I'm not sure about that.

 

I don't know it's specific origin, but I have a feeling it's from part of a routine a comedian would do (Shinyoung would often borrow from routines - a little action here, a voice there - when filming IY and I believe this hands up (and sometimes legs) thing was introduced by her). It's similar to how Daesung would always do this dance on Family Outing - something from Korean pop culture as they were growing up.
