Dream Girls is a Taiwanese Mandopop girl group that debuted in 2011. All the members are models under Dorian Entertainment and were placed together to promote Kingston Technology. They debuted with a self-titled single and went on to release a mini album in 2012 and their first album in 2014. - Generasia

Dream Girls Wrapup

 

Back from my short 2 week break! Here we have Dream Girls who are probably the most successful cpop girl group that have debuted over the past few years. I have no numbers or facts to back that up tho. As most cpop fans already know, the market is very soloist driven so most groups that debut flop and instantly disappear. Dream Girls are still here a few years later making them one of the few girl groups to stick around along with Popu Lady. Except I don't like Popu Lady, so that's why I say it's Dream Girls instead.  

 

I like them but i don't think there's anything really special or outstanding about them. Their singing is ok at best, their songs I like but again nothing amazing, and do they even dance? I don't know. But I think they're solid enough. There's some good songs here and there ranging from pop to ballads. They also act in dramas and they aren't bad to look at either. It's really all of these that's the reason they are still going. Mostly because of Tia and Puff I think because they are the popular ones participating in dramas and things like that while Emily doesn't really do that stuff. But Emily is their best singer so there's that for her. I didn't even know she was their leader until just recently too. 

 

I was excited for them early on thinking they could be the S.H.E for the younger generation but after how disappointing their album was this year, we'll see. Their first 2 releases were good tho so hopefully they can bounce back and put out some better music.
