SONES STOP

Before you purchase your own Holler mini-album, think:

1. Are you buying this because it's a quality mini-album and you enjoy it

OR

2. I have been a fan of SNSD for a long time and have a strong bond with the group, but I'm not really feeling this album

If you fit in the 2nd category then please do NOT buy the album, I hate to be the one to break it to you but the reality of the situation is S.M does not view the girls the same way we do. They see them as products and think that they need to cash in on them as much as possible before they inevitably lose their spot as the top girl group or "expire".

That mindset will probably stay the same no matter what we do, HOWEVER, by not purchasing this album they will realize that Sones don't accept whatever is thrown at them. SNSD's album needs to be just as good if not better than EXO/TVXQ/SHINee's album, and if this album flops then they will realize it sooner rather than later. If you honestly want to see SNSD's music grow along with them then you need to start acting accordingly.

P.S I'm not saying the album was horrible, it is just completely transparent of S.M to give everyone a quality album except for SNSD.

Fair enough, you have your own opinion. I liked the direction they took. I think they made pretty good tracks out of what they had. I don't think SM is purposely throwing us shit. I don't see fault in experimenting with their sound though, I quite like the experimentation. Now after a couple of listens, I quite like it. Holla is so catchy I just want to hollllaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Again, nice to get people to meta-cognize but yeah, don't think (or hope) people are going to stop buying.

i guess the point of what you were getting at went over people's head. Buy the album if you truly love it but sometimes I wonder if, as a fandom, we are just settling with this basic music SNSD has been getting (don't get me wrong Holler is a quality mini but I'm talking about the music we've been getting from OT9)

This is light years better than Mr Mr, though. They did make the effort with TTS, and if this album flops because people refuse to buy it, then even TTS might not get quality stuff next time.

#BuyHollerOnItunes

Mr.Mr. was the best SNSD Korean album of all time
