Nevertheless, for the members of Boys24, it is good to focus to many supportive fan instead of emphasize of a few rude fans.

Anyway, if Boys24 is just dance group with large number of people concept, there is no need for X-time to associate themselves with Boys24. Just as well debuted them as X-time without associated themselves with Boys24. In my opinion, there might be grand concept of Boys24 which we don’t know and understand yet which attracted the Chinese companies to follow that format. Anyway, in the first single Keyakizaka46 have 21 members which 20 participated while 1 participated in B-side. Second single Keyakizaka46 have 32 members (management added new 11 members) which 21 participated while 11 participated in B-side. Same goes to the latest single. Therefore, if Boys24 want to follow the format of Keyakizaka46 all of them will be debuted but only a handful of them (7 or 8 or whatever management think is right) will participate in the single. In the next single, it is up for the management to choose the same number of members and the same members. Management might want to increase or decrease the number of members or management might want to change the members participates in the single.

X-time is quite puzzling for me. Why the companies want to associate X-time as Chinese version of Boys24. Assuming that it is like franchise (KFC, McDonald etc.), what it is from Boys24’s identity which X-time want to bring to China. The show (which some of the people said it flop)??? The theater (which everyone despise)??? The voting system (which everyone hate)??? The concept (which the members don’t know)??? Why instead of developing distinct and separate group, the Chinese management choose to associated with Boys24 (which some of the people said their fandom is small). If the development of Boys24 is just like other KPop group, there is no need for the Chinese management to associate themselves with Boys24. There is article about Boys24 in January 2016 which quite interesting since this articles indicate that Boys24 actually is not being emulate based on Produce101. I just want confirmation if this article had been posted here or not.

Why are you assuming that Boy24 will not be debuted, produce any albums and have variety show just because they have theater show?

I hope that if Boys24 will debut someday, they will have a strong concept which is distinctive in compare with other idol group (please don’t say that Boys24 is different in compare with other idol groups in term of having a member which is good in singing, dancing, variety and good looking because it is sooo cliché in KPop idol world). I don’t think that being dubbed as male version of Produce101 will work because Season 2 of Produce101 is in the making. Idol group debuted every now and then. The competition is high. Therefore idol group must have unique concept which can differentiate them with other idol groups. That is why I think SM comes out with NCT. It is to bring something new to KPop. Yes, right now it still confusing but if SM succeeded. SM will be able to franchising KPop idol group just like AKS did with 48/46 group. I believe CJ E&M can bring something new to the table with Boys24. In fact, I quite surprise with the establishment of Chinese version of Boys24. I don’t know what is the relation between Boys24 with Chinese version of Boys24. If it like international branch of Boys24, I think CJ E&M is one step ahead of NCT in establishing international branch of their respective groups.

As far as collaboration unit is good to spice things but I hope that they will return to their original unit. Collaboration unit inhibit the development of unit identity. Because I am a lurker for both of this thread and Boys24 . Well……. they can be both (being an idol and promote their song on local broadcast while having theater performance) although there are issues that need to be resolved. AKB have theater performance, having their own show, promoting their song on music program like Music Station and participate in Kohaku Uta Gassen. They are quite influential and I don’t think that AKB is not considered as real idol.

Hi. I am new to this forum. I am a lurker for this thread for quite a while. I am follower of KPop since SNSD’s Gee days. Besides KPop, I am follower of JPop too especially 48/46 group. Due to that I am a bit knowledgeable with the dynamic of 48/46 group. I had watch Boys24 show. What make me interested with Boys24 besides they have “work hard to achieve their dream†vibe is the structure of Boys24 which is quite similar with 48 group (large number of members, perform regularly in theater, divided into unit). Therefore, I am quite interested to know the direction and dynamic of this group in the future besides how this concept is well received by Kpop fan around the world. Moreover, since Boys24 is pre-debuted group, it is quite hard to get the current information relating with them. Hence, I hope for the best for the entire members of Boys24 and we can have healthy and civil discussion here. Can I ask when will the units COLLABO end and when it ends, are the members will go to their original unit?
