NGT48 image had been bad already.

I know that with the group of hundreds of girls their relationship are not always unicorn, flowers and rainbow especially with the 48Group which is based on individuality but why the team cohesiveness of NGT48 is really bad to the core?

Are Koreans following KPop group promotion in Japan usually? AFAIK they rarely are.

Well, I used to argue in Produce48 thread that the money making potential of the final group is in Japan. Hence, it is not weird for me that the Japan promotion will drain fan money to the max.

As someone that follow this scandal, that is something that I pondered about the idol culture in rural region. There is someone in this thread that point out about the idol that had committed suicide. Turned out that her group is based in agricultural region and the group concept is to promote farming. AFAIK NGT48 is the first 48Group which is based on rural/agricultural region (I don’t know much about the region HKT48 based on. Is it consider as rural region or not?). Note: I am started to worry about STU48. I think they also have scandal about that the staff calls the member suited to be AV idol or something.

I don't think it is a lost cause. CJ E&M know what they put themselves into when they decided to collaborate with AKS. The merit of Aki-P is that his group rule female idol market in Japan. If this merit is ignored,there are no point of CJ E&M collaborated with AKS in the first place and if CJ E&M not collaborate with AKS, I don't think that they will debut in Japan in the first place due to time and resources constraint.

It is not that new in 48/46 world. There is AKB48 song that some fan claims sound like Nogizaka46 song and there is Nogizaka46 song that some fan claims sound like AKB48 song. I think that what Aki-P trying to do is try to test the water on what kind of style suite Iz*One in Japan and Aki-P might play it safe but it is better Iz*One started with the Style Aki-P expert in and move from there instead giving something out of Aki-P expertise which is risky while handling the first AKS “KPop†group is risky enough. Besides, what kind of style that you want Iz*One to have? AKB48 “Teacher teacher†kind of song (not the lyric), Produce48 “Suki ni Nacchau Daro†kind of song or Aki-P take on KPop during Hallyu Wave era in Japan, SDN48 kind of song which was the phase of Aki-P really out of his comfort zone (They even have Korean lyric in their debut single and one Korean member). To put into perspective, this is the article that describes the biggest hit in Japan for 2018. I will highlight the most important part. During the airing of Produce48 until now, I always wonder where is the “idol you can meet†that they are talking about. Produce48 is basically “Produce48 with 48Group members as participantâ€. When I listened to Iz*One Japanese debut song and how they are being marketed in Japan, ooooo..... this is “idol you can meet†that they are talking about. Is it me or the song sound like the song that Nogizaka46 could release?

As a lurker of this thread, I want to point out that the status of AKS is different with other companies started from the announcement of Produce48: Produce48 is the collaboration between Mnet and AKS Aki-P is being said as one of the producer of IZONE during the first episode of Produce48 Gyuri had to stop her activities with Fromis_9 while 48group members who participated in the show are not. AKS is being said to manage IZONE activities in Japan (although we are not really quite sure) Kline IZONE members meet with Aki-P before debut. Hence the argument why Jline can promote with their group while Kline cannot is invalid since status of AKS is different with other companies. I don’t know the detailed about IOI problem but is it the due to YMC which doesn’t have the power to prevent other companies to pull off IOI members. Are exclusive contract mean that they cannot promote with other companies or it just means that OTR have the exclusive right for the member. If it means the later, it means that they have the power to prevent them from promoting with other companies (meaning that the participation of SakuNako in HKT concert is under the power and being allowed by OTR) and to prevent other companies to pull of IZONE members (to prevent IOI incident to happen). Hence, I don’t think participation of SakuNako in HKT concert is a big problem.

You never drag Keyakizaka46. They are the KPop of 48/46 universe. BTW, are they not realizing that Keyakizaka46 had been featured in Korean public television station?

If there are other which are more talented in dance than Sakura, make them have the part which is challenging in dance while Sakura take the most prominent part and divide accordingly so the part every members take is relatively similar. Simple.

I don't think that Sakura is at the Sohye level of talent which lead that her part is significantly lower than other. At least her part is comparatively similar with other.

Since she is among the best handshake seller in AKB48 and she is the 3rd rank in last SSK (which one of the method of voting is to get the voting code by buying the single), I would say a lot.

I trying to backtrack in order to know the main purpose of this discussion. Firstly you asked this. Anyway, usually the part is divided that everyone get relatively similar length. Some part is challenging in the term of vocal. Some part is challenging in the term of dance. Some part is not (in the context any decent dancer can pull it off. Sakura might not be the best dancer but it doesn't mean that she cannot dance at all). Therefore if we divide is like this: The part that challenging in the term of vocal - priority will be given to vocal line The part that challenging in the term of dance - priority will be given to dancing line The part that not challenging in term of both - depend on the role (center will get more prominent part, other will get it depend on screen time distribution). Maybe Sakura get fewer part but as long as the part is prominent enough it is good for her. I think there are many part in the song which is not that challenging in the term of dance and vocal that Sakura can get to ensure that his length is relatively similar with other. Therefore I don't think that is pretty much a problem.

Not really. Usually the prominent one is during the chorus where there member dance in the V line and the center at the center position. The problem is not the line tho. Usually people get roughly similar length of line. The question is more on which line you get. Usually the most prominent line is not the most challenging in dancing and singing.

Not really since the most prominent part of the song usually not that challenging in dance. My key point is that "look prominent enough". As an example is "IOI Dream Girls". Chaeyeon part is relatively similar in length with others but since her part is the most prominent part of the song that is why it looks like she is the center of that song. If Sakura take Chaeyeon part, that is enough for her. Not that dance demanding, not that vocal demanding but prominent enough to make it look like she is the center.

Well, Sakura is not the main dancer but I don't think that she cannot lead certain part of the song. As long as the fan see she look prominent enough in the dance position I don't think it is pretty much a problem. If she can center Nekkoya which all eye focus on her most of the time. Why there is problem in the dance formation which everyone have their own part?

Well, one of the producer of the final group is Aki-P. Besides, the show is collaboration between CJ E&M and AKS. Hence it is not that far fetched that the final group will be treated not as closely connected as sister group but not as detach as Sakamichi series either (even Sakamichi series is still part of 48/46 universe).
