Until we for sure find out what the deal is... I'm just gonna delude myself into thinking she's still in the group ! hmph T^T haha

 

Maybe her parents really put their feet down and told to her to stop being an idol? Maybe she had a change of heart towards idol life? Honestly, with the way J&J Ent. has managed N*White, I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to leave. It's great that they gave her the opportunity to be the leader and write lyrics... but what good is that if they never get to perform?

 

First, Lina...  now Soohyun... the whole group, possibly? OTL If you watch their pre-debut practice videos, all of the girls have so much potential. Like wth... they have a singer with a voice like this (during training!) but they don't allow her to show her abilities after debut?

 

 

 

 

 

Soohyun's a 95'er, on the younger end of "older" idols, so I think she still has a shot at debuting in a new group if she hasn't given up being an idol/entertainer, completely. But if she has decided to stopped singing.... this is almost as tragic as KARA, and K-Pop overall, losing Sunghee... All that lost vocal potential! T-T (..okay, maybe I'm just biased and over exaggerating? lol Trying to cope with the whole KARA situation, at the same time is difficult)

 

In the case that N*White has dissolved, I'm sure Hakyung will have no problem becoming a full-time actress / MC. She's got the experience and the skills. It was her original dream to be an actress before becoming an idol, anyway ^^ I'm most worried about Subin, though... She's pushing it age-wise, and her idol peers who have debuted already have around 4-10 years under their belts. I don't know how good of an actress she is, but we'll see when "Moorim School" airs.

 

It breaks my heart how many years each of them put into N*White, but were never really able to do all they could and become successful after debut T^T But I guess that's just how the story usually goes for trainees and idols who are from small, unknown companies... It sucks. Gotta really cherish the few years they're active.

 

Let's hope it's not really the end, yet! ^^

Omg it's been so long since their last appearance on broadcast. Our Actress!Hakyung has returned as another shady girl group member lolll Her acting is so good! I'm hoping she gets cast in a drama someday ^^ Sad Subin's part was so short... and there was no Soohyun T^T Apparently, the girl who filled in for her is a choreographer, though? (I don't know if she's part of E.ZIN, the dance team who did the "Paradise" choreo)

 

 

In continuation of "What's Happening With N*White"

- No updates on Soohyun's status with the group :(

 

Over the weekend, a K-fan notified me of a pretty serious scandal involving Hwang Hyo Jin (possible co-CEO/high-level director of N*White's company, J&J Entertainment). Basically, CEO Hwang (a.k.a. he's also Sonic/CEO of Sonic Star League, CEO of Sbenu) is accused of fraud in his operation of shoe/clothing brand, Sbenu. If you're curious to know more, you can read this thread. 

 

Could possibly be related to why N*White and Tenyard haven't really done anything the past couple months??.. which is very unfortunate if that's the case :(

 

I hope we'll be able to see them onstage and on broadcasts, again, soon!

It does look cute! ^^ I don't know if all companies have kitchens (I know Chrome Ent. has one because of Crayon Pop TV haha XD), but I think it's pretty rare to see an attached kitchen? It must be super convenient having it right next to/in the actual practice room. Now that I think about it, they've had this practice room for a year, now! It'd be cool if they did some sort of tour of the company~

Okay... so.... after what seemed like 3-4 months of our painful speculation... it's finally, sadly confirmed:

 

ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã…  Soohyun is no longer a member of N*White ã… ã… ã… ã… ã… ã…

TL;DR

 

• K-fan leaves post on N*White's fancafe claiming Soohyun left N*White
• K-fan explains that he contacted J&J Ent.; N*White's manager told him Soohyun left the group
• :cue all fans (who read his post) crying:
• I asked another K-fan if this was forreal; she told me she had a DM convo with Soohyun on IG

What this K-fan revealed:

• Due to "company circumstances", Soohyun left about 3 months ago
• N*White apparently is still a thing (just Subin & Hakyung, for now T^T)
• Nobody knows what the heck is going to happen to any of them

 

This was the last, most recent footage we have of Soohyun singing, as an N*White member

 

 

Ahhhh this makes me so sad T^T I hope Soohyun keeps singing. It would be such a shame if we never get to hear her voice, again. Although it won't be the same, I hope Subin and Hakyung can find success and keep N*White alive! 

 

With many of the groups who have struggled to become more well-known reaching success recently, I really thought this lineup would be able to get their big break if they kept promoting... If only they were under a better company :( On the bright side, at least we still have their music!

Not sure when they started, but I recently just realized Subin and Yuna (Lina) are following each other!

This year will be their 3rd year after debut, yet they haven't actively promoted or performed at events consistently like other groups, and they're still called rookies... Nobody really knows them, it's like they're still trainees with how much time they spend in the practice room vs. on stage :( If only J&J Ent. uploaded more of their cover/practice videos before Soohyun left... since they didn't get to perform together often. I've always wondered if they practiced a version of "Paradise" without the backup dancers??

 

On a somewhat random note (I've been watching too much Produce 101! XD), but it'd be so awesome if Soohyun and Kang Sira could join some other trainees and form a group.
