I have a hard time to believe that people would think that statement means anything more than all lives matter, no one any more or any less than anyone else.     white alt-right conservatives started saying "all lives matter" and "blue lives matter" police immediately as condescending gaslighting rhetoric when BLM was spawned after the murders of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown by the hands of police and a white supremacist neither killers were convicted and got off scott free. the officer who killed Brown was never even charged if i remember correctly.  both sayings are used to minimalize and demonize the meaning of black lives matter.

    there is zero 'kumbaya every life is precious' intent to all lives matter. period. again it is to minimalize the pain and cries black people have been TRYING to bring attention to for centuries.

    all lives will never truly matter, until BLACK LIVES matter. Period.
