Taecyeon gets teased for his past fashion + g.o.d's Park Joon Hyung praises him

On the September 11 edition of MBC's 'Stargazing' 'JYP generations special', guests g.o.d members Park Joon Hyung, Son Ho Young, Kim Tae Woo along with 2PM's Taecyeon, Wooyoung, and Chansung reflected on Taecyeon's fashion terrorist days.

On this episode, a 2PM fan revealed a clip from Taecyeon's past, provoking the beast-dol to yelp and stand up from his seat in shock and embarrassment.

 

Staring back at the presently cool, well-dressed Taecyeon is his former geeky self, complete with glasses and a paddy cap. An MC points out that in the clip Taecyeon appears to be talking about himself, as he had said, "Somehow I think with my height and face, I will be able to push ahead," ironically confident in his looks. Flustered, Taecyeon pretends to walk off stage in shame, while Kang Ho Dong asks incredulously, "Is he really talking about himself?"

 

 

The next picture (shown above) has SHINee's Key confused, as he asks, "Is he in the front or in the back?" unable to recognize the 2PM hunk. MBLAQ's Mir jokes, "It's like I'm seeing the movie 'Ju-on' (a Japanese horror movie)."

 

 

At the final picture, Taecyeon shouts, "Why are you doing this to me?!" as the people on the set comment that while Chansung has a celebrity aura about him, Taecyeon looks quite goofy with his poofy morning hair, "Beer" shirt, and Mickey Mouse pants. "Is that really your hair?" Park Joon Hyung teases as the rest laugh at Taecyeon's past geeky appearance.

 

Despite the mock fest, Park Joon Hyung expressed that he believed in Taecyeon's potential the moment he saw him as a trainee under JYP Entertainment, saying, "The moment I saw [Taecyeon], I knew that he would excel." He explained, "There are many good-looking people who are actually very rude, but Taecyeon is both very good-looking and kind-hearted."

"Taecyeon is not fake," Park Joon Hyung further clarified, before adding, "And he works very hard."
