I think Tao is. Baby Don't Cry, Two Moons, and Growl. Tao is the one who usually takes the fast rap part while Kris is the one who usually takes the slow rap part.

For Growl Tao got the main rap, and it could be said that Kai's part was the main rap of Wolf in which Tao got as well (and Baby Don't Cry if we wanna include non-title tracks). Only time Kris got a main rap part was History.

True. The formation in M & K isn't identical. M has Taoris as rappers while K has BaekSoo as vocalists. So it's really hard to distribute the roles correctly all the time. I think Kris used to be considered as the main rapper of Exo-M, but the role seems to be shifting toward Tao these days.

I was trying to be on a hiatus, I really did. I just finished an exam today (thank God) and I have so many incoming school works to do. College is a pain. Around this time, I really wanted to set Exo aside. But yesterday, as we all know, Exo K Overdose dance practice video got leaked. Whether it was deliberation or not, I was very upset. Hypocritically, though, I watched it. I didn't even hesitate. I think it was a subconscious action. I'm not going to spoil anything for those who haven't watched it (although I'm sure there's only a few) about the video, the only things I wanted to say will be about my vague reception of it. I thought the song and choreo weren't disappointing at all since I set a pretty high expectation for Exo after Growl. The chorus was very catchy and the song in general will grow on you very fast just like Growl. The two songs are very good in their own way, so I was upset that people already started downgrading Growl. Honestly, give Growl more credits because Exo wouldn't have been where they are today without Growl. I'm looking forward to M's version, but, I'm worried. The song sounds like it was written for Korean language (as always) and so, I don't expect M's version to be as good. The song and performance made me understand why they are calling for a separate promotion. I will be happy with more lines for each members. The rap part was really the only thing throwing me off.

similar to Wolf's, the lyrics in general, sounds extremely suggestive. I'm not a fan of sexual lyrics. The rap part was gross. It screams oral sex to be honest. Can someone explain to me what else could the rap part be suggesting? Please, SM, make them change the freaking lyrics. Some peoople are calling them SEXO now. I can see why. I don't want to sound like a delusional fan who believes in a virginal concept (although I don't want to assume they're liars), but I am not a fan of sexy concept at all. Anyway, if the lyrics get revised in a positive way, I don't mind Taoris getting a big share of ChanSeKai's rap part. I don't want any other nonrapper getting a share because the rap is already too short for my taste.

I hope this song will sell well both digitally and physically. It doesn't feel like SM really. So excited for the comeback.

 

EXACTLY! I planned to be on a hiatus for a while too…I have tests, exams, assignments and essays to complete…this is seriously not a good time for Exo to have a comeback. 

I've not seen the teaser or heard the audio yet…..I want to wait till the full MV is out because I want a surprise. But seriously...

 

 

I went to read the lyrics for the rap part, and totally freaked out. It's oral sex 100%, if you ask me…..I cannot think of a better explanation. However…might this be a misunderstanding? We all know SM's english; the song probably doesn't have a sexual meaning to it in hangul. Maybe the songwriter imagined them being 'thirsty' for love, but not thirsty for sex and..er, that stuff. I really hope it's all a misunderstanding and wordplay…I don't think SM have the audacity to have sex mentioned anywhere just yet. Well, the K-fans so far did not start some kind of an uprising about this yet, so I think it's possible that it's just a mistranslation or something. Hopefully. 

 

 

 

 

So far from all the gifs and pictures I've seen, the MV and song seems very 'MAMA', but still very 'Growl' at the same time. The hexagonal shapes gave me nostalgia

Nah, I was just in Tokyo like 2 weeks ago; Tao and Luhan are really popular there; guys that remind them of manga characters are ALWAYS popular. EXO can be the new KARA if they play it right. Promote the popular members in Japan and they will do fine. Japan doesn't mind and even likes huge groups. Tao definitely fits the type to be popular there.

so are u okay with the lyrics? Im not. Sex life is okay but dont put in lyrics that suggestively. Exo fans are really young too. The lyricists are americans so im not surprised. I think korean people may not know the underlying content.

Okay thank you. I'm just glad to know I wasnt overreacting. A lot of people have been taking it too lightly. I just hope some people can make sense of the lyrics and convince me that it has more depth than this. It would be great to know if by taste and drink it means love potion or like drug. The romanticization of drug is frustrating me but I would rather see it as that way. Like how drug is personified

Im so glad there is a place where Tao is one of the more popular members. I hope they go to Japan more often. Tao is so loveable, how could he not be popular. The manhwa look definitely help the china line popularity. I know China also like that type of look.

He said a really long sentence in Japanese, he also said he wanted to spend this time happily with everyone. His language skills were great and everyone was praising him, he then bent down to do his shoelaces. 

They played a vcr that was similar to MID’s mv, there’s a main girl and Tao also opened a cafe. 

Tao and Sehun were playing a catching ball game, Tao lost and Sehun won a Doraemon toy while Tao’s punishment was to reveal an unseen photo.

During the game, it was Tao and Sehun and they had to use the arcade claw to pick up dolls. Tao did not pick any up, Sehun succeeded and the loser had to reveal another unseen photo. 

Sehun got the doll and he and Tao are making weird faces together.

So Exo K's version reached 1 million in 6 hours? Exo-M's version is climbing up soon. Anyway, has anyone thought of how Exo will perform this song as a whole for the first few weeks?
