  1. The Jurina version of "Sentimental Train" had been uploaded to AKB48 youtube channel.
  2. Can someone that knows Mandarin trying to check in weibo the information regarding with the composer of the Produce Camp theme song. Apparently, I get the information that it being produce by Japanese composer by the name Nakamura Daisuke.
  3. Hi. This is my first time posting here. I had watch the first two episodes and it is interesting that Tencent had change the training of the theme song from the moment of suffering to the giant pile of comedy fest. Anyway, did anyone have watch the additional segments of Produce Camp? It is freaking hilarious. You don’t need subtitle to know the context, particularly this one: They even have this kind of solo cam.
  4. Well, she is in mid 20's now. She is in the time to search for more serious relationship. It is not that surprising.
  5. Since when people auditioning to become the member of 48Group with the prospect of becoming 48Group member alone will secure their future? Signing with Woolim itself is a career after graduation. What you mean is that Juri probably know that she won't have a big career in Japan after graduation. We may argue that many graduated member doesn't have a big career after graduation but we must not forget that the fact that the girls like Juri or Saeppi are the member of 48Group, enable them to participate in Produce48 and have a career prospect in Korea. If they audition as Japanese KPop trainee, I honestly doubt they would pass besides the fact that majority of entertainment company in Japan is insular in nature (AKS can be special case since they have collaborate with international companies to set up international sister group).
  6. We have sort of AKB48 Group Asia Festival.
  7. I am not going to argue about the sexual thingy but the statement look like a lack of understanding on not only how AKB48 work but also how idol is in a large scheme of Japan entertainment industry. First of all, AKB48 is an "idol" group. Do you even know what term "idol" entails? Do you even realize that in Japan there are people that being called "idol" but they don't sing or dance? Secondly, do you even know that being in AKB48 is just a stepping stone only? For some they are some sort of extracurricular or part time job.
  8. I am wondering how long you expected after establishment of AKB48 before they show the sign of decline. 20 years? AFAIK people talk about the decline of AKB48 since Acchan graduated 7 years ago.
  9. Will this cancellation of SSK will impact the next single sales since the election single is the highest sales among other singles? Is it mean that the subsequent single is just normal single?
  10. How come people claimed that their statement are objective by bringing hypothetical "if".
  11. Interesting. I think SKE48 used to be under Pythagoras Promotion. What happen to that company?
  12. I think during those turbulence time they established SKE48. I wonder how they get the investor to invest in the establishment of sister group in Nagoya.
  13. I have browsing Sony Music Japan artist (don’t ask why). I am quite surprised that AKB48 is listed there. I had realized that former AKB48 recording label Defstar Records is a subsidiary of Sony Music Japan. Do anyone here know the full story how AKB48 moved from DefStar Records to You! Be Cool/King Records? I also heard that the establishment of Nogizaka46 is related with that.
  14. This sister group of SKE48 is kind of confusing. Is this sister group of SKE48 still follow 48Group concept or not. If it still follow 48Group. This sister group maybe sort of like other sister group but the different that they will be managed by KeyHolder just like SKE48. It is just like (to minimal degree) NMB48 and Yoshimotozaka46. One company (Yoshimoto Kyogo) have two Aki-P brand group. Anyway, if it is the establishment of another sister group, where it will be located? Is Tokai region capable to sustain another 48Group besides SKE48. Edit: Or maybe KeyHolder is interested to establish Sapporo48.
  15. I think it is quite common in SKE48 which the member that being groom as an ace announced graduation suddenly. I wonder why. BTW, I have questions since the discussion on Iz*One thread is quite intriguing for me. What is the main revenues/sales for AKB48? Is it in single sales, merch sales or others? AFAIK in KPop, sales of album and merch is not what KPop target for. They are targeting for CF. Is it similar with AKB48?
  16. Hypothetically speaking, is it mean that if only the best 12 handshake seller in 48G doing the handshake. Their sales number will mimicking Iz*One sales number (or more)? Anyway, is Sasshi considered as best handshake seller?
  17. Congratulation Iz*One for having a god first day sales. Anyway, I am wondered how many Japanese singles per year that will be released by Iz*One. One or two maybe?
  18. How long is Haruppi hiatus now? Is it as long as Iz*One contract?
  19. Iz*One marketing is a bit similar with 48G marketing and in 48G world people rarely talk about “AKS is so cheap at promotion†since the marketing gimmick alone (handshake etc.) is enough to increase the sales. If AKS is confident enough that Iz*One can reach their target (I think around 90000 to 150000 sales), there is no need to spent money unnecessarily.
  20. My concept of legendary KPop girl group is they release one signature song (the song that blow up in public consciousness like Twice’s Cheer Up, GFriend’s Me Gusta Tu, etc…) and good follow up song which is not necessarily as great as signature song. For me, Iz*One’s La Vie en Rose is good song but not that good to be considered as Iz*One’s signature song. Hence Iz*One’s song quality must be increase until they release that “it†song. If La Vie en Rose is the best song that Iz*One can bring to the table, they are screwed.
  21. Wait for Kline will have their own individual channel.
  22. I remember the good old PD48 days......... SKR48 I like the MV. The presentation of their debut single is very JPop style not KPop style in Japanese (the MV director is the one that directed Keyakizaka46 Saimajo).
  23. The different of makeup style is prevalent during first episode of Produce48. AKB48 Group members wearing their typical seifuku but with KPop style makeup.
  24. With regards of Oricon Sales, I think it is good enough for Iz*One if their debut single at least on STU48 level. Their debut single is released on 31/1/2018 Their first day sales is ~100000 They end up at the 36th place with the sales ~180000 at the end of year It is good for KPop level since AFAIK there are no female KPop group which is as competitive as female JPop group in Japan except TWICE.
  25. Japan promotion is lacking??? Is performing in the show which the last KPop girl group performing are Kara and SNSD in full Korean is not enough? Is becoming the center of collaboration of the girl group which shape female idol industry in Japan post-Morning Musume is not enough? Are we forgetting that IZ*ONE is debuting in Japan just only after their debut single with entirely new song? No KPop group is doing that before no matter how big they are are.
