  1. Oh believe me my friend the hard stan had already been done after Boss came out - me falling for Jeno so bad I might've physically hurt myself just cemented that fact lol But I'm like kinda nervous going into stanning a less popular member, not because regrets (honestly idk how I was ever living without Jeno at this point) but because I realise I might've been taking some abundance of content to fawn over for granted??? But luckily NCT is still a fairly popular group and so far I haven't found that there are, for example, no fancams of him at large events like showcases. So far this is enough for me lol so long as I can appreciate the Jeno in concentrated form I am content. Oh OT but bc of your sig: I also really recently started stanning Lo*ona. Two huge new groups to hard stan, both in terms of members and sheer amount of content to sift through
  2. It's strange because I'm not usually one to end up liking an underrated/less popular member??? Dunno why but like this is a strange new experience for me lmao But god like I like how he's meaty??? Like not chubby (duh) but like he has some damn wide shoulders and thiccc thighs but THEN THAT SMIIIILE??? AND THEN HE'LL COME OUT AND BE ALL GROWN LIKE IN GO?? Honestly I'm shook and need rescuing lmao
  3. So I was a casual stan since debut with Jaehyun as my bias until Lucas came along this year and I was switched faves (yes ik I'm a fake hoe) and was like 'ok now I deff stan' BUT THEN Jeno caught my eye today????? And literally all day I've been watching videos of him?????????? I'm now officially in hard stan territory lmao save me y'all
  4. Everybody is different, there are plenty of girls who aren't like that. I was with a guy once who barely took eating or sleeping as a valid excuse to not be txting or messaging him.
  5. I used to not be able to mix at all, like I'd push my full chest voice up all the way to a C5 (I'm a soprano if anyone had forgotten) and while I can like half of the time support D5's now, and I can do the occassional E5, I'm still so chesty. I'm getting better, honestly singing along to kpop and trying to emulate the lighter sounds of most girl idols has helped. That being said I'm strangely developed in my lower register and always have been?? Like its not just because there was a time when I couldn't sing high and so I pushed my lower register because I didn't do that, notes down to like E3 have always just been there for me, and I can usually push it to C3. When I'm with my tutor even below that down to about G2-A2 ish. I've also always breathed properly. Like I remember going to the doctor and them saying that a lot, and then in chemistry once we had this analysis paper that detected gases in your breath, and mine was the only one that showed the actual full range of gases you should be emitting. I've always had a loud voice because of this what with breath support etc. and I kinda don't know how to turn it off??? Like my voice carries easily through pretty substantial walls.
  6. Hey did you get my PM? If it's not enough to go on lmk and I'll ask her to record more again. I kinda already told her it may not be enough to go on.
  7. It's somewhere around C7-D7 but it doesn't count as part of a vocal range since its more of an exclamation. Also it's not particularly on key. Nayoung could have a killer whistle range if she trained though maybe. Although there is debate whether whistle register is a real thing but w/e. She has some support in her lower-middle range, up until about A4, but the notes above there lose support and she strains most of the C5's and above. Falsetto was also shaky. The support at the beginning was very inconsistent and she sounded shaky overall for the first 30sec or so, she was probably nervous, and that partial/shallow support is probably more her standard as opposed to the occasional no support in the beginning.
  8. Well comfortable range is kinda not a good term to use (imo) because there are plenty of soprano who havent been trained to mix or are just scared to sing high that think their comfortable range is where a mezzo or even contralto range would be. Hell, I was one of those people who thought I was at the very least a mezzo when I was like 15 (although I do partially blame some teachers for that). It's better to hear them sing a few scales and hear where their voice naturally switches from one register to another, but even that can be unreliable if you're not a trained ear and the person in question has bad habits and have breaks or push their natural transition points up or down.
  9. In that specific example probably, but its best not to do that because a low speaking voice does not necessarily mean a lower fach
  10. I get that. I'm bi and don't feel that, but I understand that other people might. I'm way too insecure to be in an open relationship though. Like you've gotta be so together as a person to have a successful open relationship. I can't even imagine myself not being insecure and getting jealous when I hear or see my partner with somebody else. Like I automatically assume they must be better than me and that I'm the less important one.
  11. Lmao well its more because rn I don't have any guy friends. Tbh if I knew he was bi I'd be just as insecure if it was a guy as if it was a girl. If I didn't however I'd be having a different worry altogether lol
  12. Using a picture kinda makes it weird. I think many people have masturbated to an ex before, or even like that one hot friend someone has that you only know on a shallow level, but its kinda a taboo thing if you're in a relationship. I mean I just explained what my initial reaction would be, but I'd maybe be able to come around to being just slightly weirded out but not mad if it was truly just a sexual attraction thing and he was happy with me. I'd still always have that worry in the back of my head though, the only people I trust to be 100% honest with me are my bff and my mum. I've never trusted anybody else, like for example a partner, completely, so it might be different for others. Also this was my 1000th post so... yay for me lol
  13. I'd be upset. I know that guys usually fantasise about what they want to do to/with the person they're masturbating to, and if they were thinking stuff like that about someone we both know I'd be mad. Mostly because it'd make me insecure. But on another note there are like thousands, tenths of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of free porn vids that have hot people you don't know in them, why would you jerk off to a clothed picture of my bff when the other options are much better? Doing that insinuates that he's doing it because he prefers jacking off to my bff, and that's both weird, and makes me feel insecure. Hence, yes, I'd be mad. I thought way more about that than I needed to lmao

