Entertainment. As far as I know, they don't have any active groups at the moment -- just actors. (I can't find it right now, but I came across Tenyard's Youngil's profile on a wedding entertainment company's site a few weeks ago. I'm assuming Tenyard disbanded at the same time N*White did.) They've been trying to recruit trainees for a while, though. It's hard to find info on J&J Ent. since they don't have any official website or SNS accounts... However, I just checked JJ Holic Media's website; the artists on their roster are NC.A, Yurisanga & Nam Young Joo. [sidenote: Pretty cool how MASC's members are '89/'90/'95 liners. Omg I still remember when Hayoung was one of the youngest idols as a '96 liner, a few years ago... But now we have Jinsol and Somi! Checked the song anyway out of curiosity and it was good though haha It's always interesting to see what kind of music they enjoy outside of K-Pop. Subin seems to be into R&B/jazz, Hakyung likes emo folk/indie stuff, and Soohyun listens to pop/ballads. Wish we got the chance to hear them try out different genres as a group... Subin replied she's working, practicing - just doing well in general. Wonder what she's practicing?? Today is N*White's 3rd Anniversary! Subin wearing her Paekje Institute of the Arts - Applied Music major jacket~ Active idols/singers who are alumni/current students: SECRET - Sunhwa / Mamamoo - Moonbyul / Juniel / PD101/IBI - Han Hyeri If N*White were still together and somehow became friends with Mamamoo, they'd have some awesome crossover lines! (Subin x Moonbyul Sunbae-Hoobae Line, Hakyung x Solar '91 Line, Soohyun x Wheein x Hwasa '95 Maknae Line) Discussed this with a K-fan recently and I'm curious what you guys think~ 1. If N*White were able to work with any other producers besides ZigZagNote, who would you want them to work with? 2. Of the songs ZigZagNote have produced for other artists, which would you have wanted N*White to do? 3. If Soohyun participated in PD101 (or were to go on Season 2, if it happens), how far do you think she'd go? 1. I think B1A4 Jinyoung's style would really fit N*White; he even previously worked with ZigZagNote on "When the Cherry Blossom's Fade". If ZigZagNote weren't their main production team, Sweetune would've been freakin' amazinggg *-* 2. Although IBI's "Mollae Mollae" is ZigZagNote's most recent release, Gfriend's "Compass" was an instant fave. 3. Reaching the Top 35/concept group round seems very possible?...taking into account Soohyun's years of training and experience as an N*White member and the hype (that's basically non-existent now... T-T) about appearing on Taeyeon's Hidden Singer ep. (alongside Kang Sira). She'd probably rank really high once people became aware of her singing skills... Soohyun visited the fancafe for the first time in a reallyyyyy long time (Edit: Pretty sure it's the first time since she left the group. Backtracked through this thread and I didn't see any posts about her visiting before now.) I think they all visited the fancafe in the past week or so, since the last time I can recall checking was 2 weeks ago. Was able to capture this: Kind of depressing how screencaps of their usernames is the closest we've gotten to getting group pictures these days T_T And it sucks how the fancafe has been dead for quite a while. No surprise since N*White disbanded, but it's still a bit sad. Fans still visit but don't post very much (Guilty...but writing in Korean is hard >.< haha) Maybe it'd be less dead if it they didn't move from the Daum fancafe? I think Soohyun is currently going to college. In the comments of the above IG post, one of her friends asked her if school's going well, and Soohyun was like "Yeah ã… ã… I'm with all these youngins ã… ã… Why aren't you here?" She visited the fancafe a few days ago though... At this point the "recent visitors" window is the only way to tell if she's alive. I wonder what made her decide to delete her IG altogether? Or maybe this is just temporary and she'll return soon?... Hope she's okay. I was just listening to Paradise and was like Same T__T Soohyun recently followed Jongrok of Tenyard (sings at 0:54, the member with the deepest voice) on Instagram, so I was curious to see what he/the other members were up to -- he's apparently an aspiring actor/model now, Youngil is a wedding singer or something, no idea what Jaeyoung's doing. Safe to say they "quietly" and "officially" disbanded and left J&J Ent. like N*White. http://vod.afreecatv.com/PLAYER/STATION/4154087 (between 2:20 - 20:00ish; mostly Soohyun singing but Subin starts rapping around 17:50) A while ago, I asked a K-fan if he knew what song they were working on in this video and he said he didn't know. He looked up the lyrics but couldn't find any previously released songs that had the same ones. Either this was a demo for an original song or they used a random instrumental and came up with their own lyrics. It sucks how they weren't able to show all their skills while they were still together. If they had unreleased songs, I wish there were a way to listen to them. Was IDOL x IDOL around when N*White was still active, last year? It would have been really awesome if they did shows on V LIVE. Nevermind V LIVE shows, but live performances, in general, would have been even better exposure... We don't even have full fancams of Paradise :((( Freakin' depressing what terrible management can do (more like "not do" lol) for talented idols Hakyung's still MIA >__< Hope she's okay. (made a YT cut for convenience) Subin and Soohyun were practicing a song, but I couldn't figure out what song it was. Well, the K-fan I know was able to ask Soohyun what song it was, recently. She just rewrote the lyrics a little, for practice purposes (that's why it was impossible to find, looking up the lyrics! lol) Still no news on what the girls are up to entertainment-wise. K-fan didn't mention anything else about Soohyun. Oh and on another random note, K-fan and I discussed how N*White and Tenyard were able to work with Zig ZagNote. They've been working with a lot of bigger, more well-known girl groups recently -- Apink, TWICE, GFRIEND, April('s is def. one of my fave songs they've done besides N*White's stuff). Zig ZagNote had already worked with KARA (in their prime) before they worked with N*White, so it's not like they were completely nugu producers only working with nugu rookies at the time.
