TL: After getting ready to practice, members practice vocalization in their own way. Leader Hyeyeon loosens her throat playing the guitar, and main vocal U-Ji practices while looking at the lyrics.

My name is Hyeyeon , written as orchid Hye (蕙) and pretty yeon (娟). Grandfather name me so as to grow up pretty as an orchid. So, did I grow up pretty?

 

I was born in 1990, December 8th in Incheon. I made up my mind to be a singer when I saw Maya sunbae sing "Azalea flower" at Inha University in Incheon. I felt the charm of such a stylistic and powerful strength (of voice) coming from someone so thin.

 

I'm the leader and in charge of Thousand Faces at Bestie. I heard so much that I look like Jang Yoon Jung, Han Seoung Yeon, Park SoHyun etc. My leadership style is "let them out to graze". All are of age and do well on their own!

 

I like Yoon Jong Shin sunbae. I respect his way of releasing music he likes every month like "Monthly Yoon Jong Shin", and want to be successful in variety and music like him. These days I'm also interested in composing and like acoustic music very much so want to work with Yoon Jong Shin sunbae on that.

 

If I wasn't a singer I would be a clothes vendor or an artist. I was interested in art from a young age so I sometimes draw alone.  These days I use a brush pen. When I was resting after EXID, I thought of becoming an illustrator.

 

When I was young I went to play a lot with my cousins.  I think I catch bugs well because [TL: if you're squeamish skip]

we played in the mountains and fields and caught frogs, cooked grasshoppers, and climbed trees like we were filming "Law of the Jungle" 

Even in high school I went around trying to catch dragon flies with a dragonfly net. I want to experience youth appearing in variety programs like "Invincible Youth" farming.

 

Though I hear that I look cute and look to have a lot of aegyo, in reality, I dont have aegyo. I'm blunt and easy-going. I've become more womanly of late. Before, I was like a boy that didn't even know sorrow.

 

If I was the CEO of the agency, I want to infuse a bit of healthy, energetic, and bit bad image of hip pop into Bestie. Kind of music you can play around with on stage!

 

When I'm 50, I'll buy land on Jeju Island and build a house like that in the movie "Introduction to architecture". I want to feel the leisure of sitting in the swing chair in front of a house with a view of the ocean.  By that time I should have a happy family and live as an ordinary mom?

My name is Hyerung, written as the sea Hye(æµ·) and mountain Ryung (?). My father's friend, who is a pastor, made the name. Means to be special person as a mountain that rises above the ocean.

 

Was born on November 11, 1994. I grew up in Seoul but I hear I have a strange way of speaking. Unnies mimic my way of speaking everytime I speak.

 

I originally trained to be an actress for about 6 years. I was active as a child in things such as KBS drama "Ban-ol-lim" and "Magic Kid Masuri". Recently I appeared in tvN drama "Nine" as Bang Hyung Sik's girlfriend... Bang Hyung Sik sunbae is... truly nice!

 

Even though I'm the maknae in Bestie, I'm the actual power. As unnies say, "Maknae on top". I have a habit of scanning people when I see them so I unconsciously take care of and fix their clothing. I've even pointed out to our CEO that his jean bottoms were crooked. I'm always on the look out to take sure the unnies look good on stage.

 

I want to be cool like Jun Do Yeon sunbae and Lee Yo Won sunbae whose activities continue even after they have children. I was envious they seem so happy taking their kids around. When I heard Jun Do Yeon sunbae's husband say " I didn't want actress Jun Do Hyun to change after we were married.", I said to myself to meet a husband like that.

 

My dream is for Bestie to be a national group like god. I want to try various genres of music like reggae, hip hop, etc.

My name is Yuji. Written as 'to have' Yu (有) and  wisdom Ji (智). As it says, means a person with wisdom. My grandmother attended (buddhist) temple and said a monk there made the name.

 

Born in January 2nd, 1991, I started life as JYP trainee at 19, while attending university, came to try again as Bestie after EXID.

 

In reality singer was not my dream. Instead of singer, I wanted to be a university vocal teacher or school lecturer etc that were related to singing. I was worried about being a singer. I thought maybe people would be disappointed after actually hearing me sing that I really didnt have confidence.  But I learned what my dream was at a JYP showcase and gained confidence after managing to come in 2nd.

