Can I recommend Shoot me in the heart? Rewatching the movie for the umpteenth time, I really can't believe how funny and touching this movie is and the OST is simply amazing. After reading the novel it amazes me even more how they made a movie so full of hope out of a quite depressing novel lol

Hwayoung is so sexy in this drama. I really like her character but not a fan of Seungyeon's character though.

Currently re-watching Heartless City/Cruel City. The acting, the OST, the cinematography, the plot ... Everything about it is flawless. I have yet to see any drama that impressed me like HC. If you're looking for something gritty and dark without being over the top, go watch it.

 Hello My Teacher. Starring Gong Yoo and Gong Hyo-jin, one extremely old drama but puppy Gong Yoo was great in it. 

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. Though the power dynamic never felt like she had the upper hand but still she was his teacher. One of the earliest rom-coms to come out of TvN, and is quite deep despite seeming like a fluff drama.

Its so good, its a crack drama for sure. Better than average quality script, directing and acting really elevates the experience. Haven't been this hooked since Healer.

I've yet to see something in the same vein in Kdramas (Japnese dramas seem to do this genre more) but I would suggest you to watch OCN's Bad Guys if you are fine with blood and gore.
