If every major comeback is going to "save k-pop"

A non idol act with an idol marketing formulae.

Do you mean like Troy or IU or Mystic89's potential idol group? They make public friendly safe songs. It won't save shit

we need another mega hit song rather then a major comeback

You're right, it's exactly that. Yet people seem to use that tired phrase about any major group that comes back, yet they don't make a dent...

No Added Sugar's lack of impact says otherwise  :._.: I'm not an anti i'm just stating facts.

going by that kpop died long ago...

when was the last time an idol song was good and had impact? 2012? 2011?

the last years kpop has been living off flops, "indie" songs and non idols

Right? I think it definitely peaked a couple years ago. I think at this point we just gotta enjoy things as they come and not expect a big event.

I don't think Psy will make much of an impact. Maybe the Wonder Girls subunit or Big Bang though. But I predicted Ha:tfelt to be a hit so what do I know lol.

Saved from what?

You're asking the wrong girl. I've seen that phrase a lot and nobody ever says from what... Maybe boredom, nugus, boring songs or uneventful comebacks?

EXID saved it so much that it will be at least another 5 months before it needs to be saved again.

My girls! They tried though :( i'm glad they come back, Up Down is a good buzz single!!!

Orange Caramel saved kpop so Miss A could take it to the next level.

Both their last comebacks fell flat (I liked Hush though) so maybe lower your expectations?

Why do people keep on saying that Kpop needs to be saved? There are always gonna be good and bad songs in every music industry. So what if some songs released didn't please you? Listen to something else.

I agree though... I definitely think there's a slump and everyone is releasing quick little singles and albums.

I personally want that phrase to die so... lol.

It's pop... it's kinda bound to suck tbh. So I just listen to other genres and non-idol artists.

I don't understand half of the people on this forum. Every time a new song comes out, they complain that it sucks and it's horrible. And I'm just like "why do you even like Kpop?". Personally, I liked a great deal of songs this year.

For some reason, people keep on expecting something that would blow them away, and in the end that song ends up something like Gee or Sorry Sorry I'm like
