It's an improvement from 'Spark', which I found to be too generic sounding for a group like 3JSB. What made it worse was that it followed up from a bold 'Look @ Us Now' that was going out hard to bring in a new flavour to the group. 'Spark' was a let-down, and their weakest track yet. 'Waking Me Up' brings things back on the right track. Technically not a great song, but a catchy with the right winning ingredients and a rather distinctive feel; it has that fine balance between fitting with their established sound, and upgrading the sound. There's a familiar territory again where I can say 'They're back!". Whoever is in that LDH building that is injecting dubstep into tracks needs to be put behind bars...
