gno 1,887 Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 I wonder why I Feel Good and Every Night didn't achieve that much digital sales, I think both songs only reached 100K BESTie's digital and physical is really low. Especially because digital sales are super important in the girl group competition. Their most downloaded song was TUVM with about 67K. Excuse Me is surprisingly their lowest Downloaded song. I think a good goal for BESTie this year is to reach 100K downloads for their next comeback. I think they would be able to break into the top 50 in the charts with that amount of sales one or maybe more then one of these 1 ppl were turned off by them from that plagiarism controversy that happened 2 they hype for them just died, especially after the member changes 3 ppl liked WTG better, there were ppl who still saying they loved WTG well after EXIDs breakthrough and that it was a really catchy song. i feel it was a mix of all three, the better question is which one affected them more for BESTie, i think its just flat out bad luck at this point. YNB does everything they can for BESTie, its just they haven't caught their lucky break yet. its saddening because who knows how long they're gonna keep going if they don't succeed soon.... at least on the bright side they aren't struggling badly, they're staying afloat really well for a group almost 3 years in. idk hopefully something will happen for them this year... maybe Haeryung will become the new IT idol actress of 2k16 maybe Uji will land that one singing gig that will leave everyone talking about her maybe Dahye will catch hot reactions for her body maybe Hyeyeon will special attention for variety or maybe they will as a group get that one song that will turn everything around for them, we don't know what will do it for BESTie or when will be the right time, all we can is hope it comes soon through whatever outlet BESTie is in. gno 1,887 Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 im also a bit scared about their comeback, because EXID is coming back probably around the same time as well. one side im super stoked because the interactions we might get to see. another side im scared sales wise. i know they're gonna do worse then EXID, im just scared to see the actual numbers. YNB stepped up big last year for BESTie, what they need to do insure they do their best for them is probably media-play the heck outta them. i feel they keep a low profile for bestie because of the EXID rivalry, and fear of them being hated on even more so they need to play the field where they're individually recognized. Uji is a good place to start, she hardly gets hated on individually because she's super talented and pretty. no one calls her a traitor in her own articles, so if they could push her sexy side + her vocal talent, they could probably gain some traction there Dahye is another good potential, since she isnt labelled a traitor because she was never in EXID. her body would get the most attention, maybe they should pull a Yura, and have her in a outfit that shows off her ass, legs, curves or something lol and feed that to the press Haeryung is recognized somewhat for being in EXID which leaves her open for criticism. they need to media play about all the dramas she's in, maybe boast about the lead role she just landed. Hyeyeon, idk for her, she the least known member, and i think she the traitorous leader everyone is referring to and not Uji. there's currently isnt anything substantial enough they could boast about for her. she's doing radio but nothing exciting or eye catching about radio. Oh! the Bon Bon olympics thing, maybe something could be article worthy there. group wise, as i said before they just need that one song to turn everything around for them. it needs be eye-catching and shocking. whatever concept they choose is up to them, but they need to have ppl talking about them, whilst at the same time loving the song. personally i dont want another Duble track for them..someone else plzz. Anti-BESTie EXID fans will definitely take their chance if BESTie makes a comeback too sexy or too revealing, not that I'm worried about that because BESTie's been maintaining a good image so far, and their gaining popularity from that. I'm really hoping BESTie will work with Black Eyed Pilsung, their work has been awesome (they recently produced AOA Cream's "I'm Jelly Baby") I felt like BESTie was really under-promoted during their debut days, they should have appeared on more TV shows and variety shows earlier. Then Love Options would've been more known, then TUVM and Hot Baby/I Need You would've been top 50 songs. That is so true, same thing with G-Friend. Although their debut was successful, they didn't become extremely loved until the fancam, now their winning music shows and scoring all-kills. i honestly don't know if they would because BEP is connected to S.Tiger, but if they can i would totally welcome it because they make bomb tracks ^^ Edited February 16, 2016 by Gno Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
