Done man

Used to lol back in the highschool days

havent play it for awhile now

btw i also got some injury from it as well bt not that bad lol

thx

wonder where those top 2 free agents will land lol

especially Chris Paul

i started to play more Basketball during my highschool lol

Chris paul will probably resign again with clippers and Doc river official became the head coach for clippers

Bulls fan here. not from Chicago but Luol Deng plays for Great Britain and is my inspiration.

I played throughout University days as well but our team never got anyway high up XD

I also support the BBL (british league) but the league is pitifully organised and supported, its sad really.

I am Heat fan here, My favorite player is Dwayne Wade and i was hoping  he can retire his jersey for future hall of frame as a heat player.

I only won street basketball trophy  during my high school period.

Two sides to Doc Rivers’s exit as Celtics coach

doc-big-7503.jpg

When the possibility of coaching the Clippers became more of a reality, Doc Rivers didn’t exactly pledge his loyalty to the Celtics.

It’s not that Danny Ainge or Doc Rivers are stretching the truth, they are just telling their sides of the story of how their divorce occurred. The fans of Boston are playing the role of settlement judge.

Did Rivers simply want out of Boston and forced his way to Los Angeles by giving the Celtics a series of ultimatums, or attempt to persuade the organization to push through with the trade to the Clippers by expressing ambivalence about the future. Or did the Celtics, looking to rebuild and remove Rivers’s remaining $21 million from their books, urge the Clippers to execute a deal because they knew Rivers wouldn’t be on board with a rebuild?

The answer lies somewhere in the middle. Rivers wanted to coach for championships. He didn’t want to coach a team without Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, and he truly believed his message was getting stale in the locker room. When the possibility of coaching the Clippers became more of a reality, Rivers didn’t exactly pledge his loyalty to the Celtics.

Spur fan here lol

as far as i know British didnt even bother much about Basketball lol

i dun even join the BBall team in my school lol XD only played it during lunch time and after school

i guess so hahahaha but pretty sure that Howard arent staying in Laker lol

@K.D.A I think Lakers can't keep a hold on Howard.  He probably bring his talent to Rockets and start playing with Harden and Jeremy Lin.

Hola. I like the Celtics and OKC. I used to play basketball in middle school and 1 year in high school, but now I quit because I just don't like playing anymore OTL. And my skills aren't that great anyway so I was more of a bench warmer this year.  :>_>:

I'm pissed that KG, PP and JET got traded to Brooklyn for some guys that have their contracts expiring and a fame whore.  :donthinkso: I hate the idea of letting Rondo go because we want to build the franchise around him w/ Green and maybe Bradley? Dallas wants Howard, Dirk and Rondo as their next trio (instead of CPaul if hes gonna sign with the Clippers). My kokoro can't take it if he gets traded or doesn't sign with Boston again next year (contract expiring) but then I understand if he wants to take his talents else where and not waste it.

Sad case for Celtics, after Allen left, Doc river went to Clippers as a head coach and KG leaving to Nets. It is hard for  Rondo and Paul Pierce carry the team.

Healthy rondo ~

i heard he also intlk with alot of other teams aswell

would be really interesting to see them 3 in the same team

but both Lin and Howard were doing really poor last season

hope they will do well like they did the previous team this season

A number of rumors indicate Howard will get alot of attention during trade period. I hear some recent news Rondo might be trade to Dallas Mavericks

The Celtics have reportedly talked with the Mavericks about a possible trade of Rajon Rondo

Pierce went to Brooklyn w/ KG too lol. Their like a package together so I'm guessing thats why KG waived his no-trade thing to go with Paul. But I guess the new Brooklyn lineup would be beast and some people think they could get far in the playoffs with that. But then theres Kidd coaching for his first time so.. >-<

This is getting bad, There were no longer a big four exist in Celtics, and i agree  Brooklyn is going to be beast with the help of  old Celtics players and they might win next year playoff game.

I didn't know Kidd became the head coach for brooklyn and i thought he was retired and not coming back to nba. Good for him.

i dun support either team lol but i do like some of the players from OKC tho

lol i dun even bother joining the team -_________- cbf to do all those training lol

:donthinkso:  not a great move from Celtic there and if they really gonna let go of Rondo then this is the end for them

btw when will he back from his injury ?

like i said above that was very poor move from Celtic - -

howard is like Lewan of Basketball world lol

everyone is keeping an eyes on where will be here next lol

I wonder what Celtics player roster going to be for next season. Any idea ?

