    Eh,do you notice that some GG's who has big physical album sales than RV most of them has many album versions? Like 2-3 version of the album...their companies always milking their idol album sales by doing 2 or more version .. I noticed that only Sm doing RV with 1 version for each cb (not to mention their DD and ICC era). Just imagine if RV doing 2-3 version of an album,for sure their album sales 2× from the actual sales..just my opinion

     

    And now this is the time when RV need to not 'being tired' since the hype that they build since Rookie and RF

    Rookie had 5 versions and that didn't help much

    Did I miss something here? physical sales low? And what "smaller company groups" are you talking about that's outselling them?  anyway... low physical sales does not necessarily mean small fandom.  Idk exactly how big RV fandom is but I think many seem to underestimate them.  Whenever I check their official twitter they get a avg. of 20-30K retweets.  And that's only people who use twitter.  They wouldn't be adding an extra concert date if there wasn't a demand or low number of fans.  And I don't see them making excuses for "being tired". And I'm sure when they start working nonstop (which I think they already have since rookie era) then I'm gonna see comments like "omg sm let them rest" rolleyes.gif laugh.png

    Low when compared to SM groups. Even NCT Dream/127 sells more than them and they just debuted last year... Up10tion, for example, is selling more than them, last time I checked their latest album sales are at 90k but maybe that's just bc they're a boy group...I don't know how big the RV fandom is but if our fandom is as big as we think it is, they are not buying enough albums for SM to prioritize RV. We all know that SM is a business and profits to them equal relevance and more goods for RV. If fans don't spend money on album, will they be willing to spend on concert tickets and merchandise?  I believe that's what ithadtobeyou said about us needing an active fandom.  There can be a high demand for RV concert in Korea but is there enough demand overseas for world tours? And I'm not saying they're making excuses for being tired but I've seen several people say that they look tired because of promotion and concert preparation and want them to rest after the concert. When they have jobs, people want them to rest and when  they rest, people say SM are putting them back in the dungeon or jobless.

    Red Velvet digital status is not the problem, they need to sell more physical, to have a big fandom like is common for SM groups, the girls won't go on tour only with digital singles. Look at other bands that were HUGE in digitals and never had a tour........ RV needs FANDOM, ACTIVE FANDOM, I'LL BUY YOUR MERCH-FANDOM (in SM's point of view)

     

    Look at SNSD, they go on tour because they still sell ALBUMS, they still sell TICKETS and MERCH. 2million downloads doesn't mean you'll have 2 million audience, and THAT is where the real money is.

     

    I know it's tiring, but THIS is the moment to PUSH RED VELVET EVEN HARDER. 

    How to sell more physicals, though? Red Velvet are one of the more popular groups in Korea but their physicals are always so low, even lower than small company groups. Are we lacking in international fans to buy albums? It's been like what 14 days and our album sales are dropping to 200, they are gonna be stuck in the 40k zone forever. T_T

     

    I do agree that they need to take advantage of the rookie and red flavor wave. There is no time for rest right now. While they are taking breaks, new groups are rising, and old groups are being replaced. Look at Twice who has been working nonstop since last year, Red Velvet have no excuse to be tired. If other groups can do it then so can they. Once they secure their spot and have a stable fandom, then they can rest however they want.

    Why did yeri not sing live?

    I think she did but the backtrack was probably louder than her voice..you can clearly hear the others' parts though and they were struggling tbh but yeri's sounded almost perfect...yeah, the group parts also had loud backtrack but you can hear them singing from the mic sounds..

    I bought 5 :D One of my albums from group order hasn't arrived yet, and I bought the other 4 at the local store
