♔Nippon Girl♥ 737 Posted September 20, 2014 Share Posted September 20, 2014 their is this guy in my college that I know he is younger then me and he is white , I am black girl and I don't trust people easily , he said that he is attracted to me and that he want to date me but I am not sure and I know that my family going to be against it to be honest he is totally different from my ideal type and I don't feel anything toward him , I just see him like younger brother to me I don't think it will work out anyway , please help me I am confused what do you think should I do ? by the way I am Muslim girl so dating is forbidden in our culture , and he knows that !! [Edit] Thank You Guys I couldn't tell him those stuff with my own mouth so I Show him your comments , well he was kind upset but I think it's better for both of us . Sounds to me like you seem apprehensive of dating him for a number of reasons, but you didn't state one as to why you may want to. Do you like him at all? Or is it something else? It sounds like you're confused and are flattered by his interest vs actually liking him since those are two different things. You should figure out for yourself what you want to do. Or at least tell him why you don't think it will be a good idea and unless he can explain why he thinks it will work (aside from just asking you to "trust him"), I would stick by your feeling of it being a bad idea. If you like him, date him; if you don't, then say No. Dating is not forbidden, as long as you know how to behave. Just because you can't kiss, touch, sleep etc. with your significant other doesn't mean you don't love that person. You're a Muslim; I think you know the dos and don'ts.
