If anyone wants to watch a war movie, I can recommand Taegukgi.  It's about two brothers in the Korean War (1950-1953). Very well done with good acting and characters. But it has lots of action/blood/gore aswell though. It's a war movie after all.

Kind of skimmed through the last pages and didn't saw the following serie titles which I can really recommend:

Memories

Very touching drama about a top lawyer who gets diagnosed with the disease Alzheimer and the story follows the effect on his work, his family and surroundings etc. Very much recommended. Very sad drama too, but also has some light and more cheery parts in it. The chance you will cry some time during this drama is 90% though. Absolute must-watch

Neighbourhood Hero

Show about an formerly secret agent who has now retired and set up a bar in the city, only to find out his old job keeps coming back in certain ways, even while trying to escape it. The bar actually acts as some sort of headquarters of former secret agents to both relax and escape from work, but also to keep getting involved in all kind of cases around the neighbourhood.

Has some cool plot twists in it, with the protagonist as a really cool hero.

Drinking Solo

Very laid-back serie about teachers and students who all have their problems, either with relationships or study and sometimes need a moment to chill out, drink some beers while pondering over the day. The characters are quite funny and interesting and despite that there is not some grand scheme or difficult plot during the whole show, it always kept me interested in watching more.

Has some romance in it, although not too much. In general just a very laid-back and relaxing show to watch, I found.

Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim

This is my first and only "medical" drama I watched, so I can't compare with the others, but I found it getting stronger every episode. The characters are definitely carrying this show, with Teacher Kim as the grand docter who can fix anything basically. Actually not too romance in this show, despite what the title suggest, only a little. And also quite a bit of medical drama which you would expect I suppose, nevertheless really enjoyed it.

Actually looking at these titles I'm not sure if there are any similarities between these series so I guess that makes it hard for someone to recommend something else based off of this list, but if anyone has any, then by all means smile.png

Guys, please do watch CHICAGO TYPEWRITER.

It is one of the best this year, so far. The actors are all good the story is really nice. I love the story of their friendship. This drama deserves recognition; unfortunately I think the rating was not too high. Honestly, CT story is way way better than a lot of hyped dramas these past few months.

This drama reminds me again why Yoo Ah In is one of Korea’s best actors. The guy is really good and full of emotions. I got really attach to his characters.

thanks for the recommendation, seems really interesting!

as for me, i only watched signal since my last recommendations, (which were Memories, Neighbourhood Hero. Drinking Solo, Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim, if you haven't seen these yet, must watch!) and obviously Signal was really cool as well smile.png

Can someone recommend me some good korean horror movies that DONT suck ass??

many consider i saw the devil as the best korean horror movie, if you havent already watched it thats a no brainer.

also I enjoyed Thirst, which isn't really horror (maybe?)  but more of a vampire movie, but still recommended!

and I watched Killer Toon, which is a pretty cool horror movie.
