The three actors left over from season 1. I don't want to be mean as maybe they were really entertaining that season but none of them are offering much value in season 2.

 

If the show must have actors they need someone like a Kwangsoo or a Cha Taehyun someone who is naturally funny and always outgoing. Otherwise they are just gonna get stuck in the background with all the new loud personalitys there.

Not enough Youngji in today's episode, not anywhere near enough... :(
You can see her for a few seconds at the beginning of the episode, and she's there for about 7 minutes somewhere in the middle, but then just disappears again for the rest of the episode except for some random few seconds before the last part. I think I counted only one silent Youngji-laugh during this whole episode...
I like the rest of the cast and didn't even know who Youngji was before she joined Roommate, but I definitlely felt her absence for most of this episode, something was just "missing", if you know what I mean. Especially when the guest came over later in the episode. Youngji + guest interactions have always been gold... :/

Minwoo was actually a lot of fun in the last season, especially with Kangjun and Gayeon, but this season he's been so quiet...it's really weird actually.

I think Minwoo is much more prudent with how he acts because he. Kept getting bashed over his comportment (getting asleep while driving, when he was whining about Kang joon's success over his...

 

Furthermore, he is quite busy now with the filming of his drama so the rare occasions where he is present, he doesnt talk so thst explains why he may seem boring to some people. I like Minwoo when he was with Bom, he was the only one to refuse her bullshit/diva attitude, ah ah ah.

I hope he's just tired from his drama, and not actually as depressed as he looks!

He just looks so....miserable all the time:/ I feel like he'd gain a lot more popularity by trying to get over the driving incident and returning to his fun self. He does come across as jealous of Kangjun sometimes, but I feel Jackson is giving Kangjun a run for his money anyway, and Minwoo has a lot more charm/humor than Kangjun imho (not Jackson though haha).

Yes, minwoo reminded me of myself getting jealous over my sister ah ah ah. (Officially this never happened and I will deny it till the end of my life). I miss cheeky minwoo, Im sure he would get along with the new cast particularly the actress and the comedian (not sure how to write their names).

 

Who's your favourite member for season 2?

Mine is Lee Guk Joo , she is really honest and though she sometimes acts too much ( suring boring moments she resorts to acting like a comedian) she is hilarious most of the time.

I guess you're right. It's probably just that I didn't find neither the boys' outing nor the girls' outing, which made up a rather big part of the episode, all that interesting/entertaining, and was thinking of ways to make the episode more interesting for myself.

I guess this is how the people who watch the show for Dongwook have felt every week so far in season two...

Yet again a very good and entertaining episode. Even tho I adore Youngji, I am glad some of the other cast got more screentime.

 

I am sad that the show didn't get more than 5.5% ratings, but it is up against some really popular shows int he same timeslot. Hopefully moving it to another day will help the show grow. Season 2 is everything I wanted in season 1, hopefully people will start watching it in Korea as well so it won't get cancelled. That would make me sad.

I watched it again with subs. My favorite part is the beatbox lesson. Ryohei's beatbox was the funniest, he looked like he was sniffing some illegal substance   and at one point i thought he made a fart sound

This was a nice episode. Loved Ryohei during the beatboxing scene, I was worried he was going to be boring on the show but he's hilarious when he tries out new things (beatboxing, that fish thing, etc)

 

Can't wait to see Hara x Youngji and Hara x Sunny interaction. Hopefully she can bring some energy to Sunny too, poor girl has been looking so tired these past couple of weeks, that schedule of hers is killing her :(

As for Minwoo, I actually think he's still talking. If you watch the episodes, he's definitely saying something in the background but the cameras don't pan to him.

 

There 3 actors are filming their dramas sooooo i can see why they're not there.

 

I kinda like the "sharing" part of Roommate where each of them teach something to the Roommates

Am I the only one who think Dongwook knows roommate family would come? There's already roommate camera there before they come and when cameramen hiding behind car it's just way too obvious

Lol. You do realize their activites are scripted? So yes, Dongwook knew they were coming. I don't think he knew they were the disguised people though because he's at a filming location, there should be tons of cameras there to record BTS footage or just carrying camera equipment around. That part was my fave, regardless. I loved his WTF reaction to their beatboxing. They should visit Modern Farmer next time. Poor Minwoo can't even snatch a few seconds of screen time.
