YG really hit it big when Big Bang won the EMAs back in...was it 2011? Big Bang had many problems with members getting into scandals and what not. I feel like that win made YG renew his faith in the group.

I've been following Big Bang since their debut and their musical styles have matured over the years. They have grown so much. They deserve all the success they're getting. And since YG is their producer, looks like he is entitled to it as well ^^

To answer your question, No. I know he made lots off Psy and his one hit wonder as well but Big Bang/G-Dragon is the real deal with regards to YG's success.

who else would be tho

i remembered a comment from long time ago i think it was 2005 (not that sure tho) where one person analyzed the kpop indusrty.. at that time sm was ofc #1 but they talked about how yg would be the only entertainment company that could rival them ... but they were still miles apart..

to answer your question i think there wouldnt be anything big something at all it would be only sm on top

I feel like that was an 06 article since around then you have a newly debuted big bang, who could be seen as yge's beacon of hope, and DSP's steadily decline and eventual fall from the big 3