 

I grew my dreams of becoming a singer after starting as a trainee at JYP. I became sure of wanting to be a singer after standing on stage not long after becoming a trainee via a showcase. I wanted to show people more even if I dance a little, it was fun, and I was happy.

 

I want to earn and lot of money and start a charitable organization. I've always been interested in charities so I used to collect spending money in a charity pot to donate every year. After donating, I feel good for a few days thinking it helped someone.

 

During SBS Chuseok Special Star Face Off I got Ok Joo Hyun sunbae's part on a reproduction of FinKL. I pinned my my hair up and went with a short hair in order to reproduce FinKL's look during their activities. I was a bit upset at 1990's old bumpkin look but was surprised my mother and aunt said it looked pretty. Should we do a retro concept?....

 

I hear my first impression is cold. Based just on appearance, I may look strong and stand-offish but reality is different. If there is something to eat I take care to share, and am a warm person if you come to know me.

 

If I was the CEO, I want to prepare a bit dark and heavy song for the next album. Like Sistar's  "Gone not around any longer",  feels heavy and sexy but in the end not a lascivious song.

 

I really want to be a singer for a long time. So I'm envious and respect Insooni and Cho Yong Pil 's passion. I really like Beyonce too so I want to try Beyonce like music also.

My name is Dahye. Written many Da(多) and blessings/favor  Eun(æ©) [TL NOTE. I think writer makes a mistake here I think he means to write  blessings/favor Hye(惠)]. Though it means it would be good to receive many blessings/favors, I want to give a lot of blessings/favors also. I think you receive as much as you give.

I was born June 12, 1993. I heard I carried around a children's cassette player even when young and danced and sang at the market (outdoor). Songs have power to comfort you when it's difficult and make you feel even better when happy. When I was young I thought I just liked standing in front of people was all, but now I want to be a singer that heals through song.

These days I think hard about what I want. Don't think it's money or fame, I want to establish a foundation  for people in difficult situations and help, like I want to be a healer through song to many people. A foundation with so much money that it can operate easily on interest alone! I think I should combine forces with Yuji-unnie.

I'm in charge of gag-character, atmosphere-maker at Bestie. Don't really have individual skills but I think I can show real value in real variety. Yuji unnie tells me it's all funny when I react or talk. Even when alone she thinks of my funny things, and laughs.  In pratice room, I put up untiring and energetic spirit.

Yoo Jae Suk sunbae is my ideal type. I watch everything Yoo Jae Suk sunbae appears in. I'm an especially big fan of "Infinity Challenge".  I like active things so I really want to appear in "infinity challenge", "Running Man",etc that Yoo Jae Suk sunbae appears in.

Nick name is Song-Jumma. Last name Song, first Ajumma... I really love dramas so I'm complete into it. I feel uncomfortable if I miss one episode. These days I was into "Master's Sun" but it's over so I'm anguishing over what to watch next. When I watch one I get really into one. Even watching "We Got Married" I get excited all by myself.

I empathize really well. When A Pink sunbae won 1st place, I was standing on the stage and when I saw them cry, I secretly cried with them. Even at a Missing Children Marathon event, I felt emotions rise up saying just one word and ended up crying.

I cry often but have a really bright personality.  Even if there is an upsetting thing I easily forget about it. Though I seem sensitive and timid, there's a cool side.  Then all of sudden, I call members at dawn. I beat around the bush with other talk for an hour then confess things I was sorry or upset about and cry.

I appeared in MBC Chuseok Special 'Idol Athletics Archery Futsal Championships in the high jump event but was eliminated early. When I practiced, I even recorded a 1.35m But when I really had to do it the start place was a bit different than the practice so did not get a good record. I was really sorry toward my high jump teacher.

I love black stockings. I get cold easily so I always wear fleece black stocking or leggings. Members tease me because I wear black stockings to the beginning of summer. If you go to my house there is really a lot of coats and jumpers in the wardrobe. But.. isnt it cold?

I want to be a cool person like Lee Hyori sunbae, who give of her own aura whether in variety or song. And want to be with Bestie members for a long long time.