  15. DOOD I am still waiting on that song cover like I am on the edge of my seat give me a break joosayyeoo

    1. Sooyoung's Wife

      Sooyoung's Wife

omgggg gurl i been practicing so i can remember how to sing the song but i'm never in the house alone so i never have a window to record myself rippppp. tho i think i think i'll be alone on wed so i'll try then!!

  16. It can take way longer than that to show improvement. Singing is muscle memory and habit, y'know? If you have bad habits they take a while to fix. Edit: Especially if you don't practice much at home. You need to be practicing every day at home to hear a noticeable improvement in what I assume is five weeks.
  17. If you want to learn then you should look around for a teacher that is experienced with the type of singing you want to learn. Try a few different teachers if the first one doesn't 'click' with you.
  18. Ehhhh details we're both Europeans. Swedish is even a Germanic language. We're practically twins I actually live overseas though, I haven't been back to Sweden since early 2008. I moved to flee an actual insane grandmother (although she recently died (yay!)) Anyway why am I giving random background information about myself? Who knows. Anyways we should stop talking about this (at least here), we'll get told off for being OT
  19. Dude omg next you're going to tell me you're Swedish and live overseas and study science Are you me?? (minus the fact that I'm a soprano lel) You even stan YooA. And BTS. You're my new OH bff lmao
  20. *gasp* MY AGE (well almost, I turned 21 in September last year) And tbh I used to hate listening to myself as well, but I learned to get over it because it does really help you sit back and listen to your voice the way everyone else hears it. It also highlights faults and really lets you pick apart your performance better. For me the biggest thing which is annoying is I have kind of a half-lisp that only comes out sometimes when I'm talking/singing quickly. It has to do with me having a small mouth and short chin to jaw ratio, but I'm kinda insecure about it because it doesn't even sound like a cute lisp or anything lol
  21. Good idea! I'm actually really looking forward to hearing your voice haha How old are you?? (if you don't mind me asking)
  22. Maybe Adele's Rumour Has It? Not too many high notes in that if I recall correctly. Although it might be a kinda weird song to cover since the chorus is a lot of layers. There's a nice D3 in there. As a soprano that's like the lowest note I can actually do properly, with full tone and stuff, although my lower range is larger than many soprano.
  23. You could pick a tenor song. Not a kpop boy group song, they're usually in a gg range lol Maybe a western tenor song? It's really up to you though - you can always just transpose a song you like down until it's in a range you feel suits your voice best.
  24. Whoa hey you may actually be a mezzo or even a contralto. But you're probably a mezzo. If you're a contralto you'd sound almost like a dude, and at the very least androgynous. Not surprised you're not in the alto section, since that's usually entirely filled with sopranos. I mean, in musical theatre things written for tenors often match up pretty well with a mezzo range. I'd definitely be interested in hearing you sing, and we'd have to hear you sing before answering why you get a sore throat.
