Lay Bday Project: Picture Submissions for Collage

Hello!!

We're organizing a birthday project for Lay upcoming birthday (Oct 7). We want to include participations of every exo fan (whether you're xingmi or not) for this project. The event will last one week from Oct 1 - 7.

Schedule for the following weeks and during event: (Check in spoiler)


Sept 15- Sept 29: Collecting fave lay pics from lay fans, whether from xingmis or regular fans. We'll be making collages from these submission.

Sept 29-sept 30: Handing out the common gifs that people can use. We'll give 3 choices of gifs/pics you can use during the week event

Oct 1-7: Event week. We won't state the theme orders to keep you guys surprised, but rest assured...we'll be including every theme that was in the poll (Check http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/98286-the-lay-birthday-project-voting-thread/). The themes that didn't make it to top 7 will be combined with another theme.



Right now we're collecting your fave top 3 pictures of Lay and we'll be using one of those pictures for the collage. We ask for 3 pictures in case a few people already select your most faveorite picture.

If you sent us the images itself, we'll ask you to resend as links only.

Rate your links from 1-3

Where 1 is your most favorite pic link and 3 is your third favorite pic link

You may submit fansite pictures or HD versions.

We only ask to make sure Lay face is still visible when we resize the picture to a smaller scale (such as 200x250 for vertical photo). Also we don't know every site policy so please ask the fansite regarding using their pictures.

Tutorial on how to get the links for pictures from OH:

 

1) You see a picture you like from Lay thread, click on multiquote

 

2) Repeat step 1 until you have 3 pictures chosen

 

3) On the bottom right, it should say 'Reply to 3 quoted Posts'

 

4) Delete all the extra pictures/texts you don't need.

 

5) Click on the 'switch' button (circled in green in the picture below) to turn everything into HTLM tags.

6) Copy the 3 image links as underlined in blue into Notepad temporarily

We made a tutorial so it's easy and simple to follow...so there should not be any confusions.

Any fansite pictures...except Raye are allowed.. :lol: Raye has the strictest rules for not editing the pictures...

And we are not gonna use the fansite pictures for commercial purpose... so.. I dont think there is gonna be a problem.. :)

 

It would be really cool...if many people participate in this project guys.. :lol:

Steps are simple:

 

Choose three of your most favt pics of Lay...

 

Rank them as 1.. 2... 3...

 

And submit their links...either in this thread... or message it to @Lixing

 

Your number 1 picture will be added to the collage... but if it is already selected by another person... then your no.2 is selected and...so on...

Will definitely be participating in this. Got a few pictures in mind.

 

Also, to get the links of the picture, they could also just right-click on the picture and click on copy image URL.

It depends on the browser you're using and if you're on mobile or not. That's why i made the tutorial since firefox would just enlarge the picture when you click on it (either right or left click). Plus not everyone understand what does tags do unless you've learned html.

That's true.

Also, I missed the whole thread for the theme. Do you mind explaining what the themes are for? Like are they the themes for the gifs/pictures you're gonna be handing out?

Well we will have 7 themes in total, but it may be a combination of things into one theme (like we'll combine silly/bunny/4d personality xing into one theme). Each day will be a different theme. Some of us collected some pictures/gifs that showcase each theme and we'll show it during the day of the theme. But basically when its sillyXing theme, everyone can post their fave moment of silly yixing (whether through image or words).

 

We want to spread the word of lay bday event so on sept 29-30, we'll have a common picture that we can put on our signatures for the week. We call it common sig because the 3 pics/gifs we provide will have "Lay Bday Event" caption. It also promotes unity for exo fans. There's no theme for the common sig so we'll use any kind of pic/gif.

 

The collages will be showcased on the last day since we'll need 6 days to create/prepare it.

3. Link || Edited Version w/Lay only <- this is a pic with three members but I like Lay's look a lot here so if you guys are okay with it, it is my 3rd suggestion and I have included the Orig Pic as well as the Edited one with Lay only
