My curiosity, I don't know because GEE was a really big hit in Korea, so is Nobody and Tell me tho.

but actually evn in 2007 wg were never undisputed ngg because snsd had bigger fanbase but not very as of post gee but sold more .wg was a big trend with jyp's songs back in 07-08 but starting to loose its appeal by 2009.SNSD only lacked a big hit by 2008

 

WG were and is always about jyp and his composition always, visual ,vocals ,and variety skill they lacked to compete post 2008
