. An important point which make a band an unbreakable good band with a long and big career is definitely the friendship between the members. They are like brothers, crossing the same way with the same passion and same dreams. The strong friendship between CNBLUE's members is touching. As BOICE we can be proud of them and be sure that it's not the end of the adventure with the four of them.

Wake up was one of the high points of the live as the audience screamed non stop at differents tones following the boys' voices or the intensity of the guitar. The boys decided to play again the last part in order to enjoy longer. The second day, it seemed the song had no end. The band restarted the same notes automatically. 

​

The boys showed again their close friendship and they often interacted or danced together on the center stage, especially for You're so Fine. They lined one behind other, making "chicken walk" along the extension stage. They didn't miss the opportunity to joke and laugh with the audience during MC as well.

 

Yonghwa, as a great leader, was incredibly a great showman and lead the show perfectly. He has such a great presence on stage. He couldn't stop dancing, smiling and when he hadn't his guitar with him, he was always running or jumping, asking to the audience to make more noise! Center stage was one of the favorite parts of the stage for him. And camera was his best friend to exchange eye contact with everyone in the hall when he was sat or lying down on stage. Especially during Face to Face, he was always trying to catch every camera near him to send flying kiss. He left two times the stage to go around the standing zone and greet fans who become crazy!

​

The audience danced and sang again with lot of fun during Coffee Shop and Cinderella. These songs are really good to make a good party! Add now the song Between Us which bring so much feelings. And then, it's a good song to close the stage. Finally, arms raised up, fans made the fanchants and jumped during the chorus with the boys.

​

The encore was very special and so friendly. When the boys came back on stage, wearing T-shirt of the concert, Yonghwa first asked "Catch me" to introduce the first song. Catch me has always the same effect on live. 

After this first song, they sat down on the center stage for an acoustic session. They played plenty of most liked songs while joking again. Love Lightfirst. After Yonghwa said something to Jonghyun's ear, saying "Can't you make it?" and they played a part of I'm a Loner. Fans sang again and were ready to continue but the boys only played the first part. They all sang together famous songs like My Star (but Minhyuk had forgotten a little the lyrics), You've fallen for me and even Jungshin got his glory moment by singing alone for few minutes. 

The session was more emotional the second day. Jonghyun first played alone My Love, then Minhyuk sang again My Star, followed by Jungshin.Yonghwa finished by singing a medley including Stay Sober, Don't Care and You've fallen for me.

This part was really magic, fans could feel so close to their favorite band, like it was not really a concert, but just a nice moment with best friends.
They concluded that part with Manito and all members participated to the vocal part.

After Manito, they went back to the main stage and they spoke for a last MC. They thanked the audience for always supporting them and said that even if they were getting old, they stay young forever and they will continue to make good songs and perform concerts with the same energy and enthusiasm. Despite the bad rules of K-pop Entertainment world, if you're a true BOICE, just consider CNBLUE members as musicians first, not idols for other entertainment activites. True and talented artists and their music keep existing forever if you keep listening and supporting. So Young Foreverclosed the stage while confetti were falling down on stage. It's a song that close perfectly the performance with emotions. 

But the second day, the boys didn't want to leave the stage and BOICE were always screaming for double encore. That was longer than the first day, they decided to add I'm a Loner, and perform once again You're so Fine and Between Us. The boys enjoyed a lot this final, happy to have spent a great moment with their fans after a while!

​

So what's exactly between us? Between CNBLUE and BOICE? Something one of a kind that you won't find with another band. Maybe the word doesn't exist, or mayble there are too much to describe what can unite the two parts. "Blue" is a very special color which may have many secrets. 

It was the end of the dream for Seoul. But also the beginning of the Asia Tour which will continue next month. For people who missed the start, the second day has been recorded for a DVD.

I love their friendship (and they're not hiding it). It's nice to see Yonghwa and Shinhye on the same photo (no delulu; only on the inside). I hope we'll see more of showing their friendship from now on.

CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk Confirmed To Star Alongside Ha Ji Won In New Medical Drama - Soompi

CNBLUE member Kang Min Hyuk will be appearing in MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Hospital Ship†(literal title) with Ha Ji Won, who was previously confirmed as the female lead.

 

A source from Kang Min Hyuk’s agency FNC Entertainment stated, “[Kang Min Hyuk] has decided to star in [the drama]. We are currently coordinating the details.â€

 

“Hospital Ship†is a medical drama about a ship that provides medical services to island villages. It is expected be a touching story that follows the young doctors as they grow. It will be directed by PD Park Jae Bum of “Start Again†and written by screenwriter Yoon Sun Joo of “Secret Door.â€

 

Kang Min Hyuk will take on the role of Kwak Hyun, a physician with warm hands, warm eyes, and most importantly, a warm heart. He is considerate, but not naïve, and capable of empathizing with others.