I think Pierce's contract is expiring next year and KG still has 2 more years left? Idk I gotta look that up. But Kidd should hopefully not eff up their first year because they might not have another season with the same guys that could go well into the playoffs..

Probably Pierce and KG contract was limited way to stay in Celtics, Kidds led to its greatest NBA success but I hope he won't over confident as a coach because as you said there are some dominate teams around in Eastern like Pacers, Heat, NYK etc.

We got so far Colton Iverson (24), Olynyk (22), Wilcox (30), Randolph (29), Sullinger (21), Melo (23), Rondo (27), Williams (26), White (26), Lee (27), Green (26), Crawford (24), Bradley (22), and Bass (28). Mostly consist of young guys now besides Wilcox and Randolph. Randolph, White & Williams are on a multi-year contract since this year. We prob might end up trading them next year anyway to maybe make room for those 9 picks we got.

Yeah I think so too. ._.  Sigh

I wished them luck, Celtics pride !

yea a basketball thread after the season is over

Celtic's roster doesn't even matter for the next few years anyways, they're all just roster fillers until they start using their draft picks.

Welcome to basketball thread, We should ask Babysnatcher for his Celtics opinion ^_^"

Brad Stevens, Celtics have been so blessed to work with him after Doc River left.

i don't think they got duped. Most likely if the trade never happened, Harden would have wanted more money and left as a free agent just like Martin did.

Probably Harden will fit in most of the team out there and make them become playoff continental.

i dun realy follow much about those staff or coaching news lol so got no clue but seem pretty rare for sucha young college coach to be in NBA

I think he win alot of award during NCAA days. college coach should be well trained  but not as good as those NBA coaches for years in the league.

Heat Are Trying to Re-Sign Chris "Birdman" Andersen

Miami made it clear before free agency began that bringing back the only rotation player from the 2012-13 Heat to hit the open market was a priority.

Heat president Pat Riley talked about wanting to bring back the contributors from the 2013 championship team and spoke specifically about his desire to see Birdman return.

@K.D.A

Thailand had make a debut for Wutipong Dasom into FIBA Asia Championship showcase, Don't miss it..

Thailand earned a spot to compete in the upcoming FIBA Asia Championship on August 1-11 in Manila, Philippines after winning the 10th SEABA Championship. Thailand defeated Malaysia 73-63 to win the SEABA title in Medan, Indonesia on the 23rd of June. This will be Thailand’s first trip back to the FIBA Asia Championship after 12 years.

The last time Thailand competed, the competition was still called the Asian Basketball Championship. In 2001, Thailand finished 13th from 14 teams. This year, the Thailand national team will consist of a couple of players who played in the 2013 ASEAN Basketball League season including their rising star, Wutipong Dasom.

Dasom elevated his game to another level in the 2013 ABL season. He averaged 8.7 points per game and helped his team, the Sports Rev Thailand Slammers, advance to the AirAsia 2013 ABL Playoffs. His modest average does not reflect the level of talent he has shown and how hard he plays in every game. Dasom is an excellent shooter, a high leaper and a good defender. One of his biggest moments this season was knocking down the game winning shot against the JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers during the 2013 ABL Hoops Fest.

The 22-year old is embracing the opportunity to play against Asia’s best players and is determined to show his potential in the tournament. “Going to FIBA Asia means a lot in terms of experience and growth for me in the game of basketball. Hopefully I will be able to showcase my talents and let some of the world know that Thailand is back on the map,” says Dasom.

Thailand will be playing in group D with Bahrain, Kazakhstan and India. Dasom admitted that he not yet know how good these three teams are. “As for the countries that we will be going up against, I have no idea what they are capable of as a team. All I know is that they will be pretty good competition for us. I don't underestimate or overestimate any team before going up against them. I just try to scout them as best as possible and then play with everything I have on the court.”

The preparations for the FIBA Asia Championship has not yet begun for Thailand. All of their players are currently playing in the King’s Cup.  â€œWe have not started practice or preparations for the FIBA Asia Championship yet due to a competition that we are having in Thailand right now. But I'm sure that we'll do our best to prepare and be ready to play when the time comes,” says Dasom. “Personally I'm very excited for myself and for the team because it will be a great experience for for all the players that will get to go on this tournament, the coaches and staff and me of course.”
