Hi guys! Can you believe right after Tao's birthday, I wanted to take a hiatus to study for my finals (which will be on the 9th, 12th, and 13th), but instead I was diagnosed with Appendicitis? Sighs I had a 4 day stay at the hospital. Gosh what a waste of time. But now that everything is back to normal, I'll probably go back to spazzing. Screw the hiatus. I'll probably just study and spazz at the same time. So many new things happening these four days. I'm really overdosed. So glad Tao made an Instagram (or at least has gone public), Exo achieved great records for both physical and digital sales, MVs and all came out, and Exo will be having so many activities soon. I guess this is their compensation for us heheh I heard about the IG rules some fans set and I think  that it is also important that we should take them into account whether we're going to abide strictly by it or not. It's important to respect our biases. Anyway, I'll probably post more soon. Thank you everyone for keeping this thread active! 

 

 

I'm disappointed/upset with some of the comments regarding Kris's rap in here. Although we are all entitled to our own opinions, I thought they were rather harsh. Kris is my other bias, please be nice to him. He is a nice person

I love Krisus! Even though I personally prefer his singer over his rapping, I like both his, Tao's, and Chanyeol's rapping. Kris' voice is pure ecchi.

So glad you are back! Hope everything went well and you are feeling better. There are a billion things happening at the same time so you couldn't pick a better time to come back I have no idea how I'm going to focus on my finals a couple of weeks from now when I already have so much to do in a regular day and there are EXO news almost every hour.

This is really an Overdose era. And I'm so happy that Exo is stabilizing their popularity. I really hope they can win Daesang since their physical sale is so overachieving. I have been waiting for his instagram all my life TT

He is so cute and on top of that he writes in english!! I didn't know his english was so good, makes me wonder how well he actually speaks, too bad idols are often very wary of speaking another language because they don't want to make any mistakes...

 

I think Tao can understand a good amount of English in writing. However, I don't think he speaks really well. I've seen some videos of him speaking English before. Most of the time, he's stuck at what to say next. Also, I think he asks for Kris's help a lot. I love his courage though. He isn't afraid to make mistakes and that's what I love about him.

guys, let's be honest. Which version do you like better for this album? I personally think K did better. I really love how the songs go well with their voices. I usually like M version but generally, rnb is K style.

I always go by a song by song basis:

Overdoes K=M, they both do different parts better. Verses for K, but Chorus, Rap and Bridge for M.

Moonlight K=M, don't care for this song much but the lighter voices of M kind fit the ethereal feel a lot better I think.

Thunder K>M, This is DO's track and I really like the korean raps. 

Run sucks.

Love Love Love M>>>>>>K, My favorite track and it is sooo suited for M. I love it. 

 

Yeah, I agree with most of your preferences. I think Chen saves M version with his high notes, tbh. But his pronunciation is probably still a minus. 

 

for me I love run and love, love, love by M..........the rest of the songs I prefer K version

 

I hate Run so much. I feel like it's a filler song. But Love love love is so nice. I think M does well with that song.

Yes, Kris is a nice person and I like him quite a lot, in fact he sometimes reminds me so much of a childhood friend of mine that I don't think I could hate Kris even if i tried. But I am not goint lie, I do not find any of the exo boys to be very outstanding rappers as of today, not even Tao.

I am not a fan of either of them because of raw talent,  but because of their personalities, attitudes and willingness to work hard to improve. I honestly think Kris is the one from rapper line that has improved the most since 2012, but I do find some of his earlier raps a bit slurred such as "Say Yes", which I do believe was actually recorded in 2012).

I'm sorry, I felt the need to explain myself because I was involved in the discussion. I am in no way trying to pick on any of the exo members.
