Wrap Up

8eight is one those groups where if you started in Kpop before 2011, you might’ve heard of their name. I didn't really listened to many of their songs prior to AOTW because they haven’t released much music since 2011. 8eight started off with RnB and and slowly transitioned to more pop electronic, but they still retain having ballads throughout their entire discography.

Personally, they’re a really good group to listen to, and it’s sad they haven’t released music as a group for a pretty long time. Everyone in this group has their own strengths which carry out in each song. Lee Hyun is an amazing vocalist and same goes too Joo Hee. Even though Baek Chan might not have power vocals like Lee Hyun, he still contributes a lot to this group with his rapping and added vocals. With a group with such strong vocals, I like that they don’t simply do power ballads, but rather they dabble with a lot of sounds and experiment with it. It is really a shame they they aren’t as well known anymore, but I’m glad we still see them do some side projects recently (i.e. Homme). Hopefully, we get some music from 8eight in the future.
