Barring her genius attempt to cry out pain in 'Dressed in black' by performing minute's long of adlibs at the end, Chandelier and Eye of the needle (which was a 2nd listen love) this album faired not so well when compared to her past albums (some people have real problems, colour the small one and we are born) You? For CB, i literally liked a verse in the whole album and it was not even his (kendrick lamar) that same song was also my favourite in the album if i had to choose one. After Twinkle, I had such high hopes for more songs on the level of baby steps, hello goodbye etc. however, Holler just lacks something for me and i can't put my finger on it. Rainbow Blaxx sorta did but I liked their mini. I want to say WINNER but my expectation was just to like one song and IMPORTANTLY that they debut, so i'm happy. Non K-Pop: Warpaint... Mariah Carey- Its a long album title, but there was only 2 or 3 good songs on it. SNSD- Mr.Mr, I only liked Mr.Mr and Soul. Europa can be added to the list as well as it helped me sleep. T-ARA's past releases and albums ALWAYS had good songs that weren't even the main title tracks. I'd usually dislike maybe 0 to 1 tracks in all their albums but with this one, I couldn't really "feel" or get myself to like any of the songs.. not even Sugar Free.
