Anyone is watching a current airing drama? I'd like to watch some but I don't know i'd pick..... Any help?

Watch The Lover, it's really good & hilarious and I belive it to be unique amongst the other k dramas, for it's mature content. At least on MDL it's the only one I've found under the 'Mature' tag for SK (other than ~2 failed ones that have a low score and are older).

I've laughed the whole 50 min of the first ep and today the second ep will be aired. Give it a go, maybe you'll like it too :)

The only Korean drama I have watched has been "Wild Romance," and initially it was because Jessica was a part of it. However, I really fell in love with the cute comedic banter between Dong-wook and Si-young. Are there any dramas out there (especially newer ones) similar to Wild Romance but with a lighter tone? Keep in mind that my interest starts to wane when a story or plot is dragged out and slow-moving with quite little return. So nothing too over-dramatic or ridiculously sappy. 

 

Further, I would like a general recommendation of the hottest newer dramas that anyone might have. So far, I've heard "Angry Mom" is a must-see. Anything else? Thank you in advance loves  :smile: !

Any REALLY funny dramas to watch? Sitcoms are good too and I don't mind long dramas ^-^ Not The Lover, cause I am already watching and loving it~

Now that GoodDrama is back online. i can start watching my movies again..lol

 

normally what i like to do is..go to asianwiki.com  and browse the korean movies/drama list and watch there trailers and if it's interesting al go back on GoodDrama and see if they have it

 

The last drama i watched was i think the first couple of episodes of "You Who Came From the Stars" and the last movie i watched a semi comedy about a guy who's a fighter and he has to save his brother.

Hi! I am looking for a happy ending, very sweet romance that is not older than 2006. So far I have seen healer (omg I loved this) full house thai, Hana yori dango, and itazura na kiss1&2. I would like for it to not have so much drama a little is okay but not a lot and of course a happy ending. Thank you!

just finished watching Cheongdamdong Alice. I really like how the drama highlight the social class issue in Korea. It happened in my country too, even tho maybe not as much as Korea. If you like a romance of couple with different social class and status, I'd pretty much recommend it.

btw Im looking for a drama with this kind of theme: An extreme anti-social main character who slowly open up.
I know there will be one, Orange Marmalade which will be airing in few weeks. But besides that, is there any other drama with that kind of theme? Especially one which already finished airing

I recommend Sunny, I just finished watching it and it's wonderful! It's deff not for kids, but if you're above 13 and mature enough for the swearing, violence and crude jokes then I'd say go for it.

 

It seems like a typical teen movie at first, but it's so raw and endearing. I guarantee you will cry while watching it.

I recommend high kick 3. Each episode is only 20 mins, but the characters and relationships are very well written and the show is hilarious.

It is so hard to watch a film/drama that doesn't involve romance, very unique to Korean comedy, and cliche story lines. I feel like there aren't many options available once you watched the typical recommendations. I enjoy watching adventure/crime/suspense/drama/intellectual or cerebral mind play.

I like things with a more family, homely feel tbh.

I love to recommend reply 1997 and Empress Ki. Also faith i prefer best if you love Lee Min Ho. Not quite in to The heirs though. Only watching it FF and never watch it properly.

Liar Game (the korean one) (?) it's not thriller nor darker, but it's very mysterious and it's basically a drama that revolves around a real life game. I can't explain it to you, but i think you may like it if you haven't yet.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a darker melodrama. My favorite drama ever is Nice Guy. I also liked Secret, That Winter The Wind Blows, and Pride and Prejudice. I'm watching Mask, which is up my alley. I tried watching Queen of Ambition, but I couldn't get past the first episode. Should I keep watching it? And any suggestions? I'm a sucker for a good melo romance.

I watched a lot of dramas but my forever favorites are:

Jewel in the palace (a classic)

Conspiracy in the Court (awesome and meaty period drama)

Ja Myung Go (preJoseon period\fusion drama with amazing characters\relationships\plot\scenery\costume porn, warning: ANGST)

What Happened in Bali (best love triangle but a lot of people hated it)

White Christmas (sooo creepy but i loved it sooo much)

The Bridal Mask (it was so awesome that I watched it on air, then rewatched it raw and then rerewatched it with subs)
