What are some good apps to download?

I got a new phone, its android, and I don't know any apps other than like facebook, snapchat, instagram since this is my first smartphone in like 3 years. What else do I need or is worth downloading? Thankya thankya.

Memrise is a great app for learning. It's probably my favorite app right now. They've got everything from Biology flashcards to History to languages. 

 

If you are a student, you're definitely going to want a file manager app like Astro, a PDF viewer like ezPDF Reader, and an app that let's you create and view word documents like Quickoffice.

 

Utility: Calculator app, alarm clock app, Convertpad, Smart Tools, Dropbox

 

For messaging: Skype and Kik are great.

 

Social media: tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

 

Music apps: Shazam, Spotify, TuneIn Radio, Stitcher

 

For news, I prefer apps that consolidate sources and articles. Apps like News 360, Flipboard, etc. Also, local news apps for local news.

 

If you're into exercising or running, there are tons of great apps such as Map My Run.

 

 

God, I love my phone. It's old and slow as shit, but I'd never survive without it.
